Overall, I’m giving this book 4 stars because there is a lot of good information in here.
Why not five stars? There was just so much more that still needed to be included. So this definitely isn’t a bad book. It’s useful and helpful, but it’s just the beginning. The thing about complex PSD is just that… It’s super complex. And anyone reading this book is going to know that. So I think it’s going to leave a lot of people wanting. However, it’s a great steppingstone and I just wish it were more involved.
A pretty basic guide to CPTSD and how to identify and handle it. Pretty eye opening book that explains the causes of CPTSD and how you can manage your symptoms. I do feel the book is a little bland but gets right to the point, which I appreciate.
5 / 5 stars. Loved this book. It was very easy to understand and not full of lots of tough language to understand. Full of lots of good tips and reminders. Will most likely re-read again at some point.
