Another great story in Chase’s Premonition Pointe world. This one focuses on a sisterly bond Marion & Charlotte must repair to save the unwitting men of Premonition Pointe. By now, there are a LOT of names, details & relationships to remember which kept my head spinning at times. Because of this, I’d recommend a reread of at least the 2 previous Mismatched Dating books in the series first. The pace is steady and mystery hovers over the sisters’ heads till the final line of the book. Though this is a witchy Hallmark book, there’s a decent amount of darkness present to set it apart. And as always, Chase is very inclusive of LGBT side characters & topics.

The one thing I missed the most was the setup into the next book in the series. There’s a little bit of a sneak peek but it isn’t as obvious as the other books have been. All in all, I love the world and will keep reading whatever Deanna Chase writes.

Outmatched Witch by Deanna Chase Marion Matched dealing with an unexpected arrival of her half-sister, Charlotte and her dog, Minx. Marion has enough on her plate without the added drama of her sister’s latest problem. Unfortunately, it seems that the sibling’s are destined to work together. Marion will need to be on her toes because something sinister will soon invade her life. Outmatched Witch is the third novel the Miss Matched Midlife Dating Agency series. I found Outmatched Witch an easy-to-read story. I like Deanna Chase’s writing style (friendly, casual). I am glad that the author gave us an older protagonist (Marion is almost fifty). The other members of the Premonition Pointe coven are around the same age (with age comes wisdom). Marion is smart, kind, and feisty. I like that we get to catch up with the characters from the Premonition Pointe series. There is humor scattered throughout the story that will have you chuckling. I did not like the foul language (way too much of it) nor the detailed intimate encounters. There is action, mystery, and suspense that keeps things lively. I loved Minx, Charlotte’s Chihuahua. I felt bad for Jax who was on the receiving end of Minx’s sharp teeth (Chihuahua’s may be small, but their teeth can do serious damage). Outmatched Witch can be read as a standalone if you are new to the series. Outmatched Witch is a spirited tale with an unforeseen visitor, malfunctioning magic, a mauling Minx, a mother conundrum, an acne calamity, and an indomitable matchmaker.

Deanna Chase did it again! Another wonderful story and a great addition to the Miss Matched Midlife Dating Agency series.

I loved everything about this book. The writing is flawless and it captured my attention right off that I finished it within 24 hours. I don't like giving away the storyline in my reviews and I'm not going to start. I can tell you that I have read all of Deanna's books and I highly recommend them.

Deanna has a way of pulling you into a story so that you are vested until the end. I still say that Hallmark should take a look at Deanna's books because they would make great movies. Speaking of movies, it was nice to read that some of the characters was to star in a movie that was based on another of Deanna's books, but it was cancelled because the star hurt himself. Oops I broke my own rule about giving away a storyline...my bad. I may be bad, but this book was amazing!

The characters are well thought out and even though you want to hate Marion's sister you can't because she grows on you. Showing up unannounced and then sponging off of Marion until she can find a job in Premonition Point. But they are half-sisters, same mother, so Marion really doesn't owe Charlotte anything, but she feels obligated.

I highly recommend if you like paranormal stories with witches. You won't be disappointed in this book, but you should read the first 2 books, it will make more sense.

No lie, I did NOT care for Charlotte when she first rolled into town with her free range style of...well, everything. She runs roughshod over Marion's objections, lets her dog run wild (in her sister's house!), and is just...meh. Basically, she drove me a little crazy and it bothered me in the beginning that both Marion and her father forgave her for her actions (both past and present) kind of easily.

That said, Charlotte grew on me. Given her parental issues (with her mom, not Marion's dad), I can understand her flightiness. And her barrel in there attitude with Marion. I didn't like it, but I can understand it.

She did complicate things for Marion, though. As in "oops, I accidentally unleashed a curse" sort of complicated. Since Marion is unable to let bad things happen when she can do something about it, soon she and Charlotte are trying to right said curse. She's also planning mixers for her matchmaking clients, trying to stay connected to Jax despite Charlotte's pup, and dealing with the aggravation of her mother being in town.

Yeah. Complicated. And a little messy. But Marion does what she needs to do and rushes in when someone needs saving. Throw in some coven time, some sex-ay shower shenanigans with her dude, and some grossly twisted things that need to be uncovered and, well, you've got a solid story. *thumbs up*

Marion Matched’s life was just starting to settle down quite comfortably after some pretty intense last few months. Her boyfriend finally convinced her to give their relationship a chance, her dad was happily involved with one of her neighbors, her business was recovering from recent bad press. Life was looking up. Then her long-lost sister Charlotte and her fire-cracker of a little diff show up to upset the apple cart.

Charlotte was freaking out. After following a love interest to Premonition Point, she accidentally curses a bar full of men with acne and ED while trying to cast a love spell. Unfortunately this wasn’t the first spell to go bad. Needing a place to stay to figure out what is wrong with her magic, Charlotte shows up at her half-sister’s door 10 years after walking away from the family.

Can Marion forgive her for walking away as well as help her with her magic? What does the mother that abandoned both of them have to do with their problems, if anything? Throw in a random visit from the Magical Task Force hunk, Bricks, and things really start getting interesting.

Marion & her sister and more

Her business is doing well, she has put her friendly ghost to work and all seems well...until
1) The men in town are all cursed but by who?
2) Her sister she hasn't seen in years shows up unannounced
3) Much more

It isn't that she doesn't love her sister Charlotte but she has good reason to resent her. Marion's boyfriend and sister's dog have issues, not to mention Charlotte needs help but isn't telling her why.

Besides the men's curses and Charlotte's unrevealed problem, their mother is adding to the secrets and problems. Not to men the witch authority might be adding one of them to witch jail. Problems professional and personal might be more than the coven can help with. Is there anyone to help her fix things?

A good mystery, magic issues, puppy issues and so much more. You'll be as busy as Marion and her friends to keep turning the pages trying to figure it all out. Another good one in the series. Enjoy.

Book 3 in the new series . Fantastic series!. Will have you glued
Marion gets a shock when her sister Charlotte shows up while she has people over. No warning, poof , she just shows up . Charlotte is running from something she was trying to do with her magic to catch a guys interest , but it backfired. Meanwhile Marion can’t see Auras anymore, but when Marion and Charlotte put there energy together and connect their magic , Marion is getting that magic back . Everything is starting to gel together, the only problem Marion has is Charlotte dog is acting up with Marion’s boyfriend Jax.
Charlotte disappears after a while , Marion can’t figure out why , Marion is wondering about the black magic and if Charlotte is mixed up with it .
Little does Marion know what’s holding Charlotte back.

Grab it and see the spell that is put on Charlotte and does Marion need to call the Magic Police for help

This was definitely a step up from the previous installment in the series. I enjoyed this one much more.
Marion's sister turns up after ten years of no contact, and Marion, being who she is, just accepts this and tries to get to know her sister. Charlotte had accidentally caused men in town some distress when a love spell backfired, so Marion assists in trying to fix the problem. When Charlotte disappears, Marion, with the help of some friends, hunts her down.
I liked the storyline here, it was interesting, and though there was little to do with match-making, it focuses more on Marion and her family which was nice. I wish there'd been a little more in the showdown at the end, but the ending itself has me thinking the next book will be a good one.

This book is about the relationship between Marion and her sister, Charlotte. They must work together to end a curse and cure the men of Premonition Pointe.

Family dynamics, trials and tribulations is a major part of this book (and wow on the family dynamics). Add in a little bit of the black arts and you have a great story. Loved the ending and can’t wait to see what happens next. My only question is really about Marion and Jax’s relationship. It is mentioned in every book that their auras do not match. I am anxiously waiting for the book that tells us why.

I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of this book.

When her sister Charlotte crashes back into her life, Marion is conflicted. Especially, when Charlotte's dog starts shredding her boyfriend Jax's pant leg. And, then things get really crazy! It seems that Charlotte also has had some problems with her magic as well, especially her curses. Can Marion save her sister and the men of Premonition Pointe?

I really enjoyed this story, we got to see more about Marion's Mom and you get a deeper understanding of her Dad. Also, the crazy chihuahua was the addition to the story that I did not realize that we needed. I can't wait until the next installment!

Returning to Premonition Pointe is always a fun time, but this one had me laughing a few times.
We follow Marion and this time we get to meet her sister, Charlotte. It was interesting to see their sibling interaction. Their relationship is tense and it was nice to see them repair it during the book. The plot and twist was good too!
The narrator, Gabra Zachman did a wonderful performance portraying Marion and many of the characters. I always enjoy her narration as she brings these characters to life.
If you enjoy a women’s paranormal fiction they will keep you entertained, grab this series!!

Excellent story about family and more. Such an incredible book where two sisters have a lot going between them besides being sisters. You have the mystery and the love but then you have Minx! Conquer Minx and things get better! A new pair of jeans, lol!
It is good versus evil or in this white magic versus black. There is an interesting twist to this but you will have to read the book the find out because spoilers can ruin an excellent book! Thank you, Deanna for writing such excellent stories!

Marion is back and she has her sister with her. And of course, Jax. Marion was a great addition to the Premonition Pointe gang. I love the fact that she's an older woman (as are the rest of the coven) it makes them all more relatable, except I'm not a witch. Well, most of the time. :)

Deanna Chase is an incredible writer who once again created a masterpiece. If you haven't checked out the Miss Matched Midlife Dating Agency books, I highly recommend them. I actually recommend all of her books. I think I've read them all and not one was a disappointment.

I've read nearly ever one of Ms Chase's books and it never ceases to amaze me how she can continue to weave fresh tales with wonderful characters that I always find so easy to relate to and am always enchanted by as I read. Her male characters are always smexy and strong, yet flawed. This story was nothing less than I have come to expect from her. Charlotte is quirky and nearly as great a read as Marion. Jaz is wonderful as he was in the first two books of the series and this town is fabulous! This series is for women of a certain age, but I think those younger can relate as well.

Miss Matched Life!

I’m loving this series!
This time Marion gets to deal with the whirlwind her sister showing up, not only that her mother too! On top of that someone has cursed several men of Premonition Pointe using some really dark magic, and the only way to reverse it is to work together with her sister…that she hasn’t seen in a decade. Will things work out the way Marion wants them to or will luck run out yet again and the Magical Task Force end up stepping in?
You’ll have to read it to find out

I really wanted to like this. I've liked most of the other books by Chase. This one was just too much for me to connect with. Estranged family members suddenly showing up after 10 years and within a day everything is wonderful, and life is golden? Seriously? Nothing on this one clicked with me. Over the top affection for the dog as well as black magic issues suddenly appearing. Nope, sorry this one just was too much. The end of the book did set up a good potential story line for future books.

I have completely, hopelessly, fallen in love with the Miss Matched Midlife Dating Agency series! Marion Match is in for quite a surprise when her long-lost sister appears on her doorstep, bringing with her an obnoxious (but loveable) dog Minx, and haywired magic. Marion is torn between helping her sister and trying to keep her own life and relationship on track. With twists and turns, blood family and made family, this story will keep you on your toes! Gabra Zackman once again brings every detail and emotion to life with her narrative.

I know when I read this author that I’m in for a good time, and I love that she’s got a series with the same main character. I love reading those types of series. Marion has an unexpected visitor who throws her life into so much chaos, and we learn more about their pasts. This was an exciting chase to find out what is going on in Marion’s town, and I love how the end changed things just a bit. I’m hoping this means this series will be around for a while with Marion and her crew. Great fun as usual. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Witchy with a side of kick a$$

Marion and her antics are always entertaining. Anytime you add Jax to the mix you know the steam isn't only from the shower. Throw in Marion's sister Char, her terror chi-chi Minx, and a long lost mother and drama is sure to unfold. Characters from the other books return for star power and the coven is involved too. If you are looking for passion, action, and sisterly snark look no further than Outmatched.

This is a great book to the new series. I think Premonition Pointe is growing so fast you may need to refresh some of your memory. I was happy with the way this story was told. Marion gets a surprise visit from her sister. I know I was all in watching how this relationships was going to unfold. There was never a moment that I thought I had things figured all the way out. LOL. The end took me by the feelings. Glad at the way it was ended and think the twist set us up for the next book.

Poor Marion nothing ever seems easy for her! Charlotte her estranged sister shows up in town and accidently releases a horrible curse on the men of Premonition Pointe . ED and Acne.. poor guys! As Marion and Charlotte become stronger as sisters the town is not happy and Miss Matched could be ruined. I love this series and every book is an adventure! Can't wait for the next book! Please keep them coming!

Read 95% of Deannas’ literature. She’s an amazing creative writer. This new series is interesting but there’s something missing in the ‘catch’. Main characters; Marion, Jax, Ty, Kennedy and this book introduces Charlotte are all interesting. In the other books I’d read the book in 2 sittings. No TV or podcasts for me. Reading distracts me. Healthcare has changed. Reading creative fiction soothes my soul.

An estranged sister, crazy curses, wonky magic and the magical task force? Yep, a phenomenal story in the making!
I do not give spoilers, so don’t pout, but you won’t be sorry you got this book. If you haven’t read the others of this series, you don’t have to but it does make the story richer and gives more depth to some of the characters.
I know who my faves are and I can’t wait to see who everyone else chooses. Definitely add this one to your collection, I did.

Audiobook: An entertaining and interesting audiobook adventure. Sisters reunite but all is not as it should be. Plenty of light action and mystery along with a few shower scenes make for an excellent listen. The narrator did a great job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Great story in this continuing series. Each book is a stand alone as it is a complete story but greater understanding is achieved by reading the books in order. This is the third book in the series.

Marion's sister shows up unexpectedly and Marion isn't too thrilled about it. But when Charlotte confesses her magic is broken and she somehow cursed all the men hanging out Hallucinations, the local bar, and needs help, Marion can't help but say yes.

Really enjoyed this book! Marion's sister, Charlotte, comes back to town to make amends. Marion is suspicious until she gets to know her sister a little and her dad asks her to give Charlotte a chance. When Marion finds out about Charlotte accidentally cursing a bar full of men they decide they need to try to fix it. Their mother shows up and things get really interesting! This was such a good book and I am loving this series!

Curses and complicated relationships

When Marian's estranged sister shows up on her doorstep, they form a stronger sister bond despite issues with wonky cursed magic and Charlotte's overprotective dog going after Jax. I love the relationship building in each book, the stories show the strength in the bonds of both family by blood and family by choice.

What an adventure!

Marion Matched loves her new life. Well, except maybe the danger involved. She is passionate about finding love matches for her clients. The Magical Task Force has asked her to consult on cases. Too much family re-enters her life with issues.
Things are settling with the sisters. What can possibly happen next?
