With her new dating agency business starting to take off in Premonition Pointe, Marion Matched is busier than ever. Between yoga classes, her budding romance, and the ghost who won’t stop haunting her, Marian can’t seem to find time to get her hair colored and her upper lipped waxed for the upcoming wedding of her two favorite clients. Whoever said women should grow older gracefully never had to deal with patchy gray roots or whiskers that are stiff enough to cut someone. But all of her grooming worries vanish when the bride suddenly goes AWOL. Now Marion finds herself in the middle of literal witch hunt with the bride’s surly brother-in-law to be, while a bad actor seems to be sabotaging the lives of her friends and family. With everything falling apart around her, Marion will need all the help she can get from the Premonition Pointe coven, her resident ghost, and an untrustworthy new acquaintance to find her friend before she disappears forever.

The adventure is amped up in this installment and I’m so happy to see that it continues on with Marion and her family.
Several years ago Marion helped a woman escape a horrible marriage. Fast forward many years later, Marion discovers that the lady she helped so long ago may not have been so innocent after all. Marion must learn to listen to her intuition while trying to balance her romance, and her family.
The book is filled with magic, deception, and twists! I absolutely loved it! The narrator Gabra Zachman has a pleasant voice to listen to. The variety of tones and inflections used were great. I was able to distinguish the voices as the series progressed.
If you enjoy women’s fiction + hocus pocus + mystery, I highly recommend this series.

Searching for the Truth . . .

When Marion Matched's friend and former client of her Miss Matched Midlife Dating Agency turns out to be missing, it is time to go hunting for her. Hollister Crooner had uncomfortably ventured into a male strip show during a bachelorette party to tell Marion that his brother’s fiancée, Kiera Vincent, was missing. Did she run away? Was she kidnapped? With an abusive ex to worry about, that’s a distinct possibility. Luckily Marion’s friends, the Premonition Pointe coven, and her ghost “employee” Celia, are always there to help. Even the impatient Hollister will join them. Can they find Kiera before harm comes to her? Will someone betray them?

This author always gives us an amazing story. Right from the start, it begins with a bang and keeps racing along, carrying the excited reader through the non-stop action scenes. Even better, you will feel like you are right there experiencing the chaos. Grab your copy and enjoy the relationships of the characters as both friend and foe are introduced.

Wow this one was excitement plus!
Marion Matched certainly has her hands full, luckily she has a gorgeous man behind her, her family and of course the coven those gals will always have Marion’s back.
So we have a runaway bride? Or was she abducted hmmmm the plot thickens…
The plot continued to twist and turn in magical ways that left me on the very edge of my seat.
This one is a thrilling emotional rollercoaster.
I’d also say it’s a ‘must read’ but I think that with every single Deanna Chase book.

Honor Bound Witch by Deanna Chase was a one of those stories that started with a bang and only slowed down a few times to allow the reader to catch their breath and learn more about the characters. Magic, mayhem, action and some steamy romance filled the story from beginning to end.

This was an audio review of book#2 in the Miss Matched Midlife Dating series. With her new business taking off Marion is busier than ever. When a former client/friend goes missing. With the help of family, friends, and a ghost. They go looking for her. This book is one that will keep you on your toes.

Oh my this was freaking amazing

The second book in the Miss Matched Midlife Dating Agency, I think it was better than the first one and I loved that one! I have been reading Deanna Chase's books for years now and they never seem to disappoint me...I always fall in love with them. And this one was freaking amazing. If you like action, adventure, twists and witches...you will LOVE this series. Deanna's writing just flows there is never a boring moment in her books. She just has a way to pull you into a story and it's like you are there watching everything unfold.

Honor-bound Witch is an amazing story....it is a rollercoaster ride that you don't want to get off. Marion finds herself in the middle of a witch hunt. She is hunting for a long time friend who disappears without a trace. She leaves everything behind so that is harder to find her...did she run on purpose or was she abducted?? That is what Marion has to find out with the help of her coven and her friends soon to be brother-in-law. Plenty of action in this book and Marion also has to deal with her son's boyfriend who feels like he has to move out of Marion's garage apartment when her son takes a job in Los Angeles. Never a dull moment for Marion.

Highly recommend Honor-bound Witch but if you haven't read Star-crossed Witch, the first in the series then you need to get it as well. I highly recommend both books. And if you have Kindle Unlimited all of Deanna's books are part of the package. Run don't walk to your nearest library, bookstore or computer...you won't be sorry!!

Only thing I regret is that I can't rate this higher than 5 stars! Her books deserve a high rating. And what about the beautiful cover! Simply amazing!

My special thanks to Deanna Chase for allowing me to read an advanced digital copy of this book. I was under no obligation to leave a review but how could I not...these are my words and my words only!!

Deanna Chase nailed this one! Marion Matched is the perfect example of both having honor and being honorable and as a Matchmaker. she has to be even more scrupulous and careful with so many lives in her hands. This book has a bit of everything you have come to expect of a Deanna Chase book, mayhem, emotions that are strong and from all the characters not just the MC's. By now, you know my reviews well enough to know I don't give any spoilers or hints but I will give my honest thoughts about the book. I found this to be a keeper and will be such a great addition to my collections. You will discover there is intrigue, mystery and enough action to keep those busier minds sated as well. This is the second in a series, not a stand alone and I would recommend both reading Star Crossed Witch first but even reading the Premonition Pointe series for a better look at the world building and back stories of the Coven cast. This is definitely one of those one sitting reads, well it was for me, anyway. The women are intelligent and self supporting, men are hot and know what they are doing (wink wink) and the characters both established and new were a joy to meet and or reconnect with! I confess, I am on pins and needles to see where the author takes us with the next one in the series. Fair warning, NOT for Minors.

Honor-Bound Witch by Deanna Chase is the second book in the Miss Matched Midlife Dating Agency. I do recommend reading Star-Crossed Witch first (it provides needed background information on Marion). I like Deanna Chase’s writing style. It makes her stories easy to read. Marion finds herself searching for a friend with a troubled past. Kennedy, Ty’s boyfriend, ends up in a spot of trouble. It seems trouble is the name of the game with many of Marion’s friends and loved ones experiencing it. Marion’s magic is changing as well. Honor-Bound Witch has mystery, intrigue, and suspense. I enjoyed the hunt for Marion’s missing friend (I love solving mysteries). The book does contain foul language and intimate situations. The book starts off with a bang with a bachelorette party at a male strip club (men showing off their oiled muscles with the bump and grind). Marion’s ghost employee is humorous at times (I am not a fan of her ribald remarks). The ending was unexpected and will have you wondering what will happen in Outmatched Witch. Honor-Bound Witch is an intriguing tale with an absent betrothed, a blue blade, an indomitable brother, magical chaos, and an unforeseen visitor.

At an engagement party for Lennon Love, Marion Matched finds out that her dear friend, Keara has gone missing, when a mysterious stranger crashes the party. Keara, who has been on the run from an abusive ex swore Marion that if she ever went missing that she could never go to the "authorities" aka The Magical Task Force. Can Marion find her friend?

This is the second book in the Miss Matched series which is an off-shoot of the Premonition Point series and has the same coven, even if they are in more secondary positions. In many ways, this is the best of both worlds, as you have a strong heroine who is not perfect, but who would do anything for her friends. Plus, we get to stay with her and check in on our old friends from Premonition Point. Ms. Chase excels in writing friendships that you didn't know you needed in your life and this series is no exception.

I enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next one. I received an advanced copy of this book and am leaving the review voluntarily.

Things are getting complicated for Marion and her friends in Premonition Pointe, but the matchmaking witch doesn't let that slow her down. Well, I mean, maybe it slows her down a little, but she's mostly full steam ahead. It helps that she has a supportive boyfriend, a growing family, and a coven of witches at her back.

On the downside, Jax is busy trying to figure out what's going on with his business, her (mostly) adopted son is having relationship issues, and there are more than a few shady characters lurking around the periphery. Also, her matchmaking magic is on the fritz. Or gone entirely. Or evolving? I don't know. Regardless, Marion has to matchmake the old fashioned way on top of figuring out her new abilities.

A little danger, a mama bear in full-on protective mode, dangerous magic, a missing bride, and a lady who isn't going to let a pesky thing like changing magic stop her from helping someone who needs her. Here's to more matchmaking adventures with Marion!

Marion has got her new matchmaking business up and running. She seems to be doing good for all the trouble she was put through in the first book. She has a wedding to attend from matching two of her clints. She is involved in so much around town. She has friends that have her back and a new romance that seems to be all fire. You would think everything was going to be smooth from here on out.

Nope, runaway bride has to take the lead in this show. Marion needs to find her and get this back on track. When she found out it was an old clint that took the bride. Well let's say there was some unhappy witches.

I really liked everything about this book. There was a lot going on. But, you were able to keep up. This author has always been one of my favorites. I think this new series is going to be a fun read. I always look forward to her new books.

Marion Matched has been learning to cope with her loss of seeing auras caused by a curse. Her other senses are improving, however, and she is learning to rely on those senses. Things are settling down now that her father has moved out and in with her aunt. Her love life with Jax is going well. Things are looking up especially when her "son" Ty shows up with a friend in tow to stay with her for a while. Then a stranger shows up at Lenon Love's bachelorette party and Marion is pulled into a search that could end up putting everyone she loves in danger, as well as make her question her own abilities. She will have to decide whether or not to trust what she has always believed about a dear friend's past and what the Magical Task Force is telling her.

A great second entry into the Miss Matched Midlife Dating Agency series.

Audio book review

This is the second book in the Miss Matched Midlife Dating Agency. And once again Deanna ( the author ) wrote a story that will have you listing till the end . Highly recommend Honor-bound Witch It will have you twisting and turning your head and heart with each scene . This story involves Marion. Lots go on with Marion. Her friend has disappeared, was she abducted or did she go somewhere of her own free will . Marian is in a situation herself. Actually 2 situations both stressful. Grab the audio and find out how Marion finds happiness from a moment of live challenges .

The performance of Gabra Zackman was outstanding. Her voice brought the characters and scenes to life ,
I highly recommend this story and hopefully can’t wait for book 3

While I love this author’s books with a different couple each book in a series, I especially love when she has a series based around just one character or two characters. This is the second book in the series, and I’m so excited to see the same person: Marion Matched. In this latest, romance takes a little bit of a backseat to a suspense-filled mystery of sorts, but don’t get me wrong. There is still the family-oriented, romance we’ve come to expect. I loved this latest, and I can’t wait to see what comes next for Marion, Jax, Kennedy, her dad…oh, just everyone! Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Marion is still working to build her matchmaking business. It seems when she loses one magic ability another takes its place and she's going to need all the help she can get. Interrupted wedding, kidnapped or just missing friends, family problems, surprises galore, add some steam, and good friends to help and you got another winner read from the author.

I love seeing the support from her love and witch friends and family as well as the new characters that she isn't sure are good or bad. Will her new abilities help her rescue those people close to her and deal with the bad magics long needing brought to light and made to pay?

It's a mystery

The plot of this book is entirely looking for the missing friend. Jax is still around, and there are a couple sex scenes, but there are no problems in their relationship, and he's too busy to help. As a matter of fact, Matched is completely on her own for most of the book as her friends and family find themselves distracted.

This book is devoid of romance, so the mystery plot has to hold it up. It was good enough that I finished the book, but not so good that I never wondered why I was still reading it. The book was just okay. I don't feel like I need to continue the series.

A wonderful read! This is book 2 in the Miss Matched Midlife Dating Agency, and while it can be read alone, I personally think it is much better read in order, because you can watch the characters grow and catch up on their lives. I absolutely delighted in following Marion as she tries to find her missing friend. This story has a little bit of everything; mystery, humor, romance, magic, action, and friends that will do anything to help each other. It has truly become one of my favorite new series. Miss Chase keeps us entertained and enthralled with Marion's story and Miss Zackman brings the characters personalities to life perfectly! Very much looking forward to book 3.

I have to admit that I am a huge fan of Deanna Chase's writing. I love all of her books and this one was no exception. They always have lots of love, romance, friendship, some mystery, everything that makes for a great book. Marion & Jax's story was an excellent addition to the Miss Matched Midlife Dating Agency and it made me excited for Outmatched Witch, next month.

I highly recommend not only this book but all of Deanna's books. If you haven't read any yet, check them out. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Audiobook: Book 2 in the Miss Matched Midlife Dating series is as interesting and entertaining as the first book. A mystery involving a former client takes precedence while dealing with other day to day life and family. The banter is funny and the story is interesting, engaging, & mysterious. The narrator did a good job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

When a friend of Marion's goes missing and she is asked to help find her friend things get crazy. Marion wants to do everything she can to find her friend and she gets warnings to back off. Finally when she realizes that she may not be able to help her friend and is about to quit looking her son's friend gets kidnapped. This book was really interesting! Love Ceila and how funny she can be. Ceila is good at getting information. Marion has some great friends. I really enjoyed this book! I am enjoying this series!!

High Flying Adventure In Premonition Pointe!

I loved the action & adventure throughout the book. There are a lot of characters and information making you wonder about how the plot will develop which I really enjoyed. There were some definite unsavory characters which was unexpected but turned out ok in the end. The final chapter REALLY set up the next book in the series with Marion and her estranged sister which I can’t wait to delve into next!

This book was totally not what I expected. When you have a book called the Miss Matched Midlife Dating Agency, missing people, evil spells and attempted murder is not what you expect to read about. But…

This book was so good I read it in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down. Looking forward to seeing what trouble the next book brings.

I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of this book.

Ooh my, when I started reading Honor Bound Witch little did I know that I would be sucked right in immediately!! The story starts full of action and doesn’t stop. You meet some new characters & still get to spend a little time with The Coven. Marion is on her game!!
I received an ARC of this book & this review is my personal opinion!

It was ok

The plot is good, but oh my goodness the main character, Marion, can't seem to decide if she's a strong confident woman, or a bubble head. If you don't mind that, you will be fine with this book. Hoping Marion is able to solve her identity crisis in the next book as I'd like to continue on with her story.

What can I say? I'm just a big fan of Ms Chase. Her books are always so enchanting to me. I get sucked into her worlds from word one and always have such a hard time putting her books down. This one was no different. I love Premonition Cove. This little runaway bride tale kept me glued to my kindle reading late into the night and brought out all the feels. Another hit and must read from Ms Chase!

Fantastic

I thought this story was fantastic and loved every single word. The action in this one was simply incredible. I loved how it gave her a new perspective to her magic and it was good to see that it ended with some mystery. I do have to say I missed that the coven was not in this one as much, but I understand this is more about Marion than the coven.

The second book in the series is even better than the first. Marion searches for the soon to be bride from a match she made. The situation is tricky as Marion has been given secret information from the brides past which she can’t reveal.

We’re taken on a mystery with Marion and friends as she tries to find her old friend.

Once you start you won’t want to put it down!

Time could be a difficult mistress as people live their lives and evolve

Whew! Out of one mess and jumping right in to the next. That seems to be Marion Matcheds' new life in Premonition Pointe. Lots of family is involved in this portion of the series. Do they all have special skills? Read this book for some hilarious Celia, kidnapping and adventure!

I liked the first in this series, but I'm sorry to say I didn't love this one. It felt like a lot was going on, and the series is the Midlife Dating Agency series but there are few dating agency aspects to the plot.
I enjoyed seeing the other coven members in the story, and the magical parts, it just wasn't a winner overall for me.
