An aspiring travel photographer working hard to make a name for himself, Ethan Stone has the heart of a dreamer. While on assignment in Vietnam, he is trapped by a clandestine underworld run by an enigmatic man that no one has ever met. Ethan finds he must transform himself into a cold blooded killer or face the wrath of "The Fat Man". On one level, More than Ashes is a journey into the mind of a killer, and the heart of a dreamer. Ultimately, More than Ashes becomes a powerful and personal journey of self discovery.
I wrote More than Ashes, this is my first novel, so my review won't be very objective! I consider it to be a cross between Kesey, Grisham, and Francis Ford Coppola. Please tell me what you think!
