3.75 stars. I enjoyed it, though, not being a business nor accounting major, some of the descriptions in those areas went over my head a little. Still, it was a page turner and kept my interest especially as it came to resolution in the final chapters. Also of note, the author is a professor at St. John’s University (MN).

It has it all - a love story, murder, financials crimes and more. This will appeal to all CPAs, auditors, investor relations professionals and anyone who likes a good mystery.

Read this book in one sitting while procrastinating studying for an accounting final! Full of all the right stuff: action, mystery, romance, and relatable, well-developed characters. Can't wait for the next Johnnie Fitch novel.
