I must admit that I have read pretty much everything that this author has Published. …….. So by saying that, I have always enjoyed Julie Capulet’s books and how She creates loveable and sexy amazing characters, you know I’m sincere

Well, let’s just basically say that Elias is every woman’s dream romance hero. I mean, come on What woman doesn’t fantasize about having a drop-dead gorgeous, sexy, elite football hero who is completely lovestruck with her, and that has heart of gold ………. I just love this off-limits restricted love. Stories. Yes, I said Stories.
He has always been popular. High school was an endless procession of giggling girls trying to get his attention. As for college, his teammates call him the Chick Magnet. For the first three years at Hawthorne, Elias made the most of his superstar-on-the-rise status. As the starting quarterback for the Hawthorne Wildcats, everyone on this campus not only knows who he is but seems to want a piece of him as well. Not that he would complain…….. Until recently Elias, He just no longer could connect with all the females falling all over him … Maybe it’s the plastic eyelashes, or maybe it was all the Phony Conversations. or maybe it might have been the overload of cheap perfume. Or maybe it was the fact that half of the female that approached him just seemed like they only wanted him for his body. Irony ain’t it
For some time now Elas has been in a funk. Or more like monk-like tendencies……. He wanted something real; he wanted that connection. Elias was craving more than a meaningless one-night stand……That one person that he could love forever. Yeah. For a college senior that sounds pretty mushy. But that was his life right now.
Zara, the past two years have been hard. High school was mostly about coping and making sure her dad wasn’t falling off the deep-end of his own sorrow.
This year was her freshman year in college. But she wanted to enjoy the whole college experience by living in the dorm on campus and going to all the parties and so on, but know that she can still go home once a week. It’s the best of both worlds, with her. Childhood home. Just miles away.
Zara's character was written, as quite sweet and somewhat shy young woman, yeah Zara was one those girl’s that was a solitary hermit with paint-splattered clothes and a messy bun…….. yeah I loved Zara’s Personality.
I just loved all the back stories of the other Characters …….. Please tell me that we might see future books with Gabe, Jake and West

Lovestruck is a stand alone romance by Julie Capulet. No one writes instalove like Julie Capulet and this one was wonderful. I love when their eyes first meet, hearts stop beating, and maybe the earth even tilts a little off it’s axis for just a moment! All of that happened when these two first met, and in that instant, lives were forever changed.
Elias O’Shea is a senior at Hawthorne University. He is the star quarterback that hopes that this year he’ll take his team all the way to the championship. He’s like a celebrity on campus and for the first three years of college, he enjoyed that status with plenty of one night stands. But, for the last six months, he just hasn’t been interested. He needs more. He wants to find his other half, just like his parents had. And, just a couple of days before their first game of the season, he’s walking off the field and there she is. He’s speechless, spellbound, and completely overcome. It’s her. And then she walked over to the coach, kissed him on the cheek, and called him dad!
Zara Fox is a freshman art student. Painting has always been her passion since she was old enough to hold a brush. She’s so excited to start this new chapter of her life. Zara and her dad are close. Zara is also a bit of an introvert, preferring to spend her time painting. So, she’s never even dated before. Her father’s number one rule is no football players, ever! It’s something he has pounded into her brain forever. The night she walked on to the field to meet her dad, she saw him. He was so beautiful. But she’s heard about his reputation with the women! She still can’t help but to feel whatever this feeling is that seems to be coursing between them. He’s a star football player. She’s a paint speckled nobody. It might just be her imagination, right?!
These two were adorable together. Elias was nothing but determined to make sure Zara saw things his way. And I loved that all of Zara’s hesitations were for Elias. I love Elias’s name by the way. I even love his last name. I have always loved instalove. And Julie’s books always just get me. Her heroes are always so swoony. Elias was a man who would do whatever it took to win his woman. And Zara was a woman who would do whatever it took to protect her man. You can’t go wrong with characters like that!

FINALLY I GET TO READ THIS AMAZING ROMANTIC LOVE STORY EVER FROM ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHOR ❤️ If you can see my reviews lately that i had been reading such a bad love story novels that made me have a headache 🫠 Like literally a headache…
So when i got this book as a ARC cause I actually waited for this book it just made my day so much when i got it🥺🥺 Like finally a great romance! AND IT IS A GREAT ROMANCE 🥺
I LOVE IT WHEN THE HERO PURSUE THE HEROINE SO BADLY SINCE HE FIRST SAW HER ❤️❤️❤️❤️ And not only that, but when he first saw her like he will is wiling to do anything to be with her… ANYTHING ❤️❤️❤️
Even though i got this as a ARC from the author but i’m still honest with my review. Even the last book from the author, i am honest with it and the author have no problem with me… So that’s great 🥺❤️ I love you author!
OKAY BACK TO THE BOOK.
THE STORY STARTS with the hero is the famous quarterback in campus. The hero lives at the house in campus with his 3 best friends who is also a football player like him. The hero strangely for months like 6 months, he was feeling like something is missing… He feels like all the girls that offer to him so easily was not worth it so he shut them out for six months… Like literally he really doesn’t even let those woman touch him… He feels like now is the time that he is looking for more. It’s time for him to want more… We can see in the beginning that the hero describes his past life and how he’s been feeling lately about the whole football and even meet someone from his one night stand BUT THIS IS BEFORE THE HEROINE EVEN SHOWS UP OKAY. The hero even was imagining his dream girl that one day can show up so she can end his miserable feeling lately of need something more… The next day at practice the hero was talking to his friend and he saw someone. Someone he described as “Angelic” ❤️ And yes that is the heroine… Since then he never take his eyes off her and even got so jealous over his friend who is talking to the beautiful angelic heroine 🥺❤️ Even when he knows that the heroine is the coach’s daughter, that doesn’t stop him for pursuing her… That doesn’t stop or change his obsession for her…

He takes off his jacket and wraps it around my shoulders. “No way in hell.” 🤣😆

The way the hero pursue the heroine and wants her so badly is like she’s the air that he needs to breathe…. I LOVE EVERY SCENE OF IT 🥺❤️ He loves to spoiled the heroine so much with flowers and everything which is super cute🥺 Not just flowers but A LOT OF FLOWERS!!!!

There are so many similarities between me and the heroine like oh… The heroine have a close relationship with her dad and her sister which is so cute. Also she’s very friendly…

I LOVE IT WHEN THE HERO PURSUE THE HEROINE SO BADLY SINCE HE FIRST SAW HER ❤️❤️❤️❤️ And not only that, but when he first saw her like he will is wiling to do anything to be with her… ANYTHING ❤️❤️❤️

OKAY BACK TO THE BOOK.
THE STORY STARTS with the hero is the famous quarterback in campus. The hero lives at the house in campus with his 3 best friends who is also a football player like him. The hero strangely for months like 6 months, he was feeling like something is missing… He feels like all the girls that offer to him so easily was not worth it so he shut them out for six months… Like literally he really doesn’t even let those woman touch him… He feels like now is the time that he is looking for more. It’s time for him to want more… We can see in the beginning that the hero describes his past life and how he’s been feeling lately about the whole football and even meet someone from his one night stand BUT THIS IS BEFORE THE HEROINE EVEN SHOWS UP OKAY. The hero even was imagining his dream girl that one day can show up so she can end his miserable feeling lately of need something more… The next day at practice the hero was talking to his friend and he saw someone. Someone he described as “Angelic” ❤️ And yes that is the heroine… Since then he never take his eyes off her and even got so jealous over his friend who is talking to the beautiful angelic heroine 🥺❤️ Even when he knows that the heroine is the coach’s daughter, that doesn’t stop him for pursuing her… That doesn’t stop or change his obsession for her…

I know, I absolutely know that I am on an island on this one. I've read a lot of reviewers I've admired absolutely enjoy the fuck out of this one BUT reading the Lovestruck sneak-peek at the end of the republished Hopeless Romantic made me feel so sad for Zara. 😢
I am however glad to see some ARC reviews who I respect/admire enjoy this one. I feel like releases lately have been trash for everyone lately. Something must be in the air because a lot of people are disappointed with the release landscape lately.😐
Even if we don't agree a lot of those reviews actually made me smile so :) If you liked this one, that's good because I think Elias' friends are getting a story so much more development in the JC universe.

The 1st chapter is just him going on and on about an "endless bonanza of one-night, sometimes two-night, and (twice) three night stands." Is it supposed to make us feel better that he was only celibate for 6 months?? Zara HAS NEVER EVEN BEEN KISSED but Elias has had MULTIPLE THREESOMES WITH GRIDIRON GROUPIES!!!
Everything they ever did together, I just kept picturing him doing with hundreds of OW and it left a sour taste in my mouth. All of his dialogue just felt like shit a frat boy say to charm his way into your pants for a few hours.
His transformation from an unrepentant red pill manwhore to a devoted partner for Zara was ENTIRELY unbelievable considering by his own admission that he's only ever viewed women as objects to be used by him and his teammates.
Sure, he ended up not having a threesome with Bella and "whatsherface" when they came up to his apartment but he said if it was even 6 months ago he definitely would have. Why must all women outside of the heroine only exist to serve one purpose in the Julie Capulet universe????
Women can still have value and be worthy of a HEA even if they have had sex before. This whole virgin x manwhore thing is so played out and to be honest, very lazy writing.
Outside of Bo + Millie, Capulet has never been brave enough to develop writing a hero who doesn't view all women like an easy fuck or like they are god's gift to womenkind. Which is quite sad because I think a lot of readers would actually enjoy more of that romantic connective tissue that can be there between a heroine and a hero who actually likes/respects women and doesn't just enjoy having sex with female anatomy.
If you write that manwhores who ONLY use women only for their bodies deserve at HEA, surely you could write women who have a healthy relationship with the opposite sex to have one too? No? Okay.
Why must the heroines always just sit around in romantic and sexual ISOLATION while the heroes quite literally run around partying and fucking OW, to the point where multiple Capulet h's are confronted with the numerous OW that their H's have fucked. I'm looking at you Vaughn and GIGI.
It seems unnecessarily cruel to the heroines and too much forced "purity culture". None of the Capulet heroes ever have to suffer so much humiliation that their counterparts do. It seems like a glorification of their insecurities and their discomfort/pain.

But he has no idea what’s happening to me right now. He’s never known what it feels like to wait. He’s a guy who’s slept his way through high school and now college.”
At the very least they are incompatible on their values. Where Elias has such a different perspective on sex to the point where casually sleeping his way through high school and college was never an issue for him. My question is, how could they ever possibly have the same connection or understanding when it comes to intimacy if Elias was one to literally dick down any woman who threw him so much as a loaded glance???
Zara has literally never even been kissed but Elias was afforded the whole high school and college experience fucking OW while she lived in romantic and sexual isolation just what, waiting for a mythical "him"?? While she's just one in a long line of MANY.
It would be different if he had a high school gf who he lost his virginity to or a college gf who he wasn't that serious with or something but to write him has just another man who's only relationship with women extends to the few hours he spends between their legs is CHEAP. It's also misogynistic AF to write secondary women as just to be used for the sexual gratification for the heroes and his friends or as jealous/catty women for the heroine to be jealous of/ feel insecure of.
It means that in Capulet's writing, women only existed to him to SERVE his pleasure. Nothing more. How can Capulet with a straight face say that he's even capable of being a romantic if up until that very point, women only served ONE purpose in his life and that he only had women in his life (bed) only to enjoy them physically?
Also the way the H and his friends talk about women is so gross. Gabe and Elias realize that Zara is off limits so the whole group (Jake and West) included decide that he needs someone to "tide him over" until its safe for him to make his move. As if women are interchangable and a receptacle for their dicks while they take care of business on the field. ICK.

🌟1.5/5 Elias' transformation and his devotion to Zara was just completely unbelievable. It just seemed like she was a shiny new toy that had only been played with by him and the novelty was in the fact that he was "her first" while she was probably in his thousandth. The connection was just super cheap and I was surprised at how much I hated Elias and his inner POV. Which is surprising because I eventually grew to like Gage from Arrogant Player who was arguably one of the worst Capulet heroes, but at least he was remorseful of the way he treated women prior to meeting Luna.
Anyway, all this to say I just don't think JC is for me anymore but I do love both Hopeless Romantic and Score but I don't see her ever getting rid of the manwhore heroes which is disappointing.

My question is, how could they ever possibly have the same connection or understanding when it comes to intimacy if Elias was one to literally dick down any woman who threw him so much as a loaded glance???
Zara has literally never even been kissed but Elias was afforded the whole high school and college experience fucking OW while she lived in romantic and sexual isolation just what, waiting for a mythical "him"?? While she's just one in a long line of MANY.
It would be different if he had a high school gf who he lost his virginity to or a college gf who he wasn't that serious with or something but to write him has just another man who's only relationship with women extends to the few hours he spends between their legs is CHEAP. It's also misogynistic AF to write secondary women as just to be used for the sexual gratification for the heroes and his friends or as jealous/catty women for the heroine to be jealous of/ feel insecure of.
It means that in Capulet's writing, women only existed to him to SERVE his pleasure. Nothing more. How can Capulet with a straight face say that he's even capable of being a romantic if up until that very point, women only served ONE purpose in his life and that he only had women in his life (bed) only to enjoy them physically?
Also the way the H and his friends talk about women is so gross. Gabe and Elias realize that Zara is off limits so the whole group (Jake and West) included decide that he needs someone to "tide him over" until its safe for him to make his move. As if women are interchangable and a receptacle for their dicks while they take care of business on the field. ICK.

🌟1.5/5 Elias' transformation and his devotion to Zara was just completely unbelievable. It just seemed like she was a shiny new toy that had only been played with by him and the novelty was in the fact that he was "her first" while she was probably in his thousandth. The connection was just super cheap and I was surprised at how much I hated Elias and his inner POV. Which is surprising because I eventually grew to like Gage from Arrogant Player who was arguably one of the worst Capulet heroes, but at least he was remorseful of the way he treated women prior to meeting Luna.
Anyway, all this to say I just don't think JC is for me anymore but I do love both Hopeless Romantic and Score but I don't see her ever getting rid of the manwhore heroes which is disappointing.

An epic love story.
Julie writes romance, but every book seems to be more impressive then the last. Loved this story and the slow burn between Zara and Elias. It is a beautiful story, the losses they both have in their respective families and how they care for one another. This is one epic love story. Can’t wait to see the next books about the supporting characters; Gabe, Jake and West. Brilliant characterizations. Smoking hot scenes between Zara and Elias- loved their connection, it was beyond physical.

I have always loved Julie Capulet's writing and this book wasn't the exception. I always had this certain connection with her books that makes me feel like her writing is meant for me. Comparing to her previous works, I can say that this wasn't as steamy as her other ones but still, she delivered. I loved Elias O'Shea as a Hero, he's a hot superstar football athlete that is very swoony, dreamy, possessive, obsessed BASICALLY EVERYTHING I WANT in a romance Hero. I also liked how Zara's character was written, she's quiet, distant yet very loving and will pursue what she wants, she's also a very talented painter. Their chemistry was literally ON FIRE and the spicy scenes were still HOT despite it's quantity. And can we talk about the bromance between Gabe, West, Elias and Jake? Gahh! I'm so excited to read their books... If you read this book, you know the next one is Jake and Isla which I'm very excited about! I liked this for the most part. It’s cute and well-written. Nothing overly offensive or angsty. I love college sport romance, and that shined in this. I would have preferred some actual OW drama here. it seemed a little unrealistic that his past didn’t cause them problems. The only issues they faced was his past making her dad think that the H wasn’t worthy of her or serious about her. Anyway… this was a fun safe read but not the most memorable. I was getting annoyed that the story didn’t seem to be going anywhere until the 2nd half.

Julie Capulet is the only author who makes me enjoy books with insta love and have a good time while reading them, but I think Lovestruck is a little different from what I have read from the author so far: the story of Elias & Zara is much deeper in the plot of each one and the aspects that both have in common. Also, the secondary characters in this book were incredible, and I NEED this to become a series to find out what is going to happen between Isla & Jake, with Gabe and West too.🙏
Elias is the first character we meet in this book, and I have to say that I fell in love with him immediately, the love he has for his father, for football and the way in which all of that unites them was very tender and moving. I also think that the friendship he shares with Gabe, Jake & West is one of the best I've ever read because these four are fun, they support each other unconditionally and the love they have for each other is there always. The only thing I think failed with this character is that I don't see him as the romantic that the blurb tells us, I think he is a boy who falls madly in love with Zara at first sight and is willing to risk EVERYTHING for her and that despite his reputation as a womanizer in Hawthorne, when he falls in love he truly commits with her and I liked that
Zara is the daughter of the Hawthorne Coach, an introverted, sweet artist, who loves her father, constantly worries about his happiness and who, together with her family, has faced a great loss, she's also a girl who is on her path to be an artist with her own style and comes to Hawtorne with the determination to achieve her goals. I loved reading Zara, I LOVED that she knew when to be strong and show her character, that she found in Isla a loyal friend, who encourages her to push her limits and who is always there when she needs her, and she entering so naturally into the group of boys was the icing on the cake.
The love story between Elias & Zara has a lot of insta love and a little bit of forbidden love because Zara is the daughter of Elias' Coach and is totally off limits, BUT Zara's dad prohibited her from getting involved with his players, so everything is even more complicated for these two, but I loved the way Julie carried their story: I especially LOVED that the author showed us the moment in which Zara & Elias meet from the perspective of both, that they both have a very strong bond with their parents, that they both know the grief and that they have left their own choices a little aside to keep them happy because they love them, plus, I think that Elias is a hero who carries the trope of the boy obsessed with the girl very well, he's tender, sweet and does everything to support her and help her fulfill her dreams, even though it doesn't drive me crazy that he does it without consulting Zara, and when things get complicated for him Zara is there to support him, to try to solve their problems and to give him the strength he needs.

Además, los personajes secundarios de este libro fueron increibles, y NECESITO que esto se convierta en una serie para saber qué va a pasar entre Isla & Jake, con Gabe y West también.🙏
Elias es el primer personaje que conocemos en este libro, y tengo que decir que me enamoró de inmediato, el amor que tiene por su papá, por el futbol y la manera en la que todo eso los une me pareció muy tierna y conmovedora, también creo que la amistad que comparte con Gabe, Jake & West es de las mejores que he leído porque estos cuatro son divertidos, se apoyan incondicionalmente y el amor que tienen por el otro es evidente. Me encantó leer a Zara, AMÉ que supiera cuando ser fuerte y demostrar su carácter, que encontrara en Isla una amiga leal, que la anima a empujar sus limites y que siempre está cuando ella la necesita, y que entrara de manera tan natural en el grupo de los chicos fue la cereza del pastel.
La historia de amor entre Elias & Zara tiene un mucho de insta love y un poco de amor prohibido porque Zara es la hija del Coach de Elias y esta totalmente fuera de los limites, PERO el papá de Zara también le tiene prohibido involucrarse con sus jugadores, así que todo es aún más complicado para estos dos, pero me encantó la manera en la que Julie llevo su historia: AMÉ en especial que la autora nos mostrara el momento en el que Zara & Elias se conocen desde la perspectiva de ambos, que los dos tengan un vinculo muy fuerte con sus papás, que ambos conozcan el duelo y que hayan dejado un poco de lado sus propias elecciones para mantener felices a los que aman, además, creo que Elias es un héroe que lleva muy bien el trope del chico obsesionado con la chica, es tierno, dulce y hace todo para apoyarla y ayudarla a cumplir sus sueños, aún cuando no me vuelve loca que lo haga sin consultar a Zara, y cuando las cosas se ponen complicadas para el Zara esta ahí para apoyarlo, para intentar solucionar sus problemas y para darle la fortaleza que él necesita.

this book was pretty addicting! i had to sleep early but i honestly could not put it down.
Elias is a senior is college and a all too popular quarterback. Zara is the coach’s daughter and they both fell for each other instantly. i do enjoy me some good Julie Capulet insta-love because honestly it’s very addicting. this book felt a little bit longer than her other ones but i’m sure it was a similar length. i felt some things in this one was a little bit childish for being college students and some scenes were unnecessary and a little boring at time. i also wish Zara made him work a little harder and suffer a bit more, lol. overall, it was a cute college insta-love romance but it felt done before so there was honestly nothing that stuck out to me, it also felt a little one-dimensional. other than that, it was enjoyable and i couldn’t put it down!

I’ve been a fan of Julie Capulet’s books ever since I read “Hopeless Romantic”. I love how Capulet infuses true love into her stories. She is a firm believer in love-at-first-sight and all the romantic feelings that go with a sudden obsession with The One. She provides a realistic and heartwarming backstory for both Elias and Zara.
“Lovestruck” is another book that captures the reader’s interest and engages us in this couple. They must struggle with the forbidden nature of their relationship because Zara is the off-limits daughter of Elias’s football coach. What reader doesn’t fantasize about having a drop-dead gorgeous, sexy, elite football hero who is completely lovestruck with you?
It is an emotional story of passion, tenderness, romance, and a bit of angst. I enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

This is the mantra that the heroine of this book lives by. She cherishes what she can be thankful for in every moment. It resonated with me. This new standalone (loosely connected to Hopeless Romantic) is written in first person from an alternating dual POV and ends with a HEA.
Elias is the star starting quarterback of his college team. At first glance, it would seem he has everything. Readers learn that his father is ill, and that Elias has stopped playing the second field in addition to football. He is determined to find the one who makes him whole and fills his void of loneliness. Zara is an 18-year-old incoming freshman. She is the youngest daughter of the football coach whose only rule has ever been not to date football players-especially the ones on his team. Zara is an artist who has buried the grief of losing her mother two years prior in her painting. She has a very close relationship with her dad and is excited to spread her wings a little at her hometown college. Neither one of them is prepared for the jolt they feel when they meet the first time. Neither expects the all-consuming feelings, connection, and chemistry they feel toward each other.
I love Zara’s maturity within her naivete. She is pure to Elias’ more worldly past. I adore the connection they build, the passion they share, and the determination they have to fight for what they know is real. This author does an amazing job at allowing readers to feel the yearning they have for each other. One of my favorite scenes is the two of them lying on a bed innocently facing each other and gazing into each other’s eyes as they talk and solidify their connection with a greater knowledge of each other.
Steamy, love at first sight at its best: this was a feel-good and heart warming read for me. They each deal with different levels of grief regarding parental loss that connects them on a deeper emotional level from the beginning. That feeling of connection and of “knowing” each other only grows over the course of their story. They support each other’s dreams with action. I don’t normally read a lot of new adult romances. Now that my youngest child is 26, it feels a little strange to have the protagonists so much younger than she is. While discussing this yesterday. That same daughter thought my feelings were funny since I met her dad at 20 and was all-in from the word go. I guess she’s right. Age is not the most relevant factor. When you know, you know.

Neither one of them is prepared for the jolt they feel when they meet the first time. Neither expects the all-consuming feelings, connection, and chemistry they feel toward each other.
I love Zara’s maturity within her naivete. She is pure to Elias’ more worldly past. I adore the connection they build, the passion they share, and the determination they have to fight for what they know is real. This author does an amazing job at allowing readers to feel the yearning they have for each other. One of my favorite scenes is the two of them lying on a bed innocently facing each other and gazing into each other’s eyes as they talk and solidify their connection with a greater knowledge of each other.
Steamy, love at first sight at its best: this was a feel-good and heart warming read for me. They each deal with different levels of grief regarding parental loss that connects them on a deeper emotional level from the beginning. That feeling of connection and of “knowing” each other only grows over the course of their story. They support each other’s dreams with action. I don’t normally read a lot of new adult romances. Now that my youngest child is 26, it feels a little strange to have the protagonists so much younger than she is. While discussing this yesterday. That same daughter thought my feelings were funny since I met her dad at 20 and was all-in from the word go. I guess she’s right. Age is not the most relevant factor. When you know, you know.

I bow down to the Insta-Love queen! Julie has done it again with this story full of sparks and zings and insta-deliciousness. ALL THE FEELS.
I’m a sucker for love-at-first-sight stories. Ms. Capulet always does an excellent job at making me believe and want and feel everything. With Lovestruck, the pages burst with so much love and goodness, I was a smiley and swoony reader.
This new adult/college romance was so very good. It’s exactly what I want when I’m in the mood to read NA. The story was heartwarming and full of hope. The characters were so dang lovable with huge hearts, with intelligence and a maturity that made me forget their ages.
Elias - the sexy AF quarterback who is smitten with Zara from the moment they met. He had no idea who she was, only that he needed to see her again. Their meet-cute was perfectly adorable, and adorably perfect. Then he found out who she was. The coach’s daughter? That’s a huge no-no. Big-time forbidden. But there was no fighting it. The pull was way too strong, the chemistry too electric. They can’t stay away from each other. He’s willing to give up everything for her. And she’s willing to ignore the rule of not dating football players, ever.
This book is full of passion and love and happiness and all the fireworks a romance story needs. Plenty of heart-fluttering and swoony goodness and sizzling passion. Elias and Zara together, fighting for what they want, filled my heart with so much joy and contentment. I love the love they have for each other.

I can say I haven’t read a book yet that I disliked by Julie 😊 Elias sexy as all get out football hero plays his heart out with each game, but broken in a way typical of not dealing with the things from his past that hurt him, yes he is a typical college boy with a health apatite for the attention of girls in every way but lately he as been off or feeling off and can’t really put his finger on what’s missing yet something is missing the moment he watches the coaches daughter everything clicks into place. Zara is such a sweetheart an introvert, an artist who loves her father but worries about her father’s happiness, and yet she knew who or where she wanted to go in life had the determination to get there dragging her father with her bringing him happiness was her main goal. Elias was willing to give up the crazy parties, the girls all of it for his girl Zara yes he knows it is forbidden because she is the coaches daughter but she will be his the magnetic pull between them can be ignore and the harder they try the stronger the pull but will her father allow it, can he keep up football or it is a distraction, they understand each other so well but is it enough considering they are so different she being an introvert, him being a social person, and can it end with them find happiness?

Elias is the quarterback, and he's in his senior year he's focused, but something is missing from his life he feels it. Then he meets her Zara he's speechless and already threatened his teammates not to go near his wife, he finds out that's his Coach's daughter and he has rules no one dates her she's off limits. And it doesn't work lol he tries to stay away, but it doesn't work. And for Zara, she's trying to live her life as an artist, painting and trying to get in museums, and she does push away Elias when he pursues her it's funny, lol. She's trying to be good and listen to her fathers rules, but the way these two got together, it was sweet.
They did have their ups and downs, drama, and death.. i thought Elias would be sad when his father passed. Like more devastated.. but it was a good book.

This book is a gem that I found in the arcs, you know that I love sport romance but I had never read a combination with instalove, I must admit that I don't like this trope but Julie captivated me with her writing that made me I forgave and forgot that they had very little acquaintance.
The way Julie has such a unique pen and also developing her characters like Elias wtf, I couldn't believe I was falling into this. The thing is that if I told you how Elías captivated me with his words, you wouldn't have believed me.
The truth is that the instalove didn't feel very heavy or very random as I usually feel, I also feel that being a forbidden love fixed everything and modified the dynamic a little.
I loved Zara, although it is a full romance book, I also loved the small details of her growth and the family dramas because her father is Elías's coach 👀
It is also a super light book that grabs you instantly and I couldn't believe how hooked I was.
