Indiana Jones look out! Archeologist Kara Lailer is on the trail of a gem of great value. The government has decided she needs a bodyguard. Enter tiger shifter Bolt Stryper out on parole providing he keeps Kara safe and gives over the gem. What he wants to keep is the smart and sassy archeologist. The push pull between Kara and Bolt is annoying and hot at the same time. This is a fast-paced thrill ride of a good time.

This is not as adrenaline pumping as the first book, Cannon, but danger still lurked for our MCs. I am also beginning to think that there is a something more for this elite shifter force.
I liked this one better, this is more like an Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider story but there is more focus on the romance side between our MCs. And we have a happily ever or is it a happy for now. I am looking forward to more on this series.

Tiger shifter Bolt has been tasked by a government department to find and protect an archaeologist Kara Lailer. It's not going to be easy - she is competitive, very independent and has a need to do everything herself. The relic she is looking for she believes will make the world a better place but she is also his mate and so he finds it hard to deny her anything. The chemistry between them is off the charts and he will do anything to protect her - his only moral code is to not hurt women, children or innocents - anyone else who threatens her is fair game. The thing is can she forgive him when she finds out his secrets or will everything fail for them both?
I loved this story which was full of danger, drama and passion in fairly equal instalments. The personal factors that were there both for Kara and Bolt added a nice factor into the story but it also added a good level of excitement. It was a nice little foray into the world of an archaeologist and I loved the various dangers that were thrown at them. Easy to read and understand, it was definitely a rollercoaster ride through some parts of the story. I loved the way that it ended and I hope that they feature in some way in future books in the series. Contains explicit sexual content.

Bolt has been given a chance to get out of this prison he has been trapped in. Join an archeology team and protect them as they search for a mysterious artifact. To his surprise, he meets his mate and the sister he had to leave behind.
I definitely enjoyed the action and adventure in this story. It did seem a little slow in the beginning, but it did pick up nicely. I found the connection between Bolt and his sister interesting.
Kara is a force. I enjoyed reading how her character related to the others in the story.
I find the world-building consistent and growing with each story in this series. I am definitely curious to see who else the General pulls out to ultimately join her shifter task force.

I’ve always loved archeology and anything like Indiana Jones. Kara is a brilliant woman and may just be the modern day Indie. Her mission to recover an ancient and somewhat mythological stone will bring her plenty of adventure and danger. No digging in holes for this girl. Bolt has a chance to start his life over if he can protect her and the stone. It may take him and his tiger side to keep them safe. The story adds in some great additional characters that really bring to life the story. We also get to meet some of the characters from the previous story. The romance builds and the heat between the two gets hot.

Milly is my go to author for quick funny smutty reads. This book was way off the mark compared to her other stories. Felt like Kara took a plunge into the feminist pool, came out wanting to be all powerful and stuff, but ended up mad cuz she needed recusing from a man.. and of course she hates that but really wants the D. We had to endure a chapter of Kara’s woe is me…grew up in wealthy family who all have successful careers and families…then there is her, her own self esteem and pride gets in her way…cuz she got something to prove…..people who have something to prove tend to be reckless, and pretty much fall into the TSTL category. So this author will be put on back burner for a bit.

Book two is about bolt he is a shifter tiger, storyline basic is the same as book one as it's about caged shifter getting realised for a mission if they do well they will be freed but not really they have to work special ops, better then jail and they all are military kind of men anyway but still they don't have a choice.looks like there is a wedding and a pregnancy at the end of every book? Saying that the missions are different and a twist in this one with Ella got to say I didn't like Kara much thought she used sex as a weapon at one point when he wanted to talk.

Wow
Milly has done it again! I love her other series of books and this one is just as good. But I have to ask. is the general related to Gerri Wilder? she seems to have The Knack of finding mates. Or maybe she's helping the general, who knows she does have ties to the military. All I know is this is one awesome set of books and I love the action and adventure to them. I can't wait to read the third book and it's not even out yet.

Awesome.

An imprisoned mercenary innocent of the crimes he is accused. Finally given a chance of some type of freedom he becomes the protector of an archeology team and finds his long lost sister and his mate in one go. Plenty of twists and turns to keep you busy.
You won't regret it.

This second installment of the Caged and Dangerous series was well written as you would expect from this author. Milly Taiden has once again provided us with an engaging story line along with endearing characters that will keep your attention from beginning to end.

Bolt and Kara definitely had a tough road before they could find their HEA. It was exciting from the very beginning. Danger was always one step behind them. A great addition to the series. I received an advanced copy and this is my voluntary opinion.

So much action right from the beginning. Loved this series. Kara fought her attraction for Bolt at every turn. This series kept getting better as the story progressed.

Fantastic
Loved this book. There is so much action. The fact that everything is so mixed up to start just makes it better as things start to settle down. Then they get stored up again and you wonder if the General is a devil or angel.

The Tiger’s Eye Gem
The premise of this novel is intriguing - “digging up the past to find the future”. Like that the hero is a tiger shifter. Found it frustrating that the heroine Kara is so insecure she is an argumentative, bickering witch.

This Was A Great Story
Milly Taiden this series is just getting better and better. The characters are so awesome and real feeling. The romance scenes were really hot and steamy. The shifter action scenes put you on the edge of your seat!!!!

I tried so hard to like Kara but she just irritated me so much. Her bad attitude ruined the book for me. I don’t care that she toned down a little at the end the damage was done and I couldn’t wait for the book to be over.
