Stormy is an activist visiting with her mother in Ukraine, Stormy is kidnapped because she wants to shut down the diamond mining on the border of Ukraine and Russia but what she doesn't know is that the diamond mines are owned by the Russians mafia. Stormy does all she can to escape and runs straight for the wilderness.
Trigger Volkov was born in Ukraine and grew up in an orphanage with barely the basics before he was pulled into the mafia looking for a family and thought he had found one Kory the Russian mafia boss who made promises to him and lied to him about the people he ended up hurting and then betrayed him. Now Trigger is residing in a Supermax prison since he turned himself in even the General head of Supermax never once believed that a Russian mafia warrior willingly turned himself in to be imprisoned. After all this time the general wants him to go on a mission to retrieve a kidnapped woman and if he completes the mission he could be released. The task is not as easy as it may have seemed after he found out where she was not where Kory said she was. A very intriguing storyline, as well as the characters. Drama, danger, betrayal, violence, fear, adult content, and love. HEA. I read an ARC via BookFunnel without obligation. I volunteered an honest review.

Wolf shifter Trigger (Trigg) was abandoned as a child, grew up in an orphanage and then was betrayed as an adult which meant he ended up in a specially harsh shifter prison called Supermax. He is freed to complete a mission to look for a rescue human woman Stormy Miller who is a Senator's daughter, an environmentalist and has been kidnapped by the Russian bratva (maffia). She is very trusting, pure and innocent and when he finds her she makes his wolf howl and pretty much brings him to his knees. He will do everything he can to save her, even if he has to give his own life. Can they both survive this and have a chance at a future together?
I loved this story which contained a couple of stories all merged together as it covered his earlier life, her life, their relationship and their hopes for the future. I loved the way that she was actually the strong one even though she was the human. They certainly had some adventures and it was great to see how they were so protective of each other. Easy to read and understand. Contains some mature content.

I didn't enjoy this book as others that this author has written. I found it lacked depth and it wasn't a complete story. Never did find out why the Russian mob boss had Stormy kidnapped in the first place. Or how the General knew she was kidnapped and needed rescuing. Just felt like this book went through the motions- Shifter meets Mate, kills bad guys, she kills bad guy(doesn't freak out afterwards like a normal person would), sex, danger,sex, mob boss,danger, killing bad guys, yep ending with sweetness and sex. I really wanted to like this book more but...nope.

Third book in the series, Milly has another success. Trigg, a shifter being held in a Supermax prison, is given a chance to earn his freedom by doing a rescue mission for the general. Revenge, freedom, protector, loyalty are some of Trigg’s traits that create havoc on his mission. Can he find his happy ever after. I couldn’t put the book down.

Love these Caged and Dangerous stories. Part of a series but each is a stand-alone. Trigg is our dangerous shifter in this story. We get the Russian mafia and spies in this one. Trigg is a wolf shifter and his past has led him to the supermax prison. But he will be given one chance at redemption. Stormy definitely lives up to her name. She is her own force and knows how to handle a lot. She believes it making the world a better place but the mafia aren’t liking that one bit.

I absolutely loved Trigg! He was just the sweetest wolf with such a big heart! Stormy was fantastic and perfect for Trigg! These characters really pulled at my heart! I loved *Snowflake*…too funny! Plenty of action and heat with an amazing storyline! This is definitely my favorite of the series! Milly did an outstanding job with this one! I very highly recommend! I am voluntarily leaving an honest review for this complimentary copy of this book

Stormy comes from a family who leaves her to her own devices. She loves animals and nature but she gets no love from her family. Trigg and Stormy both crave love and family. Action, suspense and drama. This book has it all. I fell in love with Trigg from the very beginning. He had such a huge heart. Stormy was perfect for him. The two have a lot of hurdles to get past before they will find their happy ending. But it will be worth it. The third in the series, although it can be read as a standalone. Great read! I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

This series so far is my favorite written by Milly Taiden. This group of shifters from the Supermax prison are all so emotionally heart wrenching. Even though each story is a standalone, you know there is so much more coming. Can’t wait.

Trigger was not just a surprise but is full of surprise. I guess it’s true, you’ll never know a person unless you walk in their shoes.

Stormy and Trig's story was wonderful, sexy and had plenty of action. Trig as the hero was charming and likable. I wanted him to find his happy ending from the beginning. Stormy was strong, determined and caring. She seemed to be made for Trig despite their obvious differences. Well worth reading. Waiting for book 4.

Good Series
I always enjoy books by Milly Taiden. She has a vivid imagination and the storyline in each book is a mixture of romance, adventure, and mystery. Trigger and Stormy complimented each other's strengths and brought out the best in each other. I'm ready for the next book in this exciting series.

Shifter action with a slow burn love….perfect! Trigger was exciting with a solid plot. I did fall in love with Trigg, he was the perfectly written alpha male who finds his forever mate. Good read! ❤️❤️

I am enjoying this series even more with each new book.
The stories, although similar in some ways, have their own trials and tribulations. Instead of sweet and sassy Gerri, we have a hard nosed (yet soft hearted) General. Be ready for some emotional scenarios!

Another must read.

Omg
What a book! I so love this series. And I loved snowflake What a cutie. This was a little different then the first 2 books. H was not a good guy it seems ,but the other two finished with a pregnancy. I wonder if they would adopt but alas that mY be another book.

Grown up in the mafia but it never stuck
Book three I loved the storyline poor trigg you can't help but love him. I was disappointed that there is not a team banter thought cannon and bolt would of been around more.

This was a fantastic, action packed read. Trigg is in Supermax, and as with the others is given an assignment with the caveat that successful completion will gain his freedom. This assignment has many ups and downs, but the humanity shown in the conclusion was inspiring.
