Waking up barefoot in the woods with no memory of who he is or how he got there, a young man known only by the name Stranger, sets off on a journey through the bizarre reality of World City. A place seemingly outside of time and space, where the people speak in riddles and the game is played by an entirely different set of rules.

With each new character he meets, Stranger’s path takes him through the streets, the nightclubs, the churches, the prisons, the courts, and finally to the highest power in the world, where he must make a choice that will forever alter the fate of the city.

Confronting the world’s biggest problems while searching for the answers to his life’s deepest questions, this stranger in a strange land must find something that is true in this lost city, and have faith, if he ever wants to find his way back home.

Christian fiction should come with a clear disclaimer on the cover. Unsuspecting readers deserve the ability to either consent to or reject indoctrination before investing several hours.

I went into this book not knowing it was mostly based on biblical stuff. It was an interesting listen. I enjoyed how all the sins showed up to some extent but didnt always go by name. I am personally not into biblical stuff so I probably missed a lot of the parallel parts, nonetheless, it definitely made me think.

I loved this book, it’s full of moments when you wonder what is going to happen next and also leaves you wondering if he will ever find shoes! There is a few bad words in the book for it to be a Christian novel but at the same time the message far outweighs those few bad words. The journey in this book depicts a lot of things we all face daily and how it should all ultimately end. I highly recommend this book.
