WHAT I LIKED:
This story for me was interesting. Maxim and Livia’s story is twisted and they for me are the Joker and Harlequin of mafia. Maxim is very young and intense. I forget at times how young he is, but he did grown well. Livia is very feisty, very feisty. Sometimes both her and Maxim are like watching 2 dominants going at it. The start of their arrange marriage is toxic and dark with most of its content. So be prepare for the mental ride.
WHAT WAS SO SO:
As much as I like Maxim and Livia, Livia’s character, I love that she was a strong female. However, constantly watching her fight, predominately in the beginning, became draining sometimes. The balance they both gave did not personally work well for me. I fully understand the makeup that is Livia and who her character is supposed to be in this story, as her energy matches Maxim a few times. Should she be submissive all the time, no. It was just a bit draining for me at times. This falls under what I personally like and my taste. This does not mean there is anything wrong with the way the author portray Livia.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY
Toxicity breeds interesting sex scenes and Maxim and Livia, they go there. It wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine in the beginning as there was force intimacy amongst other things. Their sex scenes became intense at times. No ow or om.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
Both Maxim and Livia’s dads were interesting as the story unfolds. It was interesting seeing Maxim’s cousins and Livia’s brother:

Livia is being forced to marry Maxim for the benefit of their mafia families. Maxim is a monster and not looking for a wife but someone to do his bidding. Livia is stronger than Maxim realizes, both of them have been broken in the past. Will they find a way to make this arranged marriage work? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and intense scenes. Great characters with lots of depth and very steamy. I liked it.

The story is good, and it is dark, but it’s not so dark that the reader feels overwhelmed by it. The plot is good, the characters are understandable. I feel like not much really happened though, as it was mostly about the relationship between Maximus and Livia, but that’s not a horrible thing. There were a few grammatical errors, and one repeated paragraph, but I’m not horribly annoyed by those so long as I can understand what is trying to be said. I know this is part of a series of stories, but I haven’t read the others, and had no problems following along, so I appreciate that it is a stand alone as well as a continuation of a larger overall storyline. I would give this story 5 stars if I felt like more progress was made and more details about this so called war were shown and elaborated on. With that being said, I’ll probably read the other books in the series, as the mood strikes me. I will also look for other books by this author to see if any of the descriptions interest me.

"Wow" this book was awesome the author has done a remarkable job writing the story and bringing the characters to life. The story is about Olivia and Maxim they are enemies forced into a marriage that neither wanted. Olivia does not want to leave her mother on her own, her younger brother was sent away for school and her father is hardly around. Maxim and his father went and had dinner to meet Maxim's fiancee he watched her from a distance, she is very feisty, rude and smart mouth. Her father slapped her a couple of times and still she still didn't respect her fiance and his father so Maxim asked if he could punish her their way, the father allowed it to happen. The punishment that Maxim dished out was spanking her in front of his father so she was humiliated as well. Their wedding was quick and very quiet Maxim could not wait to take his wife home he wants to break her into submission. I was mesmerised reading about these two they were so much alike in a lot of ways, so can they get along. With the two families joined now will they do what they were set out to do. Will Maxim succeed to make Olivia submit to him, can he please her enough, can they fall in love. This was a dark twisted story, humiliation, violence, pain, sorrow, anger, fear, courage, murder, torture, strength, threats, justice, conflict, enemies, survival, twist and turns, adrenalin rush, ups and downs, trust, family, determination, frustration, chaos, happiness, passion, lust, romance, and love.

20 years ago the Morrone family murdered Livia’s grandparents and now they are all headed to Chicago from Italy because her father believes that the Bianchi family can unseat and steal everything from the Morrone family. Her brother Rizzo is being sent to an academy for mafia heirs, and she will be living in Chicago her mother and abusive father. Her mother has suffered from mania for many years and Livia has dark tendencies that she can only quiet with medication that she steals from her father. He’d been physically abusive and made her and her brother partake in torture sessions until he stopped during their teens. But the damage had already been done. Livia had a taste for blood and no outlet for it.
When she discovers that she is to be married in to one of the most abusive families in order to strengthen her father’s position against the Morrone family, she is mortified. But her father threatens her mother to get Livia to tow the line.
Maxim’s childhood was pretty much identical to Livia’s. He’s a violent man with a violent father who honed his skills. He likes to break women but he’s bitten off more than he can chew with Livia. Quite literally.
This was so dark but so good. The chemistry between Maxim and Livia is dark and passionate. He tries to help her with her pill addiction misunderstanding her need for quiet. When they realise that they are more alike than they first realise, things really heat up.

I loved this captivating read a great addition to the series of books
I loved the previous books in Bianca Cole’s mafia series and have been waiting earnestly for the latest and a glad to say that I was not disappointed it was s simply captivating and I read it in one sitting unable to put it down until I discovered what the outcome would be.
This is a great book where we meet Maxim and discover just what a monster he can be as and when it suits, he can be both evil personified with a good helping of sadism on the side to keep his enemies on their toes.
The heroine in this book was a great match for him and when you read it you will be as charmed by her as I was and she definitely keeps him on his toes. I do not want to spoil the read for other readers so will not give too much away.

This was such an intense story! So HOT! There are two headstrong people that won't back down. Both have lived among danger their whole lives and now their lives have just become entwined.
They were told that they would marry and both were not happy with the idea. Attracted, both wanted the other to bend. As they spent more time together, they realize just how alike they truly are...
Ok, this IS a dark read as far as violence and dealing with psychological issues are concerned. The way they both appreciate pain was dark but fitting with their world and the story. They are so much alike and it was amazing to see such a deep connection. They are very attracted to one another and their passion is SIZZLING. They create fire together. I also felt for them, how awful their upbringings were. Great side characters, this was written so well! There is danger and action, lust and it all leads to love. They are truly made for one another and despite the darkness, you can appreciate that they found their soulmate in one another. Their scenes together were simply amazing and I can't wait for more of the same! There was a bit of people looking at their intimate moment, not a fan of that. But it fit with their crazy selves!

It's a standalone with no cliffhanger and a guaranteed HEA. The story was written exceptionally with world building characters and complex storyline. It's dark, twisted and gripping. This is Olivia and Maxim story an enemy to lover, hate-to-love story, forced proximity romance. Olivia dad uprooted her from her home and move to America then forced her into a marriage with son of sociopath who heir to the Volkov Bratva.
Maxim didn't want to marry Olivia either. You both these characters who are alpha's in a relationship and challenge each other. This book follows Maxim and his arranged marriage Livia. Livia has a darkness inside her and she doesn’t know how to control it but she doesn’t want her Mom or her brother to see that side of her. So instead she suppresses those feelings until she is forced to marry Maxim. She knows how the Bratva work and Maxim is just as dark inside as she is. If she wasn’t so angry she might find salvation in his world.
Maxim likes the challenge of his new wife’s defiant behavior and he will break her. However, he doesn’t want her addicted to pain pills and hiding from him. He knows he has to reach her and make her see that the darkness inside her makes her beautiful and stunning!
Reading their story is a bit harsh at times because there is a lot of violence and triggers but the way they compliment each other and bring out the best in them through their devious ways is pretty hot and very sexy. You will enjoy this book as much as the other Chicago Mafia Dons book and you won’t be disappointed in the level of heat radiating off the pages. Happy Reading!

At first you think Livia is a sweet girl that has been badly abused by her father until her brother was old and big enough to protect her. Her father sends her brother off to school and next we know he is marrying her off to Maxim Volkov, his father is head of the Volkov Bratva. Maxim is not happy with his father especially since he shot his sister (Violent Leader) but he will fall in line and marry as dictated.
Maxim was not really prepared for a really unwilling bride, one that would go to such lengths as to break his fingers. That is really just the start of the twist things happen. These two wounded individuals, both scarred from their fathers, are a perfect pairing. They do some pretty twisted stuff with each other that might not be for some people. This is the 3rd book in the Chicago Mafia Dons series featuring Maxim and Olivia's deliciously dark and twisted story. The two of them are being forced into an arranged marriage by their evil fathers and neither one of them want to since they are enemies. Olivia really doesn't like the thought of leaving her mother alone since her father's barely there and her brother is away at school. Olivia is a strong fierce woman and Maxim is determined to break her their chemistry in the bedroom and other places SIZZLED!! However they still had to deal with their horrible evil fathers. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this deliciously dark and twisted story to see what happens. Dark, evil but so exciting to read.
Wow, is all I can say about dark and evil arranged marriage of two young people who are so similar. Both came from abusive homes were their fathers showed them cruelty and formed them into a world of evil violence. Maxim didn’t want to deal with a bride he had no knowledge of and he hated her before he met her. Livia violence that she carried stem from her hatred of her father and he forcing her to marry because of his greed and revenge. Livia proved she wasn’t a woman to be broken and she set out to do just that until Maxim discovered her use of fentanyl. He put her in rehab but it was almost his undoing because it showed him her evil side but it brought them closer together. Great story and I am looking forward to reading the next about Maxim father. It should be another doozy. Great reading everyone!

He put her in rehab but it was almost his undoing because it showed him her evil side but it brought them closer together. Great story and I am looking forward to reading the next about Maxim father. He is twisted and dark....but so is she underneath
Evil Prince is the third book in the Chicago Mafia Dons series. Be warned as this story does have triggers, and there are a few that do not sit well with me. This darker story is about Maxim Volkov and Livia who end up with an arranged marriage for an alliance that brings two broken people together. But what happens next is about to spin your top and taken you down a dark path that you may like or not.....but either way it is an intriguing read. I cannot say that I connected with the characters or completely got their connection but it was a fascinating story.

I was not expecting this book. Pay attention to the trigger warnings because it was dark. It was fantastic just very dark. You don't have to have read the other books in the series to understand this one which was good. The chemistry between Maxim and Livia was intense and their relationship and the way the loved each other was powerful and dangerous all at the same time. I couldn't put the book down once I started and my heart broke for both of them and what's they had lived through and experienced. If you are looking for a dark romance with two twisted characters, this book is for you.

Maxim wasn't a fav of mine in other books since he was portrayed as a sadistic killer who likes to torment his victims and treat women poorly.
Yet once you get to see inside what his childhood looked like you can give him alittle pass on some things which he brings to the table when he Marries Livia and it seems she isn't no wall flower either and has been subjected to some hurt at the hands of her father..these two pretty much have a BDSM kind of kink together as seem to fit together as they both like dulling out some pain.
Definitely a good read and I never suspected what was happening with Maxims dad that's interesting so will be looking forward to reading more about that.

Livia is moved to America and is forced to marry a man she does not like. She is not a mild person that will just lay down and take what is given her. Maxim is telling her how it will be and his rules. Livia is not like all the other she has a dark side and a back bone. This book has all the good things like danger, action, violence, and romance. I have read the other books in the series and pre ordered the last book. This is just as good if not better than the others. This is absolutely a great story. . This is the 3rd book of the Mafia Don's series. It kept me intrigued from start to end. It's fast paced with great characters. Olivia (Livia) has to move to America and is promised in marriage to Maxim Volkov, how's heir to the Bratva. Olivia says that he's evil and she feels as if her life will be a slave to him. Maxim feels that he's the monster in the room but he doesn't know that Olivia is just as dark as he is. There is action, adventure, drama, danger, enemies, survival, stubbornness, determination, tenderness, passion, and love. Can't wait to read the next book in the series. . I was immediately pulled in to the arranged marriage between Livia and Maxim by their fathers to align their mafia forces for revenge and gaining an edge on the war in Chicago. What follows is some dark and steamy pages as Livia and Maxim realize they may have similar upbringings and hatred of their fathers. As Maxim discovers Livia’s secrets, he feeds her darkness in a way that she never imagined. I read this book in one sitting as there was no good stopping place wondering how will it all end!

Book 1 of a series
Stand-alone book 1 of a series is a well written book. The characters are strong, strengthened by fire. Nobody has an easy life. It’s more kill or be killed. The story line is good, although not typically my flavor of book. The H/h are both too strong of a personality for my liking. I like books with a little more tenderness. But if you like heroines that give as good as they take-this is it. I’m going to read book 2, hoping it’s a little softer heroine etc.

Her father wants an ally. His father shares his enemy. Livia and Maxim will marry to complete the alliance. He is hoping for a obedient and compliant wife and Livia is not either of these things.Both hold terrible secrets about themselves, which when revealed takes them on a strange journey.....great read, intense and a real page turner.. Wow this book was amazing and the dark romance was so hott! Maxim is from the Russian Bratva and is in an arranged marriage to marry Livia who is apart of the Italian Mafia. They are not happy about this arrangement at all but will come to find out they are very very similar. A lot of darkness and steamy romance that was so hott I couldn’t put the book down! .

This story I really like! I love how Livia fought for everything she wants & believe. So her dad made a deal with the Russian mob in an attempt to join forces! She meets Macungie who can be a little rough & once they are married he showed her (or at least try to) who’s the boss! I love their relationship. I do think the “love” came a little too quick & also there are lose ends but that’s where they bring the other book.
