Prostitute. Hooker. Slut.

It’s what people would say if they knew what I do for a living. But I prefer to see myself as a teacher, and the bedroom is my classroom.

I take the awkward, the shy, the embarrassed… and I help them find love. I teach them how to read a woman’s body language, how to buy the perfect gift, and when it comes down to it, I teach them how to be good between the sheets. Because, let’s be honest, the most important part of love is the physical connection.

I keep it all professional—signed contracts, medical records, files and folders—zero emotions. There’s no room in my life for love.

And there’s certainly no room in my life for Will.

At first glance, he seems to have it all together—top marks, rich daddy, hot body, and a panty-dropping smile—but when it comes to romancing the woman of his dreams, he finds himself out of his league. He just needs a little help.

I’m his teacher, and he is my student. There’s a line that we cannot cross.

Too bad my heart didn’t get the memo.

I’m not normally a fan of the heroine being a ‘woman of questionable morales’ (GG reference) but Trisha writes her heroine well and you will find yourself rooting for love story between the main characters. Their chemistry is hot and so are the sex scenes - just could have done with a little … more!

An enjoyable read. This is Trisha's first contemporary romance and she has smashed it!!!
Scarlett and Will's story is the perfect amount of steamy romance and a bit of angst, then a HEA. Scarlett is a fierce independent woman with a tough streak that is worn down by the mild mannered Will. The emotions are right there on the page and I had trouble putting the book down.

Trisha could make this a series with Zack and Jodie's stories. I loved their support roles and would love for them to have their own HEA.

An interesting contemporary young adult romance with some angst and a twist. Scarlett has a unique job to put herself through college, she takes on one client for a month and tutors him into being a more confident and skilled man. Her tutoring extends into the bedroom. Her real self is carefully hidden away.

Will is a handsome, well built college freshman who lacks the confidence to approach his dream girl. His roommate and longtime best friend, Theo, suggests Will contact Scarlett. Theo has turned into a skeezy ladies man in the month since school started seemingly on a mission to sleep with the school’s entire female population.

Will is hesitant to do anything physical with Scarlett because he doesn’t want to have to explain or apologize for anything he does when/if he gets the chance with his dream girl.

The month long relationship between Scarlett and Will isn’t what Scarlett expects and she starts to actually have feelings for Will. The set up is destined for some angst and drama, but how can a HEA be reached when the beginning is so unusual.

The author does a great job building these characters and developing them into more than I was initially expecting of them. She caught my interest and had me emotionally invested in them finding their way past the drama.

★ A unique client ★

—>>> Review Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars - College student Samantha Patterson moonlights as Scarlett, a relationship/dating coach who instructs clueless guys on how to behave successfully around women. Will is given Scarlett’s number by his roommate Theo when he was caught paying attention to a particular girl at a party,. He is hesitant to call her but feels he can use her guidance to approach the mystery girl, and Scarlett seems to garner good results, if the way Theo’s confidence has changed is any indication. For both Scarlett and Will, not crossing the line is something they have to keep reminding themselves to respect as per their one month’s contract, but when their hearts soon get involved, failure is suddenly looming on the horizon for this teaching experience, because, after all, Will’s parameters were unique to Scarlett.

Enjoyed the character growth in Sam and Will as well as the supporting characters, although Sam/ Scarlett’s sister did take a while to warm up to for me.

This is an enjoyable contemporary romance with a twist. Will is a 20 year old college student with very little experience with the opposite sex, Scarlet (aka Samantha) is a 21 year old student with considerably more experience which she then ‘teaches’ to the less acquainted. Will sees the girl of his dreams one night at a college party but hasn’t the courage to speak to her so he hires Scarlet in order to help him overcome his shyness, no string attached. Pity their hearts didn’t listen.

The book is well written and easy to read, the storyline is refreshing and entertaining. Well worth a read!

Will sees the girl of his dreams across the room at a crowded party but cannot pluck up the courage to approach her.

When his long time friend, Theo tells him about a woman called Scarlett, he hires her to teach him everything he needs to know about getting the girl.

Soon they begin to fall for each other but love is never simple and complications arise.

This is the first book I have read by Trisha Bradley and look forward to reading more.

Will and Scarlett meet when his roommate suggests he contact her as she helps men learn what makes women happy. Will needs help in how to get the girl he likes. Scarlett works to help him gain confidence and before long starts to have feelings for him. Will won’t allow things to go too far between them but that all changes when he starts to have feelings for her too. Will they have a chance to be happy together?

Scarlett is the sassy teacher that will help teach Will how to get his dream girl, since he thinks his dream girl is out of his league. As time passes between Scarlett and Will, they quickly fall for each other which makes for an interesting read as things get complicated for them and their feelings.

This was the first book I have read from Trisha and I really enjoyed it. Will is an inexperienced college student who pays Scarlett to show him how to meet and start a relationship with his perfect woman. How has time goes on both develop feelings for each other, will he forgot his perfect woman to go after Scarlett? I would recommend reading this book to find out

I liked the development of Sam's realisation that she can want to be in a relationship without being indebted to the man. I felt it was slow going in the first section but I felt more invested once Jody arrived, so that might be why it felt quicker. I liked the sarcastic notes throughout the book.

I thought this was quite a unique spin, and really enjoyed it. I loved how confident Sam/Scarlett was and how Will kind of knocked down all her defense. Will was a total stand-up guy and such a sweetheart, and I thought that he suited Sam so well. This romance was fun, flirty and entertaining!
