Please Me, Daddy #44

Wrong For Daddy

MILLIE
•••

I’m late…again. And Professor McKay doesn’t seem to be in any sort of mood for my tardiness. By how he keeps flashing that famous cold stare of his my way, I can tell the man’s had enough.

But what’s a girl supposed to do?

My roommate’s the one in charge of getting us to campus—even though every week she acts as if we somehow landed ourselves a new schedule…

So you can certainly say walking in late on lectures is no special occasion for me.

Though once classes end for the day and I’m off to my job at The Dollcat—the hottest nightclub here in the city—I find myself in even more of a pickle.

Working somewhere like this is purely for the money. I mean, of course I’m not looking to keep at this ‘till I see the wrinkles start to form. But it helps the club pays double, if not triple, than what most gigs around here can offer a girl my age.

But when my section becomes overrun by a group of rugged men who seem to think they have any right to cross the line set here at The Dollcat, I’m shocked to the core when finding Professor McKay is the one to save my night.

What in the—

Without thought, I’m defended in a heartbeat, getting swept off my feet and taken away from the crowd to be brought home safe and sound, left without a mark.

But now…now I’m flooded with feelings I can no longer control—emotions I have no right to feel for a man of this caliber.

And through the thick of it all, I can now see what’s right.

Knowing in the end I’m nothing but wrong…for Daddy.

The Price of Education and Love

Many see a college education as the ladder up and out of the circumstances in which life has landed them. And college freshman Millie is grabbing that vision with both hands. And so, she has taken her place in the local college by means of scholarship and working at the hottest nightclub in town, The Dollcat, as her path up and out of poverty.

But for the moment, she is tottering on the edge, trying to balance academic demands of time and money. She must maintain attendance requirements and grades to maintain her scholarship. But, she also needs to eat and have a place to live—even with a roommate Margot—to share costs. And, Millie depends on her roommate, workmate, and source of transportation, Margot, to help her make connections to class and work. But, after working late hours at the Dollcat, Margot has great difficulty awakening in a timely fashion to drop Millie off for her class with Professor David McKay, the blue-eyed professor who holds Millie’s college scholarship in his hand. After a series of tardies to his class, Professor McKay has issued an ultimatum—tardy again and Millie will be dropped from his class roster.

As a professor, David McKay wants Millie, the shy girl with chocolate-drop eyes, shiny brown hair, and long silky legs, to succeed, but he must enforce the attendance expectations of the college. But, as a man, David wants more than her academic success. He wants her sweetness in his life and her curves in his arms, and he will do whatever it takes to support the young girl on the precipice of becoming a woman—and he wants to help her with that also, even if he must leave his position at the college to facilitate his relationship with the sweet young woman-child.

B.L. Brooks once more offers the reader a tale of first love for a young woman who needs an older man to guide and protect her, and the older man who needs the gentle honesty of a young woman’s guilelessness to give him direction and purpose in life.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Millie & Professor David McKay. When this book opens we find that Millie is late for class again. She wants to be here on time but the problem is she has to rely on others for transportation. When she breaks down the professor can't help but want to comfort her. David has had a thing for Millie since the first day of class but being her professor has him limiting their interaction. When he holds Millie while she cries he knows he has to do something for this girl. Can these two find a HEA or will their positions make that impossible?

Another amazing story by this author. The push and pull of these two characters will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Quick Age-Gap Read
Millie is a young innocent student in Professor David Mckay’s class. There is an instant attraction between the two that is so wrong, but so right. David cannot get Millie out of his mind. When he sees her in trouble he become very protective of her and is willing to make drastic changes in his life to have her. This is a fast paced steamy read.
I received an ARC of this book from the author in return for voluntarily writing an honest review.

Student and teacher story.. Was a very short story
She’s late to his class a lot and she’s working to save money. He’s attractive to her but he knows it’s forbidden, but one time he sees her working at a bar he goes to and isn’t happy that she’s being hit on by other guys so he feels the need to protect her.

I read an ARC via the author and I'm voluntarily choosing to review it.

Short, full of attraction good. Wonderful characters. Millie, a smart, ambitious, always late student. Not really her fault. Her roommate has the car. Professor David McKay. Frustrated. Millie needs to be here for his lectures so she can graduate. We wants her to succeed.
I love a good, short little read to add to my busy day!

The author has given us a wonderful older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of David and Millie. He may be her Professor but there are other things he would like to teach her.

Liked this!

I’m not as into the ‘Daddy Kink’ and virginal college student, but all in all, it was pretty heart felt and a happy ending.

intriguing

David & Millie complete the puzzle for each other. In my opinion this author writes great short stories that entertain the reader from the beginning.
