Michelle After years of darkness, I finally feel free. I’m far from the chaos of my past. Creating a fresh start away from my old life is my dream, my life line. At Brooks University I can be whoever I want to be. This is exactly what I need.
That is, until a ghost from my past shows up and pulls me right back down into the hell I left behind.
The worst part of it is, he doesn't even remember me.
Eric
It’s taken years to become the man I am.
Confident.
Adored.
It’s my senior year, and I'm the king of the campus. I have all the friends I could ever want and I'm never short on women who want my company.
No one would dare challenge me.
Except her.
I have no idea who she is, but now that she's on my radar?
I won't stop until to find out.
*This book is a New Adult Bully romance, with very dark undertones* **Check content warnings** *** Ends on a cliffhanger***

I have a lot of thoughts on this book so buckle up:
Things I liked:
Plus size main character I loved that Michelle was a curvy girl. That will never get old for me. Seeing a plus size queen get love. I also loved that she was thin and then became bigger later in life because same 😂
Sibling relationship Having a brother myself that I tried to protect growing up, I could relate so hard to Michelle and Jakes dynamic. I would do anything for my brother and seeing Michelle do the same was so nice.
Sexy time 😍 We love a man who can worship every inch of his ladyyyyyy
Second chance at love I am all for people growing up and growing. I absolutely adore second chance at love tropes and this was was no exception. I loved seeing Eric be the man who finally did deserve Michelle.
Mental Health matters I really really loved that Erica did not shy away from the truth of mental health and trauma. She gave us REAL representation of how that can impact and effect someone’s day to day life.
There were a few things I think I would have liked to see done a little differently as a reader:
So my first thing was the resolutionish moment when Eric finds out who Elle is. We spent the first 30-35% of the book with a great enemies to lovers slow burn vibe. But then the moment Eric says hey wtf tell me everything, Michelle does. And I would have really liked to see her fight him a little more on telling him about her life.
Second ties in with the first After Michelle and Eric finally talk about everything I fell like we just took off from there. I really would have like to see him have to fight a bit more before she was nice to him 😂
My last thing is the very end(slight spoilers) I actually really loved the ending fight. I loved seeing Eric mess up and Michelle stand up for herself. But again I needed more groveling. Within a page or two she was wanting to forgive him and save the relationship when in reality she has nothing to be sorry for.
With all of that being said I did enjoy the book and look forward to what comes next for Erica. I think a lot of people will be able to love and relate to Michelle and Erics story. 🖤
