THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANNON.
This IS THE BOOK for those who wanted Katara and Zuko together.
The author highlights several aspects overlooked in the series, such as the motherly/sibling-like relationship between Katara and Aang, and the sexual tension between Zuko and Katara.
Furthermore, the author, being an adult, clearly understands the dynamics between various characters. Her writing style and fabricated conversations blend seamlessly into the narrative, making it difficult at times to distinguish between the original series and her additions. She delves deeply into Zuko's struggle with being loved and accepted after years of abandonment by his father.
Her emotionally charged writing made me feel the heartbreak, tension, lust, happiness, grief—everything.
Although there is explicit content, the book is not merely a smut novel but a compelling story about two people from different worlds grappling with their feelings and roles in the world.
This might just be my favorite book of all time and is certainly the best Zutara fanfic out there, spanning only around 300 pages.
I also loved how Avendell created visuals for the book, similar to those in Manacled. That alone suggests its quality, doesn’t it? I also don't understand the low ratings; this book was everything.
This should be canon, but it sure will be my headcannon from now on.

One of the best fics I've read and honestly the ending for Zuko and Katara I wanted. Put fire and water together, of course it's steamy, adventurous, and so fun!
