Uzziah: Mountain Man: The Making of a Mountain Man: A Fourteenth Mountain Man Adventure

Rate this book
The fourteenth " Mountain Man" adventure from JJ Bonham has arrived!

They had a rough winter. Fortunately, Max and Frederick had given up on the mountain life, and the boys took their cabin and barn apart for wood. That was twice in two years those lazy mountain men had saved Immanuel and Uzziah’s lives. In San Angelo, Texas a sidewinder named Ned ‘Texas’ Brownley incorporated the Great Northern Cattle Company. The drive that the company put together left Fort Belknap with 1500 head of longhorns headed north. By the time they got opposite Colorado, Uzziah and Immanuel noticed the buzzards. Longhorns were dying of thirst when the two mountain men stampeded the herd toward a watering hole. They saved the herd but lost some men. Stranded, the trail boss asked the boys to help. They traveled north via the Mississippi and Missouri but more death on the Big Muddy and the Mighty Mo left just the one partner, Ned ‘Texas’ Brownley. He traveled to Wolf Point with a secret weapon to defeat the Injuns in the area. The Injuns came as Ned unleashed his secret weapon. When the herd arrived, it was a story that could only happen to two mountain men who had just wanted to help and inadvertently gotten stranded in east Montana Territory.
