I was born and raised in a coal mining town in southwestern Va. In the Apalachician mountains, during the fall of the year at sunrise. They look like their on fire.
I have also spent 17 years as a mechanical / architectural designer.
I started writing my first book in 1998. Lost the manuscript a few time and finally finished it in 2012.
