This was an interesting mystery featuring Darla's somewhat estranged mom and her mom's lifelong nemesis. Could Darla team up with her own lifelong nemesis long enough to clear her mom's name in the other woman's murder? Tune into the book and find out. There was a super surprising twist I never saw coming, and I was awfully surprised at whodunit too.
The series is full of surprises and awesome characters. We met a new guy in this one. Wonder if Caleb might have someone to worry about getting Darla's attention over his? I'm Team Caleb though even though new guy seems nice. I can't wait to borrow the next one on KU!

Another good one bites the dust!
This is the fourth book I have read in this series and I am getting to like the characters very much.
Sammny's food truck was the vechile for this murder. Kelly's mother was the victim and the girls found out that they are sisters.
Not sure yet if this is a good thing or not. You need to read this one and find out if they are happy about it or not.

Another great continuation to this series. You don’t have to read these in order but if you’d like to know the characters and town then read in order. But each story can be read as a stand alone so if you’d don’t have access to the one before or are missing one don’t let it hinder you in reading these. Try and figure out “who done it” before the author reveals it at the end. And this story kind of has a surprise twist at the end.

The third in an excellent series
Darla is doing well with the food truck when one morning she is surprised by her mother appearing unannounced from LA. The relationship had been rocky and was not getting better. Then a dead body is found in the cooler of one of the trucks and it is her mother’s rival. From there the mystery deepens . A fun read.

I am enjoying this cozy mystery series set in Bluffton, SC. Darla’s mother is in town - they have a strained relationship, and she is accused of murdering a frenemy. Did she do it? Can Darla solve the mystery? What other surprises will we see?

After a second installment that was outstanding, this entry fell flat for me. Characters didn't seem to be built out and the book as a whole wasn't really fluid. Also, no explanation of where our friendly Officer Bright was.

Nice murder mystery - this time there is a body and a mystery to solve. Darla (the MC) learns a lot about her family in the process of investigating the crime. The background is coming into focus nicely, with enough twists and turns to keep the reader (me!) interested. Enjoyed it.
