This book is well meaning but problematic. Over the course of the book, the verses get more and more taken out of context and misapplied and the little devotional descriptions get increasingly “God is your boyfriend” type language which is honestly just annoying.
God DOES love us unconditionally, incredibly, never-endingly, but the verses this author chooses to try to fit the statements of the ways God loves us are a stretch. At first they were helpful to use as a jumping off point for further reading and study but in the end I felt like I was supporting lazy and out of context scripture quoting for self-centered purposes.
