Regifted: Ganged by the Ghosts of Christmas

Rate this book
From the critically-acclaimed authors of Back for Seconds: A Reverse Harem Feast comes a brand new reverse harem tale of holiday hedonism, Chaz Dickens-style. This filthy, gender-bent twist on a Christmas Carol follows businesswoman Ellie Nadir and four ghostly guests - Jake, Anon, Yore, and Exor - as she learns how rewarding giving can be. She’ll be absolutely filled with…joy…by the time they’re done helping her embrace the true meaning of Christmas.

Regifted: Ganged by the Ghosts of Christmas is a 11,355 word stimulating short story about being filled with holiday spirit(s) and learning how to embrace the act of giving. This tale is written for adults, and intended for 18+ audiences only. It involves explicit group activity, unprotected “interactions” with ghosts and their subsequent glowing ectojism, bondage, love taps to the face, the ol’ hide-the-chain trick, and consensual humiliation of the female main character, including some degrading terms that sensitive readers may find offensive.

(Also, y’all, there’s a *definitive* HEA in this one, okay? Don’t come for us this time!)

2.5 stars. I apologize, folks. I just wasn’t ready to say goodbye to Christmas quite yet. So I just had to dive into this smutty version of the Dicken’s classic. Marley and Cratchit like you’ve never seen before. And the Christmas cheer was bountiful. Like uncomfortably bountiful. Like those ghosts could’ve been mistaken for tripods. And our lead, Ellie, took it all like a champ. Like literally took it all. All of those spectral appendages. And they made me pay for all her misdeeds. Like, with sex. You get it. Unpaid wages, mandatory overtime, taking advantage of unpaid interns, and other such atrocities all brought to term by some horndog Casper types. Ellie seemed to enjoy it though, so I’m not sure that she was taught a lesson. Like if Briana Banks from the early 2000s spanked me for stealing from my daughter’s piggy bank, would that teach me anything? Nope, I’d just do it again in a microsecond. Now that I think about it, I’d probably be encouraged to rob a bank to see how she’d reward me. So Ellie is used up and filled with ectoplasm, or whatever the proper term is for ghost goo and she goes on to have a Merry Christmas. Albeit, one with her walking with a bit of a shimmy after this adventure. Let’s just all be thankful that the author didn’t have some sexually aggressive version of Tiny Tim in here. Not sure my brain could’ve handled it. The moral of the story is clear though…do bad things and you will be rewarded. “God bless us, everyone.”

I loved this scorching new spin on "A Christmas Carol" from the witty (and filthy) minds of J.L. Logosz and Vera Valentine.

Businesswoman Ellie Nadir is visited by four spirits on Christmas Eve from whom she learns the joy of giving and sharing what she can for the benefit of others. Her story is adorned with clever and amusing riffs on the original tale, with a gang of dreamy spirits to fill her void, and oh. those. chains.

In the original "A Christmas Carol", Dickens wrote of Scrooge: "He had no further intercourse with Spirits". Fortunately for we readers, and most especially for Ellie, they clearly do things different now.

Five Star seasonal smut. Very highly recommended.

This was a crazy little twist on A Christmas Carol. It was well-written, fun, and utterly filthy. And I enjoyed every second of it. God bless us, everyone.

This is a 5/5 because it knows what it is. It's not trying to be the next Jane Austen or Nora Roberts. It's a silly, utterly ridiculous, hilarious, and over the top story that's somehow still sexy. I laughed both at it and with it and just had a good time.

This is not meant to be a prize-winning story y'all. Unless that prize is for being the most bonkers thing I've ever read...in which case 1st place.

It's basically a creative writing exercise gone awry that also has you fanning your face and wondering how the fuck you ended up here. And you're enjoying it.

I need one for EVERY holiday. Please & thanks.

Silly little smut

A modern, and mostly smut driven, retelling of A Christmas Carol. Ellie is your run of the mill Fortune 500 CEO and needs to unscrooge herself and have some compassion. How does she gain this insight? With some spicy times.

Spice: 5/5

Triggers: cheating (not by MC)

Scroowed?

A new, saucy version of A Christmas Carol, (and proper respect paid to C. Dickens, esq.) in which Ellie (formerly) Kruge is visited by four ghosts intent on teaching her about the spirit of the season all at once. In bed. Funny and hot and a festive miracle!

A dream or a nightmare before Christmas?

I'm sure, should he have been able to read this book, that Dickens would be rolling in his grave...with laughter. Ellie Nadir, newly divorced, dislikes Christmas, and is spending Christmas Eve alone and is prepared to write everything off as a business expense. However, when the apparition of her ex-business partner Jake Morley appears with the trio of goods from Christmas Past, Present, and Future, they teach her a lesson she soon won't forget.
Let yourself be filled with...joy...along with Ellie this Christmas, and keep an eye out for a special appearance from our 'least favourite' leftover!
Can't wait to see what this amazing pair of writers will come up with next...New Year's and dropping balls anyone?

Ganged by the Ghosts of Christmas

“What kind of woman does that make you, I wonder? Just letting herself get tied to a hotel room bed by a bunch of strange men.”

I picked this up for the humorous title and I love a smutty take on a classic. I stayed for the excellent spice. 🥵🥵I did not expect this to be so hot!

ATP it’s becoming tradition to read a Vera holiday book and I’m not even mad. I adore retellings of classics, especially “A Christmas Carol”. It’s one of my favorite holiday stories, so to read a why choose spicy version was just amazing.

Not sure what I expected with a title like this book had. But weirdly, I’d have preferred if it was a little longer?

Doing the Sufferathon readathon and was told to read a book under 100 pages with a rating of less than 3.45. I was going to read the door one, but I'm a sucker for a Christmas Carol retelling so...I read this hahaha.

It wasn't that bad actually. Like it's not good and it is what it is, but it wasn't a terrible reading experience. hahahaha. I did not care for the ending, and so that took a star off.

I'm friends with one of my professors here on GR and I always think of that before posting stuff like this hahaha.

It wasn't bad until the ending that made no sense.

When I say it made no sense I'm fully aware that I'm reading what I am reading and it still made zero sense in the end.

Loved this!

Vera Valentine and J.L. Logosz ALWAYS commit to the bit that their stories are about, and Regifted is no exception.

It's a Christmas Carol retold, and I loved every minute of it! Valentine and Logosz's stories are always hot, sexy, reverse harems with enough puns to keep you giggling and enough heat to keep you blushing. Plus there's ALWAYS a scene where I go "they fit together how?''

5/5 would DEF recommend!

I find myself hoping for a Valentine's and Easter Bunny book as well ....

First things first, Vera and J.L. deserve jail for this title. It’s bad enough I’m reading Christmas Carol smut, but now I can’t even tell people what it’s called. Still, this one ate down. I really feel like I was able to see the error of my ways and get into the holiday spirit. I don’t know who asked them to make an explicit happily ever after but I am truly glad that they did. It was better than stockings but still not as good as Thanksgiving. We will keep trying to recapture the magic, I think the Valentine’s Day one is next.

Look this is what it is. I was wondering how they were going to do the whole repenting of sins, and now I know! I feel life we should have gotten more from the Exor? The poor Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come. Oh. Was that intentional? I'm literally seeing that just now and if that is the case then this book was way funnier than I realised while reading it.

Loved that this story demands a living wage with great benefits for all workers. Solid demands.

2.5 stars but I rounded up.

A spicy re-imagining of A Christmas Carol, with a Scrooge-like FMC who is visited by 4 ghosts on Christmas Eve to punish her and get her to change her ways.

++++

Was this earth shattering? No. Did I feel i wasted the 40 minutes it took me to read it? (I was doing a couple things while reading it) Not really.

It wasn't the worst and it wasn't the best smutty short story I've read. And there wasn't the ew factor that other shorts have had.

Well this is a Dickens retelling. The spin on this tale is fresh, haha, but I was lost at how sex would lead to the female MC to learn her lesson. That was kinda lame and lacking explanation. I get it’s a fun novella and ridiculous to begin with, but at least explain so we can stay in the story.
This did have a decent but predictable ending, I was still left with the question of “how”?

Amazing as always

Honestly, Vera never disappoints.

If this was the original Christmas Carol, I would've paid more attention 🤣

If I'm ever visited by ghost and it's not like this, I'll be disappointed.

This book is an excellent in between - pallet cleanser when you need one. Vera Valentine is one of my favorite authors and in duo with JL Logosz she does not disappoint. This book is fun, it's bonkers, it's hot and it is just a super fun novella with a HEA.
