Dancing With Fire

Rate this book
“Let’s dance with fire until it burns, letting the ashes of broken hearts scattered around our broken souls.” Money. Money is the most important thing in the world for Serafine Veronica Mendez, a trying hard scam and a wanna-be rich kid. She believes that if you have the money, you can have everything the world can offer, wealth, status and a position in the elite circle. Everything is in place while she’s making a living out of fooling other people until one night when she accidentally witnessed a possible murder situation. The incident lead her to Engineer Vioxx Ephraim Miranda. The man who taught her that not all things can be bought by money, including the happiness, life and love. But if their different worlds met, what if the world they thought would collide only crossed paths and was not really meant for each other? They danced with fire whenever they got the chance, not knowing that the flames they ignited would burn and hurt them in the end. [Wattpad]

I give this book 1/5 🌟 [DNFed about 50%]

I'm holding zero fucks on my words because im so fucking disappointed with this piece of shit.

1. I don't think the author thought through of how she's going to make her characters because one moment the heroine is a bad bitch playing everyone dumb and the next she's a meak girl who can't even stand for herself. Then the hero is all sorts black, blue and white. By that I meant he's also one confusing fuck because there would be times were he's all manly and serious then a he does an out of character thing like do a macho dance and act like a gigolo. I feel like the author wanted to portray him as someone who's a serious eng./business man and at the same time who's kind and funny BUT THAT DIDN'T FALL THROUGH.

HOLD YOUR FUCKING TITS AND DON'T COME FOR ME I'M NOT DONE YET.

2. This author fucking reuses the same "problem". What was the problem you may ask? FUCKING OVER HEARING THE HERO WHILE HE'S TALKING TO SOMEONE WHO LIKES HIM AND WHO KNOWS HIS STARTING INTENTIONS WITH THE HEROINE. (kinda familiar? checkout her fucking lackluster book: Tempting the Heiress)

3. This fucking hero is paying the heroine's mom so that the mom wouldn't beat the heroine.
JUST WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK??
If you trully and wholeheartedly love her you wouldn't pay someone just to "not hurt her". You're making the situation even worse. Why?, because darling that's fucking stupid!. The hero isn't actually helping the heroine. He's making more problems for himself through financially supporting a gambler which I can't comprehend why the fuck will he do that, when he's SUPPOSED TO BE A SMART BUSINESSMAN/ENG. He's ENABLING THE SERA'S MOM TO BE ENTITLED AND HE'S GIVING HER THE POWER TO REIGN OVER HIM which is pathetic because he's supposed to be "mature and a good businessman/eng" (Now, going back to what I just said that this hero's character is poorly written, this is one of the key scenes.)

LASTLY

4. The heroine (sera) already had an idea that her dad was somehow involved in the murder kindapping that happened near their place while they were watching the CCTV footage but she decided to lie to Rai that she didn't know anyone in the CCTV that he showed her.
THEN FUCKING NOTHING. This bitch was like "oh no my father is innocent because he's kind and he's the best dad" or whatever, then proceeds to not doing shit about it all the while getting love sick and fucked by Rai. Then, had the audacity to be shocked and hurt when she over heard that Rai really knew everything.

NOW
I cant push myself to finish more of this shit. There's tons of plot holes, lacking of character development, and it was just a lackluster for me. I gave this author a second chance thinking that her writing style would actually get better but no. Her grammar is now better but her skills as a writer needs a lot of improvement, the way she builds her character is still shit. Soooo I'll just leave this author alone and move on to other writers that write actual fucking good books.
