Before reading it, I told Leila i claimed Nico as mine because he is italian and it was my right ( for those who doesn't know i'm italian too),
but now I know Alessia is my person!!

L.K Reid has became one of my favorite author in a short time, and i'd like to say I know by now what to expect from her,
but she always surprise me.
And this novella is the biggest surprise 😍😍
It's funny, thanks to Alessia and her being amazingly weird.

A fun story
Jumping into this blind, I was surprised and delighted to discover that it was not, in fact, a dark read, rather a story on the lighter side within a mafia theme. Alessia and Nico humorously spar off in this romantic suspense novella; she, confident, sassy, and talkative, especially when nervous (and she’s placed in an unexpected circumstance); and he, the broody, silent type. Her unawares and frank disregard of his being pushed to exacerbating limits were hilarious.
The beginning was prosy until the story took off. A kidnapping gone wrong: A faster pace story with a premise for more, I enjoyed this romance for its characters, uniqueness - a mafia romance that’s not dark — and comedic respite from heavier themes.

Serendipity was such a fun read that had me laughing out loud so many times! It was such a different story by LK Reid but still felt very much hers and I loved that.
Alesia is mistakingly kidnapped by the mafia and reacts in a way most people wouldn’t dream of. demanding and awkward. Nico, leader of the mafia, is immediately enraptured by her courage (displayed through her demands and awkwardness) and knows she’s it for him.
I’m really excited that this isn’t the end of their story and can’t wait for more!

no way that’s it 😭😭 the “for now” at the end had me flipping the page over and over to make sure it was real !!!! this is such an unserious novella … I NEED MOREEEEE OMG 💥💳 there’s also instant lust and captive / captor trope which i just absolutely gobbled up. this is on the lighter side of mafia romances but its just so funny. especially alessia 😂 that girl had me CRACKING UP !!
i love quick and straight to the point novellas like this but also leaving room for what’s to come so much !! alessia and nico are so cute 🥰 the way i immediately fell in love with alessia omg 🖤 she’s so hilarious and i feel like if this was a full length novel she would absolutely steal the show 🙌🏼 she was accidentally kidnapped and she just kept annoying her captors 😂 as someone who also loves to yap, i totally related to her LOL !! i wish i got to read nico’s pov 😩 i feel like that man was immediately obsessed the second he laid eyes on alessia. but he fell hard and fast the moment she opened her mouth. he literally couldn’t help but laugh and smile around her 🥹

This is, what I didn’t know I needed right now. A novella that is short and sweet but funny and action packed! I love how @authorlkreid wrote the character for Alessia. She is strong and funny and surprises Nico after he kidnaps her 😂 Nico is the mafia boss who kidnaps the wrong girl but falls for her instantly. Their push and pull is magnetic and it was a great little story.

This was so fun. I mean, the dedication said it all:

Alessia finds herself in the unlikely situation of being mistaken with another person by the mafia and gets kidnapped, and I couldn’t stop laughing at everything she thought and said.
This novella was short, fun and with a little bit of spice. And it even had drama! I mean, is the mafia, how could it not. If you want a quick and really enjoyable read this is it.

A short standalone novella, A kidnapping gone wrong. Alessia is kidnapped in error, a mistaken identity and she annoys her kidnappers as she won't stop talking. When the Mafia boss Nico spends time with her, he realizes he wants her by his side for the rest of her life.
This is an inta connection story which won't be for everyone. The FOR Now ending has me looking forward to see if these two get a full length novel.

I absolutely love Leila's books! I was really excited to try this book since it is outside her normal dark romance genre. I really enjoyed the insta-connection between Alessia and Nico. I liked that the book said The End For Now. I am really hoping to get more of Alessia and Nico's story in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like insta-connection romances.

Fans of InstaLust with a sassy, witty FMC that slings out quips like hotcakes than this is a book you will love.
The FMC keeps the comedy level at a high while the Mafiaesque MMC brings in the lust hot and heavy, add in a few side characters and a whoops wrong person scenario and you have a Serendipitous meet cute.

Well this was exactly what I needed.
To all of us that would be returned within five minutes after getting kidnapped.
This is me, honestly my parents always said they weren't worried about me being taken by anyone as they would bring me back once they realised I don't shut up.
The ramblings that Alessia goes through are hilarious and had me cringing for her at what would happen if she didn't just keep her mouth shut. She was perfectly made for Nico and he found her so amusing he just had to have her for himself.
I hope we get to come back to this story in the future and see how these two are getting on, or whether Nico has smothered Alessia in her sleep due to her mouth running away with itself.

like alessia, i think i’d laugh, don’t know wether to be excited or scared because this is the most excitement you’ve had in a while, and be pissed as heck too if i were hangry. i absolutely loved the heroine and was able to relate to her on so many levels. as for our hero, i think i might’ve found another book boyfriend.

This was a fabulous short story with great characters and plenty of action and heat. I can't wait to read more from this author as well. I enjoyed the storytelling very much.

I enjoyed this! Alessia is strong, snarky, sarcastic, and hilarious. I loved her. I’m not usually a fan of books that are insta-love (I prefer slow burn or at least medium burn), but for this novella it worked. And I really liked it. I needed something short but that still had some depth to it. And it looks like there may be a full-length story in the works? If so, I’ll definitely be reading that when it comes out.

Who doesn’t love a fun, feisty and super sassy FMC that is exactly what you get in Alessia. The things that come out of her mouth will have you chuckling to yourself. Nico is every bit the alpha you want and need with his sexy AF self and these two together are fire. This little gem is something completely different from this author and truly a breath of fresh air and was everything I needed right now. If you are looking for a quick action packed steamy read then this is for you.

Nice Romano the hot Italian mafia leader stud muffin wanted someone else kidnapped but got Alessia instead.
It was instalove, some drama, a little steam, and some romantic and chivalrous words and acts.
Alessia and her thoughts had me laughing more than once. Nico is a soft snuggly love dovey man for being a big bad mafia dude.
It's a standalone and super short quick read so you'd need to read it to know more 😉

I knew if I tasted this forbidden fruit, my boring life would be the one I would gladly leave behind for him.
LK Reid surprises us with this fun, little quick novella, and I’m not at all surprised that I loved every second of it. This short little story continues to show the different styles of writing LK Reid knows how to do. We normally get dark, heavy romances, but Serendipity will make you smile and laugh throughout the whole thing.
Our main characters couldn’t be more different; Alessia is a quirky, sassy little thing, while Nico is swoony and intense. With a mafia themed romance, Serendipity is a kidnapping gone wrong, and Alessia makes sure for that to be known with her sarcastic witty ways and word vomit.
The attraction is quite quick and so is the romance. They’re both equally smitten. I wish this was full length. While this had everything you want in a novella, with LK Reid’s writing style I quickly became addicted to this story. This has a happy for now ending that I really need a happily ever after.
If you’re looking for something light to read, this is definitely one that I recommend.

OOOH Leila did such a great job with this novella . Its definitely different from her previous work, which is more on the dark side . But this was really well written extremely cute and makes you wonder what obstacles Nico & Alessia have to face in the future . I need to know what else is in store for this couple, I'm looking forward to see what else the author comes up with as this is an Happy For Now story .

When LK said this wasn't dark romance, she wasn't kidding because it's honestly nothing like her previous books. I laughed so hard through the entire story. Alessia is quirky and it's just her luck that she would be accidently kidnapped after the day she's having. Nico is an intense mafia boss, but there's something about his perfect looks that makes Alessia short circuit and not react the way she should in her peculiar situation. Nico becomes smitten with everything Alessia is because shes not what he expected, literally. These two are hilarious and their instant attraction is something I didn't know I needed in this novella. I can't wait to hopefully see more of them in the future!

😂😂😂 I don’t think I’ve ever started a review with laughing emojis but this one warrants it. This was completely unexpected from LK Reid. I’m used to dark and twisted from her but as soon as I started this novella, I was laughing. It’s kind of like dark romantic comedy. The heroine in this book is high spirited, brave borderline reckless but she’s hilarious. When she finds herself in the middle of kidnapping gone wrong, her reaction is priceless. 😂 This is a short, insta-love/lust, mafia novella that I honestly wish was full length. I’d love to read more from these characters.

Okay, this novella kicked ass! It made me smile, laugh and fall in love with Nico and Alessia! I need this to be just the start of their relationship! More books showing how these two take the happy for now and transition it into happy ever after! They were awesome. A novella isn't enough!
If you're looking for an an introduction to the authors writing style (even if it's the lightest of the dark romances she writes) I have to say that I'm sold! I'll definitely be seeking out more of what she has to offer in full-length novel form.
