Perfect ending for Emersyn, Hendrix, Caspian, and River.

After being kidnapped, Syn is confronted with her ex mate and his pack. Her men do whatever it takes to find her but is it enough?

Loved their ending! A lot happened in this book and I was hooked. I wasn’t so sure of Hendrix in the last book but he definitely redeemed himself. Caspian is amazing in my eyes - I just love everything about him. Even River comes around and makes Syn the center of his universe. Happy everything works out for them. LOVED THE EPILOGUE 😍

interesting

Second book was interesting to say the least, somethings were strange to me and somethings made me understand the story a lot more. But the Storyline was pretty good some twists and turns in there I’m glad I gave it a go though.

After the way Real Alphas Bite ended, I wasn't sure how things would pan out in Real Alphas Mate... Thankfully the book picks up right were we left off in RAB but I was heated!

Syn was healing and happy with the Hendrix, Caspian and River, but things just had to go to complete shit for her again! At one point I honestly thought I was going to riot after how things played out, but Syn was finally reunited with her mates.

I was cautiously optimistic though, barely halfway into the book and HEA in sight??? Absolutely not. I knew some shenanigans were about to go down and I was right! Unexpected plot twist after unexpected plot twist happened in the last like 40% of the book, and shit went down.

After so much BS there is a happy ending, and honestly it was everything Syn and her mates deserved!

Definitely more of a character driven book than the last one.

This is the second book of the Alpha-hole Duet series. These books are also included in the Reject Island series. While the initial book in this duet was more plot driven, this one is definitely more character driven. We find out a lot about the brother’s back story, and is heartbreaking. The bulk of this story more of the relationship between our 4 main characters. This book picks up right where the previous book left off. The brothers are determined to get Syn back from her mate who rejected her

I admit, I didn’t care for this book. I felt the flow was off and the storyline too disjointed. Here’s my problems . . .

1). There a pretty big plot hole in the first part of the book.

2) This book is also tagged as an omegaverse book, but it most definitely isn’t. That there are a lot of alphas floating around is the ONLY thing remotely related to that genre. So if you want an omegaverse book, better to pass on this.

3) Hendrix was such a strong alpha in the first book (yummy too) and he seemed to be nearly neutered in this book to the point that he almost is more like a supporting character. But then this is my conundrum with romance books. I love all the feels, the strong guy that comes undone with his mate blah blah blah, but when it comes down to it, I still want him to be a strong man. These “mate bonds” turn the men into simps more often than not. I think that is one reason why I just didn’t enjoy this book as much as the first one. I think there are ways to have a strong alpha male be tender with his mate without turning him into a pathetic shell of a man. (Sorry, harsh, I know)

4) The last third of the book now has a “magic” component that, for the most part, came out of nowhere. I found it just made the book more disjointed rather than help to tie up loose ends. I don’t know, maybe it was just me.

One thing I did like was the final couple of chapters. They were epilogues, 2 of them. One 4 months later and the final one another month after that. I love reading stories with epilogues that have more of a time jump than just a couple of days. But alas, it wasn’t enough to save the book for me. While I really enjoyed the first book of this duet series, I didn’t like this one.

Betrayed by one of their own…

We pick up with a backstory prologue that will squeeze your heart for Hendrix, River and Caspian. Chapter 1 picks up where book 1 of this Alpha-Hole duet series ends.
Syns alphas come for her, sending body parts everywhere in their attempt to get to her. After an explosion she is separated from them and taken again.

Syn has been taken by the government to the city. She’s told there were no survivors after the explosions during her alphas rescue attempt. They try to get information from her about the location of the alphas island but she’s not talking because she really doesn’t know anything. They set her up in an apartment and enroll her into college, time goes by slowly. 5 months after Syn believes her alphas were killed she sees someone that reminds her of Hendrix while she’s out with a friend. She follows but loses him.
She is rescued by Hendrix after “a friend of a friend” escorts her home and tries to attack her.
Reunited with Hendrix, River and Caspian you’d think that would be there HEA but there is an outside force putting them all in danger.
Her alphas will do whatever they can to save Syn and their future.
This ends with a HEA but there were some trials that had to be fought to get it.
I enjoyed the epilogue and the glimpse into their future. A good conclusion to this duet and a wonderful addition to the Reject Island series!

This book picks up right where book 2 ended! Thank goodness, because I was at a loss with book 1 ending. Back in Brayden's clutches, Syn is lost without her guys, wondering if they too feel the same way. When Hendricks, River and Caspian show up with their army in tow, no one expected the night to go as it did.

The book fast forward's and Syn is now in school living her life but feeling empty. The void she has is unable to be filled. When the guys show back up it feels like Syn is finally going to be getting her HEA! Just kiddding......the authors throw us for a loop of trials we did not see coming to save a life and then only after, are we gifted with the best ending.

This steamy duet was awesome, but it left me wanting more. I wanted to know more. I wanted to know the story behind Syn's father. The story behind Hendricks fated mate...And what ever happened to Brayden. We assume what happened, but just like with the guys - are we realllly sure? The authors noted at the end, that the Khan Pack story isn't over quiet yet, so I'm hopeful and looking forward to more!

*Overall 4/5
*Heat 4/5
*Fast Burn
*First person POV (All main characters)
*Ends on HEA

At times, dark and brutal, and at others sweet and silly. This story traverses the extremes and covers everything else in between while doing it. I really didn’t have any expectations going into this book, other than to know that I NEEDED to find out how it would end. That was probably a good thing, because what I just read would have blown any expectations out of the water. My heart still breaks for everything Syn and her alphas go through in order to get to their Happy Ever After, but the strength and resilience they show is awe inspiring. I adored that ending and I’m so excited to learn that we may not be completely done with these characters just yet.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

I'd say book two of this series definitely took a turn. In book one there was a heavy plot line, mystery and intrigue. I felt in book two once Syn was back with her men it became more about their relationship and there didn't seem to be as much action as earlier on in the book. There is one bit where you get a little more action but that was it. Instead, the characters build their relationships, something they didn't really get a chance to do in the first book. Not that this is an issue, I just feel personally like it made the story a little slower than the first.

Overall it was a good conclusion to the first book, and be warned there is an epilogue that you need to sign up to the author's newsletter to receive but you can get away with not reading it, that's entirely up to you. The story wraps up nicely for Syn and her men and they do get their HEA in the end.

Real Alphas Mate picks up shortly after book 1, Syn has been captured and the guys are trying to get her back. In book 1, I had some mixed feelings about the guys, but I loved them here. They all figure out their feelings for Syn, and we get to see their relationships grow — and some serious steam too :) This was a great duet!

This is a great conclusion to this duet. It’s a well written story where we find Syn, River, Hendrix and Caspian put to the test at every turn. Action packed and extremely steamy this is highly addictive and unputdownable and I especially love the multiple pov’s. You get some back story in this second book and you also get to see the bond between them strengthen and grow and you also get a few surprises along the way.

This book picks up right where Real Alphas Bite left off and yes reading in order is a must here. I love both authors and this co-write is really great. The worldbuilding is awesome and also the relationships development is fantastic. Now that the guys are more open and willing to share their emotions. The drama however is still there but I enjoyed we are given an equal amount of romance and action here. Recommend for sure.

amazing duet

After book one's cliffhanger, I was anxious to see what book 2 brought to the table. It didn't disappoint. There was action, drama, sex and all the feelings. I definitely recommend this series.

Such a great ending to the series! Tons of crazy twists and turns throughout the whole book. Just as you think things are starting to turn out for the crew, Syn and her men get hit with trial after trial! I loved the epilogue! It was great getting a glimpse into their future!!

Great ending!

We thought Syn was going to gave her HEA with her mates, but things didn't go as planned. There is always something that gets in their way, but I believe in them and I know they'll figure out a way to be all together.

The ending was perfect, and I couldn't have imagined anything different.

Yay for HEA! 😍

I thoroughly enjoyed the ending of this duet. Came with a big twist I didn't see coming, plenty of action and lots of steam. 😉 Had a perfect HEA, completely resolving everything. 😍 If you haven't read these yet, you really should give them a go. 😊

30% of this book concludes almost everything from book 1 and then starts what I like to call...
The Longest Epilogue Ever!
by 70% the author had to throw something into the mix to make things interesting again but by 80% we were back on the epilogue. If you really loved the characters from book 1 then absolutely read book 2, if, like me, book 1 was kind of average on the interest level then save some time and skip book 2 not much happens after the first 30%
In fact, I'll just tell you what happened...

Now that I have written it all out it kind of seems like a lot happened but it really didn't. That was really all the plot points👆.

“I was dying without you, little wolf,” he murmured, and I shivered at the ache in his voice.

What an awesome conclusion!! It was so sad waiting for the guys and Syn to find their way back to one another. The not knowing if it would happen and wondering if everyone survived the bomb from book ones cliffy. I felt broken along side these characters.

So, C.R. Jane and Mila Young are FAST becoming my favorite writing duo! I am loving everything they have written together (and separately) but together they are fire! Make sure you read this duet...you will not be disappointed!

Oh my…so much heat 🌡🔥! Real Alphas Mate is full of drama, angst, secrets, revelations, twists, turns, things going sideways, all the feels, and so so hot🔥🌡!! I love PNR romances, shifter romances, and RH romances because they take you to far away worlds and once you are hooked there is no turning back. Real Alphas Mate is no exception! Not to mention they are so very very hot🔥🌡. I absolutely loved RAM (Real Alphas Mate) for all those reasons I listed above and the fact that C.R. And Mila know how to make a world come alive with intrigue and imagination. I would love to be in their minds as they create these wonderful romances that just captures your attention and doesn’t let go. I can’t wait to read more rejected mate romances from C.R. Jane and Mila Young. I believe next up is Wild Kiss from the Kingdom of Wolves series! I love all of the strong heroine and the men (or should I say wolves) that love them and I love when they realize their own strengths and overcome their challenges and issues!! C.R. Jane and Mila Young are fantastic authors who are both on my favorite author list. Not only do I love the paranormal romances they write but I also love their contemporary and new adult romances too. I am waiting with bated breathe for Make Me Burn from C.R. Jane’s and May Dawson’s Rich Demon’s of Darkwood series that is coming out soon. As I am sure you can tell already that I highly recommend Real Alphas Mate, Kingdom of Wolves series, Reject Island series, C.R. Jane and Mila Young as authors. Happy reading!!

So, finally, I have finished this. It took me almost 4 days, but considering that I'm not fit at the moment, it's not that bad. Though, a little delay came from the book itself. As I have already mentioned in the review for the first book, I had my issues with this. And that I didn't know that it was a duet.

Meaning now, that I had difficulties to get into the story again. I haven't forgotten all, but it isn't as present either. And it wasn't that intense for me. More like an okay read. Sure, it still has its darker touch. But I don't know… It wasn't enough.

Of course, there were twists and turns in the book. Though, I wasn't convinced. So, I was disappointed. Though, it was a cute ending and a HEA they deserved.

But definitely not my favorite book/story in the Rejected Island series. I'm still between 3.5 to 4 stars. But it was unique and had a different take on the concept. That has to count for something. So, I round up to 4 stars.

Real Alphas Mate is the exciting conclusion to the Alpha-hole duology, C.R. Jane and Mila Young have done a great job. This book went in a totally different direction than I thought it would, I was pleasantly surprised.

The alphas have changed. After every that happened with Syn, the guys are more open, more willing to admit their feelings and the building emotional connections they have with her. The guys basically have turned into big softies and it's adorable. As for Syn, she is one tough cookie, she's strong and now knows she's worth being loved, that she can be happy. Syn's and the guys' relationship has fully evolved in this one where they are equal partners and the guys are considerate but very protective.

The story picks up right where it left off. There was so much drama and a fair amount of deaths with attacks, rescue missions, and a couple of plot twists. There was also this horror movie moment that totally shocked me and now has me asking all kinds of questions, about this world, about the alphas, and about Syn. This book was equal parts action and emotional moments, both had me equally invested in the story.

Real Alphas Mate was a great read. I loved the surprising conclusion to Syn's story. There was also a hint that the author duo might not be done with Syn and the alphas yet, you can certainly consider my interest piqued.

Summary:
Syn lives with her 3 alpha shifter men and finally sees a future for herself. Only she gets abducted by her fated mate. The one that rejected her. He wants revenge and isn’t alone in this. Will the 3 alphas come for her in time and will they succeed?

Review:
Real alphas mate is the 2nd and therefore final book in the Alpha-Hole duology. It is a reverse harem, paranormal romance, involving Syn and her three alphas.
The cover shows Syn, 2 of her 3 alpha wolves and a full moon. It gives a good image on how the alphas are but I do think Syn looks a bit too bad ass for how she really is. I really do love her hair though.
They authors are C.R. Jane & Mila Young, who both have written multiple successful fantasy series before and they have done it again with this series. I’ve read Real alphas bite (book 1) before this and the second book is as good as the first.
I liked that the story is written from the perspectives of all the main characters (Syn and the 3 alphas). This because they all have different personalities so you are going to love one (or more) of them either way. And with 3 hot men the book is filled with heat.
Typically shifter stories end when the main characters choose for each other or find each other and live happily ever after and when I looked like this story was going in that direction there was a plottwist that I just loved. This made the story really exciting and I couldn’t wait to find out how it would end.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "REAL ALPHA'S MATE" WOW!!! What a wild emotional rollercoaster ride full of suspense, intrigue, secrets, angst, abuse danger, betrayal, violence, plenty of steamy scenes, humor, heartache, past trauma, twists you never saw coming such an addicting story your hooked.
Hendrix, River & Caspian their mother left them at a young age leaving them with their psychotic father who was very abusive.
Syn never believed in fairtytales her life had been very traumatic until three gorgeous Alpha's came into her life stealing her from her abusive fate mate Brayden who rejected her used her line a slave.
Hendrix, River & Caspian were out for revenge when Syn was stolen from them by Brayden her worst nightmare will they be able to save her this time.
I definitely recommend to get this excellent well written story you just can put down to have one man be so devoted to your ever whim is a dream but three hot as sin Alpha's that will do anything to save & protect you OMG!!! where do you sign up.
I loved the chemistry between Syn, Hendrix, River,

Real Alphas Mate is the Reject Island follow up to Real Alphas Bite. An entry in the world of shifters, the book actually didn't hold too much shifting action, and while there was attraction of course, the overwhelming draw of pheromones and animal driven instincts were lower than other books I've read. For that reason, I would suggest this duet as a beginning entry for anyone unsure about this sort of paranormal or shifting trope. C.R. Jane and Mila Young both have an impressive back catalog of books, and their veteran writing skills are on display here. Real Alphas Mate deals with the first book's loose ends in a spectacular way. There is resolution of the long arcing plot as expected, but just as satisfying, is the quintessential romance trope ending. The deed is in the title so nothing is being spoiled, but all wolves deserve a mate, and Syn finally has hers, along with all their quirks, an adventure to an island borne out of desperation, and some heart wrenching sacrifices. All in all, it is a light-on-the-wolf shifter duet conclusion that has one of the most satisfying conclusions I've read in a while.

This story is mind-blowing and full of page-turning adventure. You will get characters that will do anything to survive and love freely. It's a powerful story of acceptance and finding who you are. Syn falls for the dangerous alphas that teach her that you can be loved and protected without losing yourself.

Syn is the star of this beautiful duet. She teaches us that no matter how hard things get, we can survive and find happiness. Syn faced some challenging situations and never let them change her. Syn stood up for herself and never let her enemies defeat or break her.

Syn was always able to smile in front of the danger because she learned she was a badass female with the love of her alphas. They taught her she had the strength and power inside of her and that she would never have to fight alone. They form a beautifully broken family that loves each other to the fullest.

You will love Real Alphas Mate because this story is a magical masterpiece of love and a must-read duet!

Alpha ever after 😄
After the brutal ending of Real Alphas Bite you wondered whether Syn and her men would get their chance, or indeed ever see eye to eye!
This book is a total up and downer….there’s kidnap, rescues, bombs, separation, resurrections and betrayals! You honestly think oh that’s it maybe we’re getting to the happy part but noooo these two ladies just throw something else at you! 🙈
At least along the journey Sun, Caspian, River and Hendrix actually start to open up and talk to each other, forming actual connections rather than just prisoner and kidnappers 😄and honestly they’re real connections underneath it all are just 😍 it’s also helps that there is some real primal connections between them that lead to some HAWT scenes! You have to love their alphahole controlling possessiveness but thankfully Sun does bring out their slightly softer sides 🥰
Rest assured Syn and her men do get the HEA they deserve, it’s rocky, but they get there 😁

This book picks up right where book 1 left off. Which was a doozy, so if you haven’t read that, this isn’t a standalone run and read that…you can thank me later. Now, after an epic flashback that was gut wrenching and heartbreaking for the guys, we flash back to the present. Syn has been taken while Rivers been knocked out, and of course nothing is ever easy when you’re the bad guy. With the guys running weapons, it’s no surprise they’ve got massive targets on their backs and so does Syn by association. When crap hits the fan and everyone’s world explodes, it’s up to Syn to be the strong one. With her old pack she was always the weak under the radar wolf. And now… we’ll now the tables have turned and it’s a sweet sweet dish…best served cold. This duet is one of my favorites by these authors and a definite 1-click.

I was so excited to get this book especially after the way book one left us like dang that cliffy was pretty hefty. I am glad we find out what and where Syn is pretty quickly and it wasn’t dragged out but let me tell you things are not looking good for her. This woman is a fighter though and I will admit there are some tears that were shed. I really love Syn’s character and everything that she has been through I know she was questioning how much her alphas really care but gurl…. There is no question her alpha’s are freaking everything and she is their world if even not all of them admitted it. We quickly learn just how much she means to them when they realize she is gone and they would burn the world to the ground to get her back. Nothing worth having is easy and their relationship took work but they got their HEA in the end and the spicy times be got were everything!!
