This is going to be short. It wasn’t good, and I don’t think it’s even available anymore in the Kindle store. If you like this genre, you know it’s slim pickings, so I was excited when I saw this and preordered it. I’ll quickly go over each story, but they all felt very juvenile and unpolished… like something you’d write in HS.

Fae Wolf Rejected - incomplete story… It starts with the h (Leia) on her mating day walking in on her cousin (Sutton) screwing her future mate (Brad). She kills Sutton and maims Brad, and it abruptly ends with her BFF busting her out of prison.

A Pack of Lies- This one isn’t a true rejected mate. The H (Erik) wants to find his mate, but a witch (Pricilla) cast a spell on him putting him under her control. When Harper (the h) comes to town she recognizes him immediately as her mate, but Pricilla snaps her fingers, and he rejects her. The rest of the story is him chasing after her when the spell breaks. It felt green- the mc’s were young acting, the sex scenes were awkward. Both are virgins, he never had sex with the witch.

Runaway Mate- This one was silly, The h is a wolf shifter and meets her mate, a fairy in a bar. They hook up and she immediately runs from him for no real reason knowing he’ll eventually die from the rejection.

The Wrong Kind of Shifter- Bea is a wolf shifter who has met her mate Colt, but they’re not compatible. He wants to embrace the old chauvinistic shifter ways and she wants to be a green thumb, plant- loving, climate activist, and I’m not ashamed to speak my mind. 🙄 They separate, and she meets an alligator shifter Knox. Stuff happens, Colt and his uncle turn into caricature villains. Bea learns about hybrid shifter, evidently if Knox bites her arm she’ll turn into an alligator/wolf hybrid. Another one where the writing felt green. Characters were very young feeling; the world building was missing… we just got pulled along with the plot.

Devishi- This one was super boring. I skimmed most of it.

Bewitching My Werewolf- This one is random with too much going on. The h is a dwarf and lands in an alternative universe (with her sisters) and meets her mate a wolf shifter. He has a dead mate and doesn’t recognize her as his mate and blows her off. Meanwhile one sis finds her mate a Lion shifter and the other sister meets hers, a dragon shifter. The dragon shifter carts off the sis, so the h, sis, and lion shifter go after her. Meanwhile the H realizes she might be his mate.

Bottom Line- I don’t think this is in the Kindle Store any longer, but I wouldn’t recommend spending $$ on it. Every story felt green, almost like the authors are either very young or new to writing.

I didn't like that the first book in the anthology is unfinished!
The other stories were just ok for me. My favorite and the only book I would rate at 3 ⭐️ is A Pack of Lies. Not rated higher as it is a short story and as such the characters are underdeveloped.

Not trying to be mean, but if it isn't a collection of stories/drafts from a high school english class... yeeeesh

Most of these stories were pretty rough and rushed even for short stories. I think the only one I enjoyed was Pack of Lies by Jessica Lynch.

Great stories! Except for one.

This anthology has a lot of very hot stories. Again, I have found more new authors and series. Oh by the way, 3rd story from the end has no sex. It's a sweet clean story. That was the only hiccup for me. Not bad.
