Thriller Indeed, Nonstop
Finally got to read this signature Stephen Taylor book, and it was fantastic.
Yes, it’s a bit gory at times, and the hero gets beat up and recovered many ways, but he wins out over a powerful and evil mafia mob in the end.
Not initially my kind of book, but I finished grinning in satisfaction.

This book glues the reader to it with fast paced action leaving you wanting more,looking forward to reading the rest of the series!

Exciting and Suspenseful
Danny has working by the government, but has left to visit his brother and his mother who is dying. He runs into Russian gangsters that want to kill brother and take his business. The characters, both good and evil, are realistic and unusual. The writing is easy to read, and the story makes it hard to put it down. Although the action is taken to Russia before the ending. The continue suspense keeps the story great.

Great read looking forward to the next one…..
First one of the series I’ve read…thoroughly enjoyed it great characters, lots of action and a reasonable plot, that definitely sets up the foundation to be a good series…Now it’s on to the next one.

Another takeoff action packed thriller to delight

Danny is a great protagonist, yes it's been done before but if you like Bourne, Teacher Eric then this is up there if not better. It's the fastest I've read a book for a long time and looked forward to picking it up every time.

100mph from start to finish
If you like Nick Stone & Jack Reacher you'll enjoy this book. Great story telling that had me turning the pages as quick as I could. Obviously there will be those out there who will rubbish it as unrealistic, but remember it's just a story 😉, not real life. To that end, it's a great story. Can't wait to read the next one

Another Rollercoaster Ride of Action
As with my first Danny Pearson thriller, Vodka and Jellied Eels doesn't hold back.
It's blisteringly fast paced and brutally punchy.
The story stands on its own, but people who read Execution of Faith will enjoy the involvement of many of the same characters as the first book.
Enjoy the twists and turns while I'm busy writing the third book in the series Beware the Chinaman which will be available early 2020

Not sure why this is titled Vodka & Jellied Eels - my copy was Vodka Over Ice and was Danny Pearson #1 not #2. However I thoroughly enjoyed this book. My first by this author. I thought it was well written, the characters - maybe a little over the top - but still believable. Very similar to many other books - ex-special forces disenchanted, family tragedy, gets caught up in things they shouldn't have - it was full of action and kept me ion the edge of my seat. Will definitely be reading the rest of the series.

An absolutely brilliant read. There is action all the way with no unnecessary padding. In fact you will find it hard to put down once you start it as I got totally engrossed when I was reading it! There were a couple of things though. I’ve never heard of a gun nozzle but I have heard of a gun muzzle and I always thought that you spelled aircraft hangar with two A’s but I could be wrong. Overall though this was equally as good as any Jack Reacher book the I have read.

There was action on every page but little in terms of storyline. The protagonist who's just returned home gets caught between two mobsters - one being his uncle who is all good and other the Russians who are pure evil. Once the war breaks out, the story is nothing but you killed mind I killed yours. And this is how the story ends finally with the hero coming at top. I expected a better storyline but was disappointed in the end. Not sure if I'll try another book in the series.

Had a good time reading this book. Character was well defined and explained. I like the storyline. I look forward to reading the next few books. I enjoyed the fact that while this book is written by an English writer, it was still somewhat readable for those in the US. Often I find that there’s too much English vernacular that’s not understandable. Not the case in this book.

A gripping story
Another adventure of Dan Pearson from Stephen Taylor, and it's exceedingly good. It moves fast, with very strong characters, some extremely nasty and others not. Not only that, but it all comes over as utterly believable and thoroughly enjoyable. I'll get more books by Stephen, but first I think I need a calming down after all the excitement.

A brill ride again great action thriller Danny was a member of special forces and is now in security after loosing his wife ans son to a ruthless killer Spike !and use his skill to on his missions characters are good Luv his friend Scott's sense of humour from page one until the end great read throughout .

Another great read. Lots of action and different sub stories all under one title. The author gives just the right amount of background history into all of the main players who feature in the book. This is a great series and I am just about to start the latest book called, Beware the Chinaman’. A huge thanks to the author Stephen Taylor and a well deserved 5 stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

tasty international book with a bit of everything
I can’t make my mind up whether I like Danny Pearson, but one thing is sure, he is surrounded by a collection of contemptible characters. Fast moving, sufficient twists to keep you turning the page. Well worth a dive in and see if you like the temperature.

Really enjoyed it couldn't put it down lol made it more enjoyable because he is English lol not an over muscled American good writing helps and good story line would recommend to anyone going get my next dose of him now lol
