The story that’s been building for years is here! Wilson Fisk went from Kingpin to mayor of the biggest city in America and is going to bring his full criminal and political power to bear on the super heroes who call NYC home. The man who once destroyed Daredevil has set his sights on The Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and more. And since it’s Fisk, once he takes them all down, you know he’s going to sign it. CROSSBONES! TASKMASTER! TYPHOID MARY! SHOCKER! WHIPLASH! RHINO! KRAVEN! I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it was a little better than I thought it would be. Mostly focused on street-level heroes like Daredevil, of course. But the Fantastic Four and some Avengers are present. It's a nice little story about Kingpin taking over New York and outlawing superheroes. This isn't terribly original, but at least it's getting back to the idea that was quietly shoved aside and forgotten during that "Kamalah's Law" nonsense-- that it's ALREADY against the law for adults to function as vigilantes.

This book definitely gives off some Civil War vibes. Luckily, it does have its differences. Wilson Fisk feels like Daredevil has messed with his mind and has enacted a super hero ban in NY out of spite. A souped up police force is going around trying to arrest super heroes. There are a few other interesting plot points bubbling up as well. Looking forward to issue #2.

More fun than I expected. I’m burnt out on events, so not buying them, but did read this on Marvel Unlimited. Fisk knows he can’t remember who Daredevil really is - and he’s furious someone has messed around with his memories; he bans super heroes in New York City - well, anyone using powers - and uses super villains as the Thunderbolts to arrest anyone who does use their powers.

This includes superheroes saving people from fires, and the Fantastic Four - although that appears to be to get control of Reed’s lab for Otto Octavius, aka Doctor Octopus.

It makes sense as an event that heroes in New York would get involved with, ties into past events seamlessly, and it’s and enjoyable story. Reading two nest, although I don’t think three is one MU yet…

A continuation from the monthly Daredevil series (which is on hold?). Loved this first issue, I feel it smacks of past stories that have dealt with "outlawing" superheroes, and having bad-guys taking their place. Sort of a misguided Big Brother society. I have issue #2 on hand and it looks like a few spin off issues will be included as well.

A really solid first issue. Love Luke's speech and the part with fantastic four home getting attacked and miles was also great. Ready for more.

This is the first issue of 6-issue strong series Devil’s Reign. A year after Trump lost elections, Marvel decided to dig up the fact that Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) is the mayor of New York and decided it’ll be nice to have him as a presidential candidate for the POTUS and a man, who decided (and he hasn’t been first, IIRC, but my knowledge of last 30 years of their universe is very limited) to ban vigilantes activities in the city. Moreover, he faces once again is usual opponent – Daredevil, whose file from Kingpin’s safe suddenly turned unreadable and his own memory of the identity of Daredevil is also lost.

Fisk gives Thunderbolts rights to prosecute vigilantes

And they are, as usual, are beaten
dr3
But nevertheless heroes hide and start pathos speeches about never again. Several more skirmishes, which once again show ineptness of villains and Fisk it seems tries to get a superpower...

Wah, premisnya menarik.

Sebagai walikota New York.

Zdarsky's Masterpiece!

This is the seminal work that has fueled the new Disney+ series Born Again and spawned a plethora of comic spin-offs under the moniker of 'Devil's Reign'! My collection of print comics contains the original 6 comics in this series, a most collectable series of comics that will only grow in value as time moves forward. Zdarsky's storytelling will be ranked among the greats like Frank Miller, in the ages to come. Mark my words!

A great first issue, but way overpriced. There’s no excuse for charging six bucks just to finally put a cover made of decent card stock on a book. If Spawn can do it and only charge $2.99, then so can Marvel. Maybe they need to stop wasting their money on all these overpriced YA authors whose comics barely sell.

Una especie de Civil War restringida a New York y con Kingpin como malo. No sorprende porque ya lo hemos leído hace tiempo. A ver cómo evoluciona
