Mixed Blessings is a thoroughly researched and excellently written collection of writings about the complexities of navigating interfaith Jewish-Christian relationships. It includes anecdotes from the authors themselves about their own lives as well as the lives of the couples they counsel. Their advice is spot on. Definitely recommended if you are in an interfaith relationship. It clearly talks about the difficulties and challenges, but also the joys and the hope of what is surmountable when couples focus on the love they have for each other and for their faith. 5 stars

I enjoyed this book. Written in the 80s, it gave me a window into my parents' early 90s intermarriage. It was a bit repetitive and definitely dated but that was part of the charm: revisiting a world where many Holocaust survivors were still alive and their children were dealing with that secondhand trauma.
