When one Alpha's son rejected her. Another is willing to save her.
Galen's protection means Talia can stay close to home and feel safe. Or so she thought. There's no feeling safe with the demons around. The witches are going insane and the wolves are showing unparalleled aggression.
Galen does everything he can to save his pack, and Talia, but when the Northwood pack attacks in the middle of the night, they come for blood. The witches fight with Galen's wolves, and the vampires fight with the Northwood wolves.
Chaos will reign as long as the Demons have their way.

Talia & Galen and his pack are still in danger. Talia isn’t safe and Galen will do anything to keep her safe. With demons overtaking everyone, no one is safe. Talia & Galen are great together and I can’t wait too read what will happen next.
I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This is book two of The Shifter Rejected series and the main characters are Talia and Galen. Talia had to watch her father being executed by her former pack, on the alpha’s command, rejected by her mate, the alpha’s son Maddox, and then banished from their lands under pain of death. She was captured on her way out of the area by Galen, the alpha son of the current alpha in the neighbouring rival pack. Once he figured out she was no use as a pawn to hold against the other pack, she was released to his father’s home, under his protection, and given the job of helping look after his father Max, the current alpha, who was dying from some unknown illness. She can’t leave the pack lands otherwise she might be attacked and killed and even going into town, she needs company to keep her safe. Witches are their enemy, but when there is word of witches going crazy in the nearby town, Galen and his Enforcers must try to make them stop shooting out spells and setting everything on fire, especially before any humans are injured. Afterwards, Galen gets approached by a small group of witches asking for sanctuary on their pack lands, as it seems demons have been infecting some and driving them crazy, as they have all seen. As Galen is only acting alpha, in his father’s absence through illness, he leaves them and goes to speak with his father rather than make a promise he may not be able to keep. You certainly don’t want to annoy a witch if you can help it! Galen thought he had made a pact with Talia’s alpha, after dominating him in battle, but when she almost comes under attack in town with one of his beta’s and a lone wolf they took in, he is not happy. More danger is to come as the Northwood pack attack one night, accompanied by vampires, which is highly unusual. They have not come of their own violation, as they are showing signs of demon possession, but the old hatreds between the packs and especially towards Talia, knows no bounds. Luckily, the witches Galen allowed to have safe haven on their lands, come to the rescue and help to save many with their magic, but the costs of the attack are still very high. Max is helped somewhat by one of the young witches they let in, but his illness is more severe than she can heal, being partly of demon origin. Just after Galen and Talia get together at last, memories of his previous love Jessie come to mind and he needs to speak with his father. Talia is reminded by Max to use her anger at Maddox and his pack, to help her fight whatever is coming next. Something that leaves readers needing to wait until book three, Wolf of Shadows, comes out to find out in a cliffhanger of an ending. Talia has finally found a home and a place she belongs, even if she has to work to prove herself to some of the pack. She has the alpha and Galen’s support and protection and they won’t let anything happen to her. Nice to see the two of them finally give in to the pull between them and Talia finally getting the love she deserves. A pact with the witches will only end up helping them, even if some of his pack are uncertain of this. I can’t wait to read the next one to see what is attacking them now! I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
Wolf of Blood is the follow-up to the first book in the Shifter Rejected series. The story finds Talia adjusting well to Galen's pack. Taking care of Galen's dad, running errands, and having small interactions with the pack. Talia is figuring things out while coming to terms with the fact that her old pack didn't have the best of members, but she's moving forward with her life still figuring things out.
It looks like Galen he's shaping up to be a good alpha. When it comes to making decisions he listens to his pack's opinion, takes the advice of his father, but mostly goes by instincts and his instincts tend to lean towards helping people. As for Galen and Talia together, as a couple they seem great for each other, Galen takes on a lot of responsibility, even for an alpha, and Talia is a caregiver who wants to help. They're a good match but Galen still hasn't dealt with the past trauma of losing his first love causing him to make some decisions that I didn't care for.
Wolf of Blood was a good and quick read. New supernaturals were introduced, the demons were a little more involved, and Talia's old pack is still causing trouble. I have a few questions about Talia and her past and the story ended on a cliffhanger, so I'm hoping to get answers in the next book.
Wolf of Blood is the second book Wolf of Blood is the follow-up to the first book in the Shifter Rejected series. The story begins we’re book one ends as Talia is taken into Galen’s pack and is adjusting well to her new pack dynamic. She spends her time Helping to care of Galen's dad, running errands, and having small interactions with the pack. Talia is figuring things out while coming to terms with the fact that her old pack didn't have very good members or intentions. However, Talia she's moving forward with her life and determined to do what’s right.
Galen is growing into his role and is proving to be a good alpha. Galen listens to his pack's opinion, takes the advice of his father and relying heavily on instinct he works towards helping others.
Galen and Talia as a couple are forging a strong bond and on the surface are great for each other. They're a good match but Galen still hasn't dealt with past trauma of losing his first love and has some things to work through. Talia is adjusting better in this respect but there is backstory there I’m interested to learn.
Wolf of Blood was a good and I am excited to see how the storyline plays out.
Vampires, Witches, Demons, Werewolves and Humans, Oh My! As if there isn't enough going on in the series so far that don't really make sense, Vampires join the fray. The writing is a bit better than the first book but with this new addition I'm halfway expecting dragons or faerie to join in the next book. I also don't really understand the constant reminder of Talia being rejected or Galen's dead girlfriend from apparently years ago but it seems to be a constant theme in a lot of books I've been reading (usually those that feel AI written). I'm not saying that's what it is but it certainly feels like it.
Also what happened to the witch from the first book who was supposed to show up and strengthen the wards on the cabin and check out Talia since she felt something odd about her through her meeting with Galen? And it's never answered as to why or what Maddox wants now with Talia after her friend magically showed up to warn her to leave.

With the demons stirring up trouble, everyone is choosing sides and the end result will not be good for anyone. Except the demons, of course.
This is book two of the series. it does pretty well as a standalone, but will be more enjoyable if you start from the beginning.
This is an urban fantasy story. The story is well written and easy to read with a well developed setting and fascinating characters. They make mistakes and have to learn along the way, just like the rest of us. The plot is fairly fast paced and keeps the story moving forward. Overall, an excellent story and I look forward to seeing these characters again.
Highly recommended.

Galen is protecting Talia from her old pack. Talia is starting to feel at home. She supports Galen and helps take care of Galen's ailing father the true Alpha of the pack. When the Demons and the old pack attack, Talia steps up to help. The witches having asked for help, also join in the fight against the demons. The engaging story continues develop as well as the characters. Looking forward to learning more!

Wolf of Blood is part of the shifter rejected series by Amelia Shaw. It is an amazing short story. Amelia fills the story with friendship, struggles, and conflicts. Talia has gained shelter with an enemy pack. She is responsible for taking care of the Alpha. The Alpha’s son, Galen, takes over his father’s responsibilities for the pack. Galen is approached by witches for sanctuary. He soon discovers he has a larger threat against his pack.

Galen has taken Talia into his pack and is protecting her from her former pack. She is beginning to fit in and be more comfortable as she is accepted. The demons and her former Northwood pack attack them, and Talia doesn’t hesitate to help in the fight. The witches joined Galen’s pack in the fight against the demons, while the vampires fought with her former pack. The excitement and suspense will keep the reader fully invested in this story. Can they deal with the demons? Or will the animosity continue to be stirred up and cause trouble?
audiobook version Al just pure horrible awful. Remind me of school when you first learned how to read and you got the emphasis all wrong, creepy, monotone , off the rails , irritating , boring and nerve racking,so very bad I can not stand listening. Those author now, want to be cheap and not invest money and what you get is crap. She has several of her books on YT. I started almost all of them and gave up. So I will not even think about buying it. I find it a damn shame for this way I will never know if the stories are worth it or not.
Talia should be safe with Galen's pack - but the Northwood pack are still hunting her, looking to kill her. While she grows closer to Galen and his father the Alpha, there are other plots affot - what are the demons doing with the witches in town? Why are the vampires working with the Northwood pack to attack Galen's pack? I am loving this series, cliff hanger ending - cant wait for the next one!

Book 2 was another entertaining read! Shifters, demons, vampires, and witches! Talia is now protected by Galen, but her old pack is still causing problems for her and now demons are causing some problems. Lots of danger; good action! Like the chemistry between Talia and Galen, but they do continue to get in their own way towards happiness. More story to be had for these two with the next book; looking forward to reading it!
This book is full of so much action, drama, danger, intrigue, and so much more. I love how caring and loving Talia is, she will do whatever is necessary to keep others safe. Galen wants to take care of all his pack members, I loved all the descriptions throughout it helped my imagination come out to see the town and everyone who is a part of it.

This is a good story with drama, love teasing. This is not a simple shifter story, it is a super-natural story with vampires and witches and demons, but with the focus on the shifter life, and the impact from others, including other pack's. I enjoyed the story, I couldn't get enough of the first one, I had to read more... Thank you for writing. I hope the next book is just as good, if not better. I recommend reading this book, and buying the series.. I enjoyed it.
She trying live a life the best she can after everything but things keep happening demons and there corrupting witches wolves and not sure but vampires maybe and there are shadows too but it felt so good to beat Maddox my ex the witches that are living with us now helped the fight with my old pack but some of our wolves died and when Galen came back looking exhausted I offered to hello him and we played around he made me come as I him
The books are extremely short and end abruptly. It would've done much better as an entire book instead of splitting it up into several. The plot is decent, but I'm not in love with the story telling. There could've been more details worked in to the story line with a more indepth telling. I'm stopping the series here because it's just not pulling me in like I wanted it to.
🍁Again. This was alright. The Demon stuff and the heroine's hidden true nature intrigues me to continue. But, otherwise, the story is mediocre at best. We come to see the relationship between the protagonists grow to something more in this book. We see the Weres accept the heroine. We come across the witches too, who I'm not sure whether to trust fully or not. For now, we'll see where the story goes.
This is an intense Rejected Mates story and I have to say that I think that it is a good one! This is certainly original and something that has me wanting more. I am really looking forward to find out what happens next! I really do want more!

Loved this!! the characters are fabulous!! lots of intrigue, witches, wolves and vampires, what could go wrong. excited for Book 3 Wolf of shadows. Fans of Jaymin Eve, Callie Rose, and Avery Stone won’t be able to get enough of this slow burn, rejected mates shifter series!

I love a rejected mates story and this is definitely one of them. This is book two in the series and there is just so much happening! The witches are going crazy, some of the pack blames Talia, Maddox is trying to kill Talia, and a new enemy is showing up! It’s so freaking good! I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Another enjoyable story in this series. Galen must continue to protect Talia from her pack. But unexpected enemies are also causing problems with his pack. I liked this book and look forward to the continuation in book 3.

The story is still ongoing. More explanations should have already came out. She added some spice which I don't read. I usually skim so I don't have an opinion about that. Just a heads up. Like I said My story is solid. I usually get five stars for anyone who gives a solid story even if it's not perfect.
Italia get her New start maybe & Galen and his pack are still in danger. Talia isn’t safe from the pack or demons and Galen will do anything to keep her and the pack safe. With demons overtaking everyone is Talia the reason? Something is going on and I can't wait to find out!, no one is safe. Talia & Galen are great together and I can’t wait too read what will happen next.
Galen is protecting Talia and she is doing what she can to help him out and caring for his father. But of course trouble shows up and so does lots of danger and action. Fun to read and see what trials and problems Talia faces this time around. Fun to read and see who makes it to the end alive.
