Vice College For Young Demons: It's beautiful, deadly, and at the centre of Lilith's problems. Being a student there is not for the faint of heart, and it gets more and more dangerous every year.
When Lilith does the unthinkable and grows horns in her first two weeks, she catches the eye of some powerful people who want her dead. If the horns weren't enough, she's also a Succubus and the Syndicate will do anything to eliminate her before her powers can pose a threat to them. Fortunately, she's also attracted the attention of the Strange God—the demonic deity—who gifts Lilith seven irresistible mates to protect her.
But the more she fights just to stay alive, the more Lilith and her men get drawn into a conflict that will shake the very foundations of demonic society.
No one said being the Strange God's Chosen would be easy.

Marie Mistry is a reality challenged reverse harem romance author whose books are full of pirates, magic, and spicy adventures. When she's not writing, you can usually find her curled up with a game or a book and a large cup of tea. She lives in a wonky cottage in Kent with her other half and a super sweet shepherd named Meg.
An almost 1700 page read for all of these, but I enjoyed it all! I personally did like the twists and turns that kept me on my toes. And I appreciated that while this was a RH, it had a lot of interesting plot!
Overall this was a very enjoyable read and I will definitely look into more books by this author. A quick cover of the book and tropes would be a reverse harem with seven mates to one female character who is tied into a prophecy to overthrow the mess of the current government and save her race on behalf of the deity known as the Strange God.
Overall, my favorite mate of the MC was Enzo because it felt as though he had the most emotions and flaws and interesting character history. He also I feel was actually the most understanding of the MC's situation. Not to mention he helped the MC the most I feel in developing her own strengths.
I enjoyed the plot up until the reveal of the
It was that anti-climatic ending to the series that leaves me a bit upset, but 90% of the series was great.
Found it quite difficult to keep track of which type of demon all the mates were. Originally, it's easier to distinguish between them, especially Blaze (who works as head of security at the college), Jin (who's a Sloth and always sleeping to recharge his power), and Enzo (the slightly insane assassin who appears and disappears at will). The issue with Bane kept him apart from the group for a very long time in a way I didn't like. Daron was shy and sweet and old-fashioned, insisting on courting Lilith and taking her out on dates. Aeron and Kane didn't have very defined personalities, except that Aeron kept blundering at the beginning, not knowing how to show Lilith his interest in her, and not knowing how to function in a relationship.
By the third book, all the guys kinda seemed the same. Daron had lost his shyness, Aeron had lost his awkwardness, Enzo had integrated into the group and seemed "normal" rather than continually off doing his own thing. I did like that they were all devoted to her.
There were two or three twists that I didn't see coming: clever plotting on the part of the author. One or two things didn't make sense. Like, they were forbidden to own or use electronics, yet in the second book, Daron is continually whipping out his tablet in the dining hall where they take meals with other students and all the faculty members, and no one bats an eyelid. Also, during Lilith's first Christmas at Vice, Aeron threatens her not to reveal what she knows about him and Bane being brothers and Bane's mother being unshown. But all the students would have seen it, since they all met their parents in a large public area. That's also how the whole college got to witness what happened between Lilith and her parents. So I didn't see how Aeron could have kept that secret, anyway.
I actually really liked the entire series all the way up to the end where... I really disliked the twist LOL. That said, good parts outweigh the bad, though the ending did feel all over the place and unfinished in parts. Characters were fun, MC and her boys really had nice chemistry, even if some of them were kind of static. The ending seemed almost like the author was just throwing something at you that she thought was interesting, and honestly I was not about that. But really, 15% of all of it (I'm including the novella) shouldn't completely kill my enthusiasm for the other 85%. Ngl, shame it was the end that was lackluster though.
Fourth book was definitely the weakest of the three. The author expanding the scope of what she was doing made everything a lot messier and disjointed. The big bad was a let down, as was the subsequent handling of the big bad. I also had little interest in the novella, but I don't enjoy switching MCs to someone else so that's a big reason why. First couple of books were definitely my favorites of the series.
I'm not going to rate this because I ended up skimming parts after book two. I actually really like the writing style, and the characters and story were interesting enough, but my mind kept wandering. I realize that's probably a "me" thing, so I'm not going to rate this and have it effect anyone else's opinion.
There was something about the time throughout the story that bothered me. We'd have months of nothing happening and then a really intense scene and then no action or real resolutions, rinse and repeat. I'm not sure if that's actually the issue that made me check out, but it didn't help.
Nelly's story made my eye twitch. The whole deity incarnate was difficult wrap my brain around, especially because Lilith was so blasé about the whole thing.
I binged the box set of these books in a matter of days and even after turning the last page I find myself wanting more. The characters and world drew me in from the very beginning. The Vice College for Young Demons has wonderful world building and characters that will keep you enthralled and a main female character who you will find yourself cheering for. This is definitely a series I’m not going to forget for a while and an author whose work I’m going to follow fanatically. Every book in this series was fantastic and left me wanting more and more. I’m very much looking forward to reading more books by this author.
After a week of being sick with Covid and then being banned from posting on Amazon, i decided to read a series that has been on my TBR pile for ages! This has taken me a week, as this is one thick boxed set. Lilith's story is amazing. Filled with politics, an interfering God, 7 men that will test her in every possible and an evil that threatens everything. I loved seeing Lilith go from being an almost timid, young woman, to a tough and resilient leader. Her mates are so different from each other and seeing how those dynamics shift and change as they all realise that there is only her. I loved reading Nelly's story as well.
Loved the 4 vice college books and as always great reads . The extra stories about Nelly and her mates she found , her life from the last battle and how her future ends happy . And the. The extra story Lilith and her 7 mates finally have kids and how many and where they are and what the rest of her friends are doing . Brings the series to a spectacular ending and Iam happy to have looked at the box set and get the little extras . Must read will enjoy 😊
The series started off really well. A daughter trying to please her parents and dreading if she'll end up as "unshown" which really amounts to a life full of slavery. Instead our h ends up being super special and favored by the Strange God. I liked the world building with demons coming from the seven deadly sins with sub-castes. Maybe my problem was binge reading the entire series as I had to force myself to just get through the last book. I'm more into the relationship building, angst, drama to get to the mating and less so about trials and tribulations once mated.
This series had me hooked from page one. A demon society unlike any other, the world building in this series is amazing. There’s so much drama and tension in this series that it’s nearly impossible to put it down once you’ve started. Things didn’t always go as I expected and I loved that about this series. The ending was one of those unexpected things, but it was amazing. Through the four books in this series, you can’t help but fall in love with these characters. Definitely give this a read!
This series is truly amazing! If you are looking for unique worldbuilding, intricate plot, well rounded characters, steam, action with a HEA then read this. I love how the characters grow and fight for their happiness. I enjoyed the action and mystery and the genuine academy setting (you read a bout the courses, the exams, the profs, etc. Not just as a backdrop). Couldn't put it down!!!
I don’t know how I missed this series… I really thought I had read all of the really good paranormal reverse harem series… I was wrong this was a great read.
sometimes the main character annoyed me But overall I liked all of the characters. All of the men in the harem were awesome and I loved all of the different personalities
I really enjoyed this series and felt the world building was great. Lilith's mates really annoyed me at times around their decisions and how easily she would forgive them. I felt there was so much world building and things going on that their relationship got a bit lost at times. It's worth the read though!
This is one of my favorite series ever. I fell in love with all the characters. The story moved flawlessly and was never dull. It was a perfect balance of action with love between the characters. This is the first time I have read any thing by Marie Mistry and I am looking forward to reading more.
This was amazing! I loved this entire series! It was amazing, and while there were some “slow” moments those moments allowed us to see her interact with her mates and those bonds to grow! I also loved the fact we got to see them with their kids!!
Not for me. The plot felt poorly thought out - things happened that were then never explained and it felt like it was because it didn’t fit with the new direction of the books. The relationships were a bit weak and the pacing was off - lots of just getting bogged down with research. It’s never really explained why she’s the chosen one - there’s not a compelling reason for anything that happens.
This box set was amazing! I loved not having to wait with the cliffhangers and the novellas were awesome. I loved all of the characters and the story lines. Definitely worth checking out.
THESE BOOKS! This may be my favorite series ever! Loved all the characters, even the ones that may have gotten on my nerves a few times. I didn’t always agree with their decisions (bane), but still love every part!
I absolutely loved this series and being able to read them all back to back In this omnibus was fantastic, specially the novella and extra epilogue at the end. I highly recommend this series and cannot wait to read more by this author
Marie Mistry has a way of writing a story that really keeps you gripped to the end. Their imagination and story telling is so original and the characters are so relatable. If I could give more than 5 stats I would.
I loved Vice College for Young Demons before, but the bonus content makes it all even better! This is an absolute must read. I cannot even tell you how great it is.
Oh my horns and wings! I love this series. I have re-read and binge read it, and I will do it all again. It's a fantasy, reverse harem romance with demons (that have nothing to do with hell or any other afterlife destination). This is a funny, sweet, smart, and dramatic adventure with a battle of good vs evil as Lilith deals with college, destiny, and love. Each book is longer than average (they include a whole year), has a plot twist or three, and I LOVED EVERY MOMENT.
I adore Lilith. She's sweet, smart, and strong. The cast of characters has some amazing support characters (Leoni, Rina, Viv, Nellie and Lulu), adorably mischievous imps, despicable villains, and wonderful males. Lilith has seven (7) mates: Aeron, Bane, Daron, Blaze, Jin, Kain, and Enzo. I don't have a favorite mate. They’re all fun, or sweet, or sexy, or crazy (ahem, Enzo), as well as a combination of desirable, lickable traits.
The world-building is fabulous, too. Book 1 had me intrigued by the demons’ god and the caste structure. Book 2 expanded on the magics (aka psychokinesis) and “gifts.” Book 3 had me rooting for the “unshown.” Book 4 fleshed out the dark side of the culture and organizations. It also had a super satisfying climax and a fabulous, happy ending.
While the series is more fun than a barrel of flying monkeys, each book tackles important issues like non-conformity, politics, caste system crises, ethics, and assassination, to name a few.
Most likely comfort read. Big harem, which I loved.

DIDN’T READ: Cheating and ow drama in second book. One of the men tells the fmc he fooled around with another woman to help him resist the temptation of the fmc… zero grovel. He pushed the bond onto the fmc, and she chased/longed for him while he spent his attention on the ow.
