Since they were children, Holden, Finn, and Monroe belonged to each other.
Over time their love changed.
Deepened.
Became More.
Became Everything.
Absent parents with more money than sense and decency left their children to each other, and they raised themselves. They defined their relationship within the context of their love for each other.
And now they don't care what anyone thinks.
Days away from graduating high school, their lives are about to change.
For better or for worse, they're in this together.
I live in Austin, Texas with my husband, daughter, 3 rescue dogs, 1 cat, and one bunny (that doesn't seem to like us). I love reading romance novels as much as I love writing them. I feel like inspiration can come from anywhere; a song lyric, a quote, a weekend with friends. The tiniest things can spark amazing stories.
From the outside looking in Finn, Holden and Monroe are living the perfect privileged life. They are surrounded by wealth, but none of them have ever experienced the love of a parent. Instead they turned to each other from a very young age, and grew up loving and doting on each other. I absolutely adored the dynamic between these three characters; the way they care for each other makes them feel a lot older than they really are. The storyline feels like a background to this epic love story between a young woman and her two best friends, and the way they find a place for themselves in the adult world.
This is a book with spice, but more importantly with a lot of love. I highly recommend reading it if you're a fan of beautiful love stories that don't always fit the traditional mold.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I have loved everything that L.P. Maxa has written, so I couldn't wait to read Three Against All. I freaking LOVED it! It centers around Finn, Holden and Monroe. Three besties that have been for each other for a long time. They come from uber rich families, who's parent pay them no mind. I just loved their chemistry and the way they are just there for each other.
When I first saw the cover I knew I had to get into this book. I was truly not ready for the vibe in which it gave. This was Cruel Intentions 2.0. If you ever seen the movie you would understand what I am talking about. I loved Finn most of all. He just hit different in their relationship and balanced it out more.
This is not your normal LP Maxa book but it gives you some of what the Devil's Spawn was speaking on.
