I won this book in a goodreads drawing.

Ned Flynn is tough guy out for revenge, but first he has to find his targets. He puts word out on the street, and a former fence might know something, but there's a price. It seems the fence's son is missing, and Ned has to help find him.

Fast paced book that's a quick read. Once you get through the first chapters, the action ramps up very quick. Flynn and Eddie are complex and dynamic characters that pulled me into the story.

This is a partial story, really, simply meant to showcase the author's writing ability. The piece was well-written, but fairly predictable as thrillers go. Because it was short, there wasn't much of a developed plot, and the characters were flat - you could feel sympathy for the situation they were in but not much for them otherwise.
