Just what I needed! This book is just as good as the first one in the series and I was smiling the whole way through.

I really love the way that Fletcher writes characters. They are so believable which just makes me fall in love with them even more <3

I definitely recommend this story to anyone looking for a fun festive read!

Monroe acquires land for Syndicorp, a multinational corporation building stores everywhere, stifling local businesses. Wren works in a small local hardware store in Roanoak Falls, a struggling small town in the Midwest USA.
They meet when Monroe comes to the hardware store to buy a cable, and Wren manages to upsell her a vacuum cleaner.
This is another in the Bears series; I felt this was not so engaging as the others I have read, even though both Monroe and especially Wren are lovely, well written characters. We also get a good appearance from Andie and Cat from the first book in the series.
This story didn’t seem to flow as well as the others, however, it’s still a good book, certainly well worth reading.
