So, happy we were able to check in with the tribe! Although there was some drama, there is so much love within this family, that there is nothing that they cannot handle! I so love Moon and KJ! The way they love each other, and move as a unit is goals! I was giving Maisie the 👀, as her behavior was selfish as hell! But, I'm glad she found her good sense! My heart broke for Kree and Liam, but the gift that Moon gave them with the support of KJ was just everything! Great job! 👍👍👍

2.5 at most✨ I have very bad and uncomfy feelings about this book and let me tell you why. The book started off great and it was broken up into three sections for each couple. Couples one and three’s stories I quite enjoyed… but couple two 👀. There was this weird abortion storyline that I did not like at all because the wife did not want to have another child and when the husband found out he got really disrespectful and nasty and started blaming the mother because he left the house out of anger and their child noticed. Like sir you are the one who hasn’t been home for a week like what are we talking about right now. Then it seemed like she was forced by everyone to have this child and when she did finally decide he was like “don’t think just because I’m kissing and rubbing on your belly that means I forgive you for what you did” huh EXCUSE ME !! Then turned around and threw her a baby shower. This left a very bad taste in my mouth and I just could not. Nope 🙅🏽‍♀️

A Tribe of Love indeed...

This was such a good read. I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with some of my faves, especially KJ!!! I just love his progression. His story is one close to my heart, as the mother of a special son.😍😍😍

Maise was about to get slapped but she got some act right! 🤨🤨🤨

While those two stuck out for me, it was just so good seeing how the families grew and their love matured.

Mel Dau is top tier for me! A rare talent for sure. Make sure you check out her very diverse catalogue.

4.5⭐s Highly Recommend (If the story was only about my baby KJ it would be an automatic 5⭐s 🤣🤣🤣

This author's pen game is unwavering, unflinching, and just doggone good. Her storyline is engaging, the character development is on point and the uniqueness of the plot are all the consistent efforts of this author. Great update. I look forward to reading more of her works.

Our Tribe

Yes, Yes, Yes. I fell in Love with Liam, Kree, KJ, Luna, Justin and Maise in their respective books and I enjoyed this update on this Tribe.

KJ and Luna were by far my favorite couple. I was not even mad that KJ went at his son, whom also had Autism, bullies dad who basically called him a punk. Mess with me, but not my kids. KJ messed ole dude up; bet he'll hold his tongue next time😏.

Luna is the sweetest friend. She's better than me bc as soon as I realized ole girl was trying to run game, her teeth would've met the floor; just scandalous 🤦🏾‍♀️. I absolutely loved how selfless she was for Kree and Liam. That's a true sisterhood and friendship that'll be with them forever.

Maise was not my fav and her selfish reasons for not wanting to keep her and her husband Justin's baby didn't make me like her more. I wish she would've truly talked out all her feelings to get to the root with her husband, yet I'm glad she eventually figured it out on her own.

Justin was very just in his reaction to his wife Maisie's pregnancy. That was his seed and not only did he know he/she would be a blessing to their family, but that he'd kill for him/her too. He was a loving, patient husband and to know his wife possibly didn't want to keep their unborn child was baffling to him. I'm glad he saw that his leaving was hurting his son and moved back in and eventually got back to the way things should've been with his wife.

Kree touched my heart from the first story of me learning about her. Kree not being able to have anymore kids was soul crushing. Liam was truly her rock, yet Luna was the womb she never expected to be gifted. That gesture from Luna and KJ to be the surrogate to Kree and Liams' babies brought a tear to my eyes. How loving.

Liam was a man of honor, virtue and so much Love that it was almost too amazing to be true. His Love for Kree and how he held her down during her dark times, was so sweet. Him ensuring her that having a surrogate to carry their child was ok and him being so involved to ease her mind not only showed his undying love but that he had her no matter what. I believe the bond that he already had with KJ was solidified in a new way once he and Kree gifted them the paperwork to be their surrogate. Then, to get twins out of the deal, was the sweetest icing on the cake.

I love a good update and this one was so sweet. Another Mel Dau banger.

Great read. Highly recommend

This is a follow on from “the love spectrum”, so if you haven’t read it yet, go and read that book first

This book was about the tribe of love friendship can make . They are not all related but the love they have for eachother is more than a family bond. We get a glimpse of the following couples life and their future prospects :

Kerr & Liam
Maise and Justin
KJ and Luna

They have each other’s backs and this novella displays this beautiful. I love that we get to know how KJ got married to Luna and the kids they had

It was nice to read how KJ defended his son when he was called out of his name by another adult and the challenges he faces as a autistic dad with an autistic son

It was nice to read about the struggles of surrogacy between Kree and Liam and how fulfilling a desire that seems unachievable can take a toll on your family life

Finally, you get to read about how an unexpected pregnancy, can affect a family and the best way to navigate any uncertainty before making rash decisions that may cost you your happiness and peace , Justin and Maisie’s story.

I loved reading this novella and would highly recommend it !

what a beautiful and loving tribe

Now this book showed love, family, and friendship and it was beautiful. They each had their spouses back, their families back, and each other’s backs. They were there for each other through thick and thin. There were ups and downs as well as challenges, but they persevered and made it through them together.
I enjoyed this book so much and found myself wishing for this level of love, friendship and happiness. It was great to catch up with some of my favorite characters and KJ was my favorite. I didn’t know he had it in him, but when faced with that situation I wasn’t surprised. They say it takes a village and they truly were blessed to be each others.

Excellent read!

wow!!! amazing story!!

I don’t want to say it’s an amazing ending because I feel like they will continue to make appearances in other stories because my favorite family is so big!!! It was great to catch up with my favorite trio of best friends, I’ve loved their friendship since Love’s touchdown and it’s grown every time they make an appearance in another book.

I love that their wives had created a friendship to match theirs all of their own and to see how life had changed for them and how each couple handled what life threw at them and continued to grow together and individually!!

Mel Dau did an outstanding job writing this book and it’s definitely a must read, so add it to your TBR!!

What can I say a “Tribe of Love” was definitely a labor of love. Each couples story was compelling but I have to say Liam’s and Kree’s just hit different. It was great to catch up with Luna & KJ, Masie & Justin, and of course Kree & Liam. The author was able to capture each couples story without it feeling repetitive. Although each couple had their growing pains the level of love and depth of growth was definitely at the forefront. Great read I hope the author see fit to continue with this mega family stories.

The support and love was unmatched

It was so nice revisiting all the couples. I love KJ and Luna, their selflessness is unmatched and KJ is better than me because had that been my child in that situation, I would have tried to kill dude for real. Just loved how the friends came together for one another and supported each other but also called each other out on their mess. We went on a few emotional rollercoasters with these characters but it was a ride well worth it.

OMG

I’m not crying, you are!!! I loved everything about this book from the beginning to the very end. I’m glad Maisie decided to keep the baby. I knew Moon and KJ wanted to be surrogates, but once they actually told Kree and Liam that they wanted to do it for them, I was an emotional wreck. That’s what love and family are about. Baby, I cried cried cried all the way to the end of this book. Great read as always Mel!

This was a sweet update on Luna and KJ 's wedding and their children. The added bonus was their close circle of friends and how they still ride for one another. Updates on their families , were very enlightening.. We can't select the families we're born into , But we can select our friends. These friends have selected well. The gift that Luna Gifted to Kree and Liam was beyond measure.

Loved Catching Up

I was happy the book started with KJ and Luna since I had just finished their book. KJ and Luna are still going strong and so in love. Their two blessings, Jewell and Tre were additions to their family that completed their love, challenges and all. I enjoyed reading about Liam and Kree and was ecstatic at the outcome for them. I was mad at Maisie’s selfishness and was totally in Justin’s corner. But I’m happy everything worked out. Great book!

Absolutely Amazing Read

I love this family! Everything about them is amazing! KJ and Luna are still going strong. For them to have a son like him is a good thing because I think he'll love someone the same as his dad. What KJ and Luna did for Liam and Kree was wonderful. These couples are still outstanding. Job well done.

This one right here, OMGoodness!! Beautiful, yes mad at times but this family is priceless!!! What Luna and KJ did for family … there are no words! In order to get the full affect, you have to read previous books to truly understand ( my opinion) Mel did the thang with this one!!! * note: there are editing issues that should have been caught. 👊🏾

Village People

What a delightful read ☺️‼️ To witness the transition & expansion of three childhood friends, businessmen and their respective families become a village of more than just friends (Christianson’s, Smith’s & Washington’s) rather a blended cohesive family unit. Definitely a “Tribe of Love”, dedication and selflessness😊‼️ Congratulations village people 🥰‼️

It was great to be reunited to get a glimpse into what all of the families are up to.

No drama, just love and more love.
