'My daughter doesn't read much - but she LOVED this book!'
‘A fascinating look at school-girl relationships. This is a must-read for girls aged eight, all the way up to sixteen. And what an ending! You’ll want to read this over and over again.’
'An important book about bullying and the subtle way girls pick on each other - BUT! Joy! A happy ending.'

I loved this book. I think it's a perfect book for young girls to read. It really shows you should always be true to yourself and not be what everyone wants you to be.
I read this in a couple of hours. I love suzy's books and this was no different. It is YA (which isn't one of my favourite genres) but yet again Suzy has blown it out of the water. I would compare it to a modern day mean girls with all the characters in tow. What i really enjoyed is the perceptive from both main characters, and gives the lesson of sometimes, your friends arent your friends. If i had a teenage girl in high school I would definitely be gifting this book and calling it life advice. The only reason im giving it 4 stars is because of it being YA. Love it love love it. Can you please re write as an adult book and ill give it 23 stars ha.
Queen Bee tantrums, disagreements and new friendships
I'm sure everyone had a queen bee at their school. We can all relate to the pressure, anger and tears shed by being picked on or bullied. I enjoyed this story allot. Read how these girls worked out their differences... Well, most of them at least. Five big golden stars for Suzy K Quinn!
I loved this book! :-) I was hooked from the start and found it impossible to put it down, reading half of it in one sitting! The twists and turns are clever and unexpected. Though as issues got sorted out, the ending was less surprising, but still satisfying. I look forward to reading more of Suzy's books. Thank you Suzy. I also loved the Bad Mother series and can recommend them.
The author describes Lottie as arrogant, rude, and unfriendly but underneath she’s as scared as the rest of us. I think most bullying comes from this place of fear. By picking on someone, they make themselves feel better than that person. I would love for all girls to figure it out like Scarlett did but unfortunately too many end of feeling like the weird kid with no friends. A great piece of advice in this book is when Cassandra says “People who don’t stop bad behavior are just as bad as those who do bad things. We must do the right thing, even if it’s frightening or uncomfortable.” In my daughter’s situation, girls told her they wished her the best but we’re going to stick with the group where the queen bee was bullying her. They were all too afraid to stand up to her. My daughter now see how this group was always mean but when she was on the inside didn’t notice. The wisest take away is to find some girls who care about you for you, not what you can do for them. I highly recommend this book!
I received a copy of this book from a Goodread's giveaway.
Honestly I loved this! It was short, sweet (well kinda!), and to the point. It focuses on the topic of bullying, and what all can fall into that category, but also tells a wonderful story of friendship!
Suzy knocked it out of the park again with ‘Queen Bee.’ My 10 y/o granddaughter and I read it together; we both enjoyed it! Highly recommend, especially if your child is experiencing being bullied.
Standard YA clique saga, which definitely transported me back to my teen years, unfortunately! Interesting to see the two perspectives and can definitely relate to the 'friend' stirring trouble and being worse than the two protagonists!
I LOVE all of Suzy's books! This was no different, it made me think about my time at school and it was just so relatable! Keep up the great work Suzy ❤️❤️
