As soon as I hit my reading groove , it was Over !!!!
In this book , we read about Twist . We 1st met him in the Maxence books where he and his friends Micha, and Blaze helped to rescue Dree . Well , in this book Twist is on a high from launching his newest ," Algorithm ", or whatever it is.
( I , personally , have NO interest in Finance other then my paychecks :+))) )
And this book gives one a working knowledge of that . Also video games..... I can't even tell you What games my nephew plays, and have Never played with him ..... This book also has subjects about " coding" , and " cosplay " , and things of that nature. It is explained somewhat, but ........ Remember Charlie Brown ?? Remember when ever the teacher, or an adult was speaking, and we heard , ..".... Whapp whaa waappp Whaapp ......! " Well , in the back of my mind when I read these scenes , that was what I was hearing :+))))
So, yeah , I just followed that the " coding , and algorithm ", stuff was ," computer stuff," and kept reading .....
Anywhoo, in this book Twist has had a ," loan " called in from his high school benefactor ( male factor he is called in here ) To me the details are a little sketchy, as to What the details actually are . But from my humble understanding, Twist has company stocks he has to purchase , along with other currencies and he needs it by a certain date. Like SOON !!!
Enter Colleen ......
She is a down in her luck young college girl who is a computer science , and finance major. Due to family drama , she is no longer in school , and just trying to make ends meet. Her current job is at Gameshack a brick and morter store that has older games and consoles and action figures. She also moderates a website that helps people with stock market thingies ( that's Totally Not what that is called in here !! Haha !!) Which is where she meets our newest hero !! On the website she moderates, "Twisty king " , has broken the rules ( once again ) and she as "Queen Mod " , has had to put his posts on lockdown . Not gonna lie , A LOT of that is WAYYYY over my head !!
What I do thoroughly understand and perked up at ,was the Devil house scenes !!!!!!!!
Oh my Lord , what scenes these two had !!!!
It was explosive and magnificent and made me feel some kinda way about Twist !! In a great way , of course !!
This TWISTY turn-y book was much more then I thought it would be , and I'm sure the Le Rosey Mafia books will make this coming year a fun filled, epic adventure from start to finish !!! And I am extremely excited for these next books !!!

This was an entertaining start to the Twisted Billionaires series. Tristan was an interesting character, and this book details the beginning of his romance with Colleen. This book gets 3.5 stars from me, rounded down to 3 stars.
My rating would have been higher, but I prefer romances to have less kinky sex. Ever since 50 Shades of Grey was such a success, most romances feature at least some BDSM and some kinky scenes. This is true of most of Blair Babylon's books and series. I get that some people really enjoy that in romances, but I just don't find hurting your lover romantic. I will still read Blair's books, because her writing/plots are very good -- but I wish more romances would feature love scenes that do not contain BDSM or a lot of kink.
Some of the kink in this one disturbed me, as I wasn't convinced that Colleen really knew enough about the Dom/Sub lifestyle as she should have before Tristan introduced her to it. I get that he always made sure she enjoyed their intimacy, but I honestly felt that he was kind of indoctrinating her to like his sexual style. That really bothered me, and is the main reason for my 3 star rating.
I waited until both of Tristan's books came out before reading this one. I know that all of Blair's books tend to have an overarching plot, and that the 1st Tristan book would leave a lot of unresolved issues. I don't like cliffhanger endings, so I wanted to read both Tristan books close together.
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

Intriguing Romantic Suspense Adventure with danger, excitement and side of serious BDSM steam heat. The Scholarship ‘Mafia’ from Le Rosey private school became friends and allies and were secretly funded by one on their relatives. Now that their mentor is dead, someone is calling in those debts. First up is Twist who has been given an almost impossible and complicated task that might involve destroying something very important to his closest friends.
Heroine Colleen Frost is barely living her life - she is beyond burnt out and barely making ends meet. She has a small sad life with no friends and truthfully she sounds seriously emotionally disconnected and disassociated. She is just getting by as she recovers from a huge life changing trauma. One of her jobs is as an online moderator for a stock market forum and TwistyTrader is a killer whale who is giving her problems. When she cuts him off for a period of time, they end up having a conversation out of the forum that evolves into an anonymous offline risky sexual encounter on camera.
There is a subsequent anonymous meet up at The Devilhouse (that has appeared in many of Blair’s books) playing out their Dom/Sub BDSM sexual kink. I was impressed by how much both the Devilhouse and Twist in disguise worked with naïve novice Colleen to help her understand the basics of BDSM around limits, safe words, caretaking and to ensure there was fully informed consent, and Devilhouse Staff reassured her there were options to protect her if she felt unsafe at any time. This encounter was intended to be a one time anonymous hook up.
Then there is a coincidential/synchronistic meeting at her second job at GameShack where she was being verbally abused by her incompetent boss, but of course they don't recognize each other unmasked. Words ensue and Twist who is her customer sticks up for her and she gets fired. She is frantic and this leads to him offering her a job to travel with him as an admin assistant.
And so the wild and crazy Billionaire adventures begin. The story is intriguing and engaging, but their sexual kink is not my cup of tea and Colleen is so naïve that I was uncomfortable how many times she unconsciously put herself in potential danger that could easily have led to online sex tapes, or even worse consequences for her, had Twist not been an ethical and responsible Dom.
The Book ends in a major suspenseful cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

It sets alarm bells ringing & fear spiking through his blood stream!😳 He hops on a private plane to the U.S. & sets his plan in motion, in the hope of stopping what will ruin him!💥 Colleen Frost works for a GameShack store as a sales & checkout clerk. She didn't finish College. She lives very quietly & frugally, with few friends. She survives hand to mouth, paycheck to paycheck. She is put upon by her boss constantly, he takes vast liberties with her hours, responsibilities & pay.😡
TwistyTrader is a killer whale on the stock market forums. He stays out of trouble, usually, but occasionally he'll push a boundary or thirty. He can sweet talk most of the mods & get himself out of trouble, except with QueenMod. She's strict, by the book & doesn't negotiate!😕
QueenMod is a top moderator on a financial stock market forum called 'Sherwood Forest'. She loathes the killer whales that deliberately con first timers/n00bs into buying bad stock at high prices then making a killing off of them by buying them out at a really low price.😠 One exception is the Killer Whale King! He often tries to step in & shelter the n00bs. He's by no means perfect though & she's caught him trying to trawl for data so she's put him under a 14 day moderated period. He objects & wants to meet *irl* which is strictly against board policy for legal, safety & confidentiality reasons!
Within 24 hours Tristan, Collen, QueenMod & TwistyTrader are going to collide in real life *irl*, in unexpected ways and places. Their lives will be put in danger and there is zero guarantee any of them will survive it!😳💥
This is like being edged by book! I nearly cried with frustration when the book finished on a huge 'What The F***ing Hell?!' cliffhanger.😳🙈 ,
I suppose I'll be waiting, tied up in the Devilhouse, for my, I mean the books, climax!💞😉 I have to say these couples both had the pages on fire.🔥🔥 The journey to, and description of, subspace was so erotic, it transported you straight to the walls of the Devilhouse in all her kink-filled glory!💥👅👄

3.5 stars probably for this.
The plot is actually really good in this one. Tristan is obviously involved in some craziness and a loan he once took has come due. We haven’t learned the exact terms of reimbursement but they don’t seem to be good.
Colleen gets fired from her retail job when Tristan berates and insults her boss. So Tristan hires her for the week to work as a coder for him.
What they don’t realize is that each have an alter ego on a finance forum who have also been interacting with each other.
My hang up with this book is mostly Colleen. Her relationship with Tristan as TwistedKing isn’t well established before they start getting all sexy with each other. He just seems like the trouble maker in a group she MODs more than anything else, and the next thing you know, they’re having phone sex.
She also has a tendency to word vomit all her insecurities to total strangers. But it seems really forced like the author is trying too hard to make you believe she has low self esteem.
We know very little about Colleen’s past until the very end of the book, so I am interested in learning her back story next book.
Whereas Tristan we know a lot. His past, his friends, his schooling and I’m excited to finally meet his close friends and see them in action.
The spice in this book is top notch, some awesome Dom/sub action going on. It’s a daddy Dom/little girl situation but honestly? The only one so far I’ve truly enjoyed. It takes the parts I love best (Dom/sub, good girl, praise, protection) and left out all the stuff that is just your kink is not my kink. (‘Sir’ instead of ‘daddy’, the sub acting infantile.)(not hating on people’s kinks, just saying it’s not mine and I prefer to avoid it when I can.)
Also, I’m already secretly loving Juan because it’s clear he likes to antagonize Tristan for funzies and it’s clear that he and Colleen are actually about to become BFFs. I really like that she managed to draw him out more than Tristan ever could.
A solid start to this duet/series though and I’m excited to read the next book (which I will do immediately because I own the omnibus.)

A new series is off to a fantastic start!
Twisted is book one of the Twisted/Tangled duology and it is a fantastic super-hot book. It is part of Blair Babylon’s Billionaire’s in Disguise world but each individual mini-series stands alone.

Tristan wants a “little” and he wants Colleen to be his. This book doesn’t go into the Daddy/little scene much at all, most of it is in Tristan’s mind, but I expect that will change in Tangled which is the conclusion to Twisted. TBH, I’ve never read an M/F Daddy/little story but I’ve read several M/M ones and really enjoyed them. I’m curious to see how Blair treats this trope and how the characters respond.
I love how Blair has created this huge world of connected stories. I’ve read every one of them as they were published. If you’re new to her books you’re in for a treat. You’re also lucky in that you can read the stories in chronological order (vs published order) so you can more easily follow the characters. A year or so ago I got a family member hooked on this series and I almost envied her that she could read them that way – and the fact that she could read them all one right after the other without having to wait!
I don’t know how Blair is going to get Tristan and Colleen out of their current situation with the Russian mafia but I know that she will – and she will keep me thoroughly engaged while reading the next book, Tangled.

Twisted is book one of the Twisted/Tangled duology and it is a fantastic super-hot book. It is part of Blair Babylon’s Billionaire’s in Disguise world but each individual mini-series stands alone.

Twist (Tristan King) appears in previous stories, but this is the one where we truly get to know him. He's a self-made wealthy man - well, sort of. We learn where he received his education and the startup cash for his first venture. When the marker is called in, he needs to find a way to get his hands on the funds he needs to return what was given to him, and more, or he risks losing his fortune along with the copyrights on computer programs he's worked his entire adult life to create.
Colleen Frost works at GameShack by day and as a moderator on a stock market activist website at night to make ends meet. Still, those ends are awfully frayed. She hates her boss who is misogynistic, but she can't quit because she needs this job.
When the two meet at the Devil House, the experience changes both of them. Still, because they wear masks, they don't know one another. It's when he finds her at GameShack that things begin to change. Neither is sure the other is their Devil House encounter, but one thing is sure - they need each other to figure out who is behind the crashing GameShack and how they're going to stop the person holding his mark or those from the Russian mob from gaining access to an important piece of computer software, and any turn they take could mean their lives.
This story begins a series that takes us in a different direction from the billionaires and royalty the hero associates with, but we still get to see special appearances by several of the previous players. It's edge-of-my-seat excitement and nonstop action with the addition of some steam that is a trademark of this author's repertoire. It's full of mystery and intrigue and mayhem and was such a fantastic addition to her collection.

I loved Twisted. It's a definite five star read. While it's a Billionaire in Disguise novel it's the first in it's series of books. The BID universe is kind of like Star Trek. You can start at the original Star Trek and move forward or you could jump into Deep Space Nine or another series.
Twisted is a new jumping in point. If you like seriously tall, really smart men, with a serious side of Daddy Dom this is the place. I love Collen. I'm about her height. I totally got her "I'm not short rant."
This is a seriously hot hot hot read. It has kink. It ends on a cliffhanger. If these aren't your tastes I seriously recommend trying another part of the BID universe.
If you read Twisted you get excellent dialogue. Blair knows how to write unique voices for each of her characters. Twist has a very unique voice giving you best of both sides of the Atlantic. Collen is such a nerdy, sweet, and reliable woman with serious self-esteem issues. Which is so relatable. At least for me it is and I'm sure for many other readers as well.
Blair's books are fast paced. There's never a dull moment. Somehow her writing is both concise and packed with tons of backstory, character information, and BID information. Most writers would take 30 pages to write what Blair packs into an incredible 5 pages. Which means you get way more story than you'll get with most writers.
If your already a fan this is an excellent new book. If you haven't read Blair before this is an excellent new book to try.

WOW what a beginning of a new instalment of Billionaires... I knew we'd be hearing more about the "Scholarship Mafia" from Le Rosey soon, and Ms Babylon has not disappointed!
Tristan is ow twenty-six and of course he's Hot, gorgeous and tall and now wealthy and lives on a yacht in Monaco. The Prince of Monaco is his buddy from boarding school, and his other friends are billionaires, politicians, CEOs, actors, and rock stars. We were briefly introduced to Twist in Max's story, he's now rich but he started his fortune with the help of a benefactor but now that debt has come due.
Tristan's alter ego Twist, hangs out on a stock trading forum and one of the moderators ends up in a dialogue with Twist over his ban... Little does Queen Mod (Aka Colleen) know that her life's never going to be the same after she agreed to meet up with Twist... And that's where I will say pick up the book to find out what happened. It's Action packed, steamy (we revisit the Devil house Oh My!!!) The Russian Mafia have sights on Tristan too, the pair end up in a tight spot by the end of this first instalment, and thankfully book 2 won't be far behind. This is one of the few billionaire genre series that I can recommend wholeheartedly, every book in this 12 book series has been in my top read list. I'll be grabbing the next book as soon as it's available.

WOW OH FREAKING WOW! I have completely and utterly fallen in love with Tristan and Colleen. That surprises me as I had not taken to Tristan “Twist” initially. But I should have known Blair would be full of surprises as she has a knack for creating wonderful, everyday characters that your heart can’t help but to fall for. Twist almost seems lost; it feels to me that he is looking for somewhere to belong. Colleen needs loving and accepting for who she is. Both are perfect for each other.
When danger comes calling Colleen is full of surprises, the usually meet little is full of sass and has a hidden inner strength that seems to shock herself and Tristan too.

What’s a Blair Babylon book without a billionaire-in-disguise dom? Well, of course, there are some of her other series, but for the most part, if he’s a billionaire-in-disguise, he’s also a dom. Which could grow tiresome, but the plot for each book is so different, the sexual proclivities of the leads can almost be ignored. Almost. Invariably, they always seem to end up at The Devil House and they all kind of know one another through Le Rosey, a boarding school for children of the rich and powerful. Tristan “Twist” King ended up there as part of a scholarship program, but he and the other boys of his ilk were poorly treated by many of the other students and formed their own clique, The Scholarship Mafia.
Colleen is a poor girl in Arizona from a poor family who has never traveled anywhere and has a very low opinion of herself. She’s trusting and caring and wants to help people. If only she cared for herself as much as she cares for others. This is where Twist comes in. He is horrified by her low self-esteem and feels drawn to her to help heal her. Also, he thinks she’s cute.
I received an ARC of this book from the author and pretty early on I realized it was not going to be a one-and-done. I will happily read the rest in the series.

Warning, this one is a cliffhanger! thank heavens I had book 2 and didn't have to wait to continue the story.
Ms. Babylon's books are always steamy so if you're offended by unusual sex arrangements (BDSM), you may want to sit this one out. Even if you took the sex out of her stories they would still be very good reads, perhaps even better because the plots are very good. I have been known to skip over some of the sex because I want to get back to the real plot. There's always lots of action, twists, double crosses, and great lines said by the men you'll never hear from any male you know, but wish you would.
Tristan King, called Twist, a poor Iowa farm boy, was the recipient of a scholarship to attend LeRosey where he meets three other scholarship students who bond together due to the treatment from other students who are from extremely wealthy families. The four friends later get start-up loans for their businesses. Twist is in BIG trouble because the debt he owes to his "malefactor" is being called in now that he has died. If Twist doesn't deliver what they want, they will kill him.
Book one covers the relationship he forms with Colleen Frost who writes code and has a lot of personal problems.
While nothing gets solved on Book #1, it will hold your interest till the very end. Just make sure you have Book #2 ready so you only have to turn the page to continue.

I enjoyed the early interactions between Tristan and Colleen when neither realized they’d already met through their online alter egos, although both were plagued by suspicions. I liked Colleen’s self-confidence while asserting her opinions despite years of belittling, biased thinking from her parents. As business associates, Colleen and Tristan were well matched with similar backgrounds and interests, but in matters of intimacy, she was definitely a novice to his particular Dominant predilections.
The story is well written and told through dual POV’s. There’s some suspense, danger, intrigue and humour along with several steamy encounters featuring themes of Dominance and submission with some spanking as discipline. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series – “Tangled”. I received an Advance Reader Copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.

What a great opening to a new set of characters from the billionaires in disguise world and Le Rosey school! Tristan "Twist" King receives a rude awakening with a debt that's come due. As master programmer with some very interesting AI work in his name, he out to protect what's his. Colleen Frost meanwhile is just you're average twenty three year old, trying to make it by in retail while volunteering as moderator in the Sherwood forum. With a trip to the Devilhouse, some incognito and clandestine meet ups, and being at the wrong place at the wrong time through the story makes this a great opening.
And Colleen Frost has unwittingly gotten mixed up in this mess too. While both Tristan and Colleen seem to have unique set of skills and capable of somewhat obscuring themselves, reading through the story to see if they will recognize each other sets up this first book beautifully!! Love how close they each come to figuring out who the other is, before realizing it's not possible. I cannot wait to see how they escape their circumstances and if they figure out each other's secret.

I am intrigued as to why there is no ending to this book and guaranteed the next ‘book’ will pick up seamlessly from this point.. then Twisted and Tangled would make one book…
I am not that into Dom/sub culture but I found it disturbing that the character of Tristan/Twist would think of the female character, Colleen, in terms of ‘having a little’…
If he was given money to start his business then why is someone who knows of this transaction require more than Tristan’s net worth to settle the debt???
I also found her lack of self esteem disturbing.. we have not been given a lot of context other than her memories of her parents extolling their son’s achievements and telling her she is only needed to take over their store.. but that alone should not break her sense of worth..
he is saying.. oh I am not that good at coding, but he is able to produce a AI that eliminates him from any platform.. making him invisible online.. something the Russians want..
She keeps saying oh I can’t code, I have no skills, but she tore pieces off the first fund manager Tristan goes to, and the Russians uncovered she had won competitions in hacking and coding..

We met Tristan "twist" King in Max's book and Twisted gives us his story and kicks off the new series. Tristan and Colleen's story is aptly named with all the twists in this story. Tristan has his loan come due since it's now owned by someone else not their original benefactor who is looking to collect since Twist launched his algorithms on the internet. Colleen Frost is an on-line moderator at night who encounters Tristan online and she inadvertently meets up with him in person at her day job at Game Shack where he manages to get her fired. She accepts a consulting job with him for a week and winds up drawn to him and the trouble he's in. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this steamy story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book and I'm seriously looking forward to the next book in this series.

Outstanding! What an exciting book that Blair Babylon has written! Each of her books are a treat to read, and this new series, that is set in the overall Billionaires in Disguise world, is starting with Tristan. He is one of the Scholarship Mafia, four Americans who were selected to attend high school at a private school in Switzerland. This school is full of the kids of the people who run most of the countries of the world, and all seem to have money to burn. Blair introduced him originally in Maxence's books, and he showed promise at that time. Tristan and the girl he meets, Colleen, have secrets, and we are going along for the ride. If you haven't read Blair's books, you should start now, each one is well written, and have all the feels and hooks anyone could want. Twisted is well worth investing your time.

Can't wait for the next book!
Dang! I was gonna save THIS book to read later, when the next book is available. I HATE waiting for the next installment after a cliffhanger! But then, this IS a new book by Blair Babylon and I just couldn't wait. So when the next book comes out, I'll just have to reread this one ... I almost hate to see Ms B come out with a new series because this means I'll be trolling Amazon again looking to see if I've possibly missed one of her old books. (Its maddening that she can't write several books at a time to feed my book hunger since she is probably my all-time FAVORITE author☺). This book, just like her others, was excellent. I just wonder where in the world she comes up with these plots. I was so glad to see her bring Devil House into this story - it makes me want to go back and visit Wolf and the gang.

If you are familiar with Blair Babylon's books you know she will grab your attention, twist your emotions, take you on a roller coaster ride, and in book one... leave you with a crazy cliffhanger! The first part of Tristan and Colleen's story has was so much fun to read! They both are anonymously in an online forum and end up hooking up, anonymously at the Devilhouse BDSM club(in many of Blair's previous series). It was a very gentle introduction for Colleen into Twist's world. The following day, they collide as themselves and the adventure begins! Colleen is drawn into the world of big finance, the Russian Mafia and steamy romance. This book has it all, and I can't wait to read Tangled to see where the story goes from here!

OMG!! Where to start? This book is part of the Billionaire in Disguise world. If you enjoyed that world then you will LOVE Twisted!! Be warned, there are hot steamy “scenes “. Make sure that your phone is on “do not disturb” and you have your favorite drink and snacks nearby because you will NOT want to be interrupted! Probably a good idea not to start this late at night unless you don’t mind going without sleep. But that’s why coffee was invented, right! You will fall for Tristan and want to befriend Colleen! I highly recommend this book! Once again, Ms Babylon has written another winner!! I can’t wait to get my hands on Tangled!!

Colleen is an intriguing girl who has caught Tristan's eye. She's able to handily manipulate one of Tristan's brokers. Things start to get hairy when a meeting doesn't go at all according to plan.
Colleen and Tristan make the cutest couple! I so look forward to finding out how they extricate themselves from disaster.

1. Since Tristan was disguising his voice, I understand why Colleen didn't recognize it, but why didn't he recognize hers? Even after she told him she was 23 and degraded herself just as she did at the club, he still didn't recognize her?
2. I'm not into the whole "Daddy Dom" and "little" kink. It just doesn't interest me.
3. I didn't appreciate the fact that even though I checked the book description on the author's website, nowhere did it say that the book was NOT a standalone. I'm not going to continue with this series.

Tristan “Twist” King is wealthy, brilliant, and charming. Colleen Frost has a nerdy charm and relatable insecurities that Tristan hates. Neither one of them know they are Twist and QueenMod but both have suspicions. Tristan got Colleen fired and hired him to help him for a week while he is in the states for business. Little did he know, Russian mafia would show up and alter his plans. The ending is a cliffhanger I didn’t see coming, shots have been fired and I cannot wait until Tangled to see how this all unfolds. Will Tristan protect Colleen with everything he has, like he promised?

This book is so good. Colleen and Tristan are great characters!. There was a lot going on with Tristan. It's hard to figure what was happening and what was going to happen and I love that! We get some backstory on both characters and I think they could be what each other needs. Very entertaining, great writing, and a cliffhanger. Looking forward to the next one! I was given the opportunity to read a copy of this book.
