Will their tantalising affair turn Oliver into a better man or will it plunge him into eternal darkness? Can their lustful sonata find the right notes for a happy ending, or will they end up living in the shadows of loneliness?
"The Lustful Pianist's Sonata" is a historical romance novel of approximately 80,000 words. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happily ever after.
Oliver and Diana were lovely. With a cover and title like this book I just knew I had to read it and I was not let down in anyway. I loved the characters and such a great storyline. You get hit with a wide range of emotions as you journey with Oliver and Diana. I loved the tradition of the ring I bet you are wondering what I am talking about, nope not going to tell you, get the book you will be glad you did.
This is a strange little story about selfishness, determination, and how to ruin yourself. The story really centers around the villain instead of the main characters. It's about how jealousy turns into vindictiveness and how when love triumph's, you can be exposed for all the evil things that you instigated. Diana and Oliver are not hard to love, because they have the music which binds two souls together. The story had an unexpected turn at the end, because the aristocracy never acts like Oliver did, but desperation and anger can make one act outside of ourselves. As Helen learned, blackmail and vindictiveness never pay.
An intriguing story that our hero is grieving the death of his mother! And a heroine that’s whole life is her music, her mother demands her getting married and supplies the perfect man in her eyes, but not our heroine! She detest him and his arrogant ways! At her last ball before her bethrothing is announced, she plays the piano and the melody is hero’s mother’s favorite song! Delightful and dramatic!
This is a delightfully entertaining story of emotional turmoil and betrayal. The main characters having to overcome the antics and scheming of their friends and family. This plot is a bit steamy in the last few chapters. The extended epilogue is a great rounding up of their stories and hopes for the future. I read an ARC copy.
This is a very good story about love and family and friends and betrayal Diana andOliver fall in love but her cousin and his friend tried to keep them apartThe characters are determined and emotional The extended epilogue completes the story with happiness and love A enjoyable story
This is a well crafted story with a good plot, characters that develop and are also distinctive from each other. It has additional strong characters along side the two central characters, giving the story balance and depth. One of the better Regency Romances!
Oliver and Diana were perfect together. He changed from a rake to a one woman man. I got a kick out of him not being able to perform when he thought he lost his one true love. Very well written story and I look forward to seeing more from you.
