Pirouette into my heart es una historia de amor en todo el sentido de la palabra, y no me refiero solo al amor romántico, sino al amor al arte, a la amistad, a la familia y al amor por los sueños. Terminé esta historia con el corazón muy lleno de amor y sintiéndome orgullosa de cada uno de los personajes.
La relación entre Jinyi y Shen es tan bonita, pura y genuina. Fue un honor ver cómo su amor evolucionaba a medida que crecían y se convertía en un amor más maduro.
No solamente Jinyi y Shen se robaron mi corazón, porque esta historia tiene personajes hermosos que, aunque tienen miedos, sueños y problemas, nunca dejan de ser ellos mismos. Me encantaron muchos personajes, como los amigos de Shen, la superior Jing, Bai dos (🐓), los papás de Shen, el señor Pu, el abuelo y, por favor, no nos olvidemos del superior Liu, a quien amé con todo mi corazón.
Si quieren creer en el amor, lean Pirouette into my heart porque es lo más wholesome del mundo.

Put simply, this is a delight. You know when an author just gets what you want out of a romance? That's how it felt, reading this. This is one of those books that a lot of people will say "Oh, I like how the romance doesn't happen just because, I like how the characters get time to come into their own". I can sort of agree with that sentiment because the story succeeds at making this more than a romance, but at the same time it feels like a game of "I know what you are, but do you?" - we all know why we picked this up, don't we? Because it's a romance. A ballet dancer x boxer one at that.
Knowing this is localized on Tapas, this is one of those that is on the OUTSTANDING art category. I feel like the story has so many amazingly big panels instead of the usual boxes webtoons go for. Pair that with a very distinct and beautifully drawn art style? If this gets a physical release, I'll buy it immediately.
This story feels like one that respects the reader: I believe this is based on a novel, which makes sense. The story is already planned, it's about adapting it into a visual medium. It respects the reader because the motif is laid clearly from the beginning: this is about motivation, dedication to an artform / sport and about an unlikely romance. It's signaling that it's not going to derive conflict out of things coming out of left field - like a love triangle that's established after 80 chapters or something. I feel like I'll really like this and I've really enjoying it.
If you want a description of the romance: think an agape-driven one.
Either way: this is a delight. Read it if it catches your eye.

Este manhwa es demasiado lindo y nada tóxico. Me encanta que aunque los protagonistas nunca tuvieron inconvenientes, siempre intentaban ser realistas en que no todo es perfecto mostrándonos otras parejas igual de lindas pero cada una con su historia.
Cada personaje es extremadamente lindo y simplemente quieres que todos sean felices. 😭
Algo que me encanta es la dinámica entre Jinyi y Shen, el como se apoyan mutuamente y se preocupan tanto por el otro. Básicamente son la pareja perfecta 😭 y más porque su relación surgió desde niños y se amaron prácticamente a primera vista, hermoso. 💗
La historia del abuelo con la chica siento que fue un plus muy lindo pero triste a la vez 😭 y es que le dió un toque de realismo a la situación de las mujeres:(.
Me gustó mucho cómo se trató el tema de la salida del clóset de Shen con sus padres (Aunque su relación con Jinyi era extremadamente obvia JAKDKAJA) y es que aunque lo aceptaron, se notó el esfuerzo que hicieron sus padres por apoyarlo y no juzgarlo, algo que no muchos tienen. 😢
Hay muchos detalles de su relación que amé, como que Shen siempre lloraba por ver cómo golpeaban a Jinyi en la cara, el cómo Jinyi se quería lucir cada que Shen lo veía competir, las múltiples veces que se declaraban su amor, que ambos lograron su sueño juntos y nunca se dejaron de lado. En fin, viva el amor. 💗
Y aunque ya lo mencioné, también amé las otras relaciones, especialmente la de Xingzhi y Pu Lian, porque me encanta que Pu Lian empezara como un simple fanático y al final terminó súper enamorado jakdkajq 😭😭😭😭
También me alegró que al fin Allen y Junyi arreglaran las cosas después de tantos años. 😭💗
En fin, es una lectura muy ligera que te hace sentir bonito al corazón. Lleno de momentos románticos y divertidos, pero eso sí, con un claro mensaje: Nunca abandones tus sueños, y siempre valora a cada persona que te ha apoyado a lo largo de tu vida. 💗
Pd: Me encantó que al final Shen encontrara a un niñito interesado en el ballet, literalmente "Do you get deja vu?" 😭💗

Fue muy bonito. Amor sano y adorable. Me llevo muchas frases y me voy creyendo en el amor 💕
Los dibujos espectaculares; son arte.
Me gusta que además de la pareja principal hayan habido parejas secundarias. Cómo algunos a pesar de ser tan diferentes aún así se sienten atraídos entre ellos y las diferencias no los separan, al contrario, los hacen más fuertes.
El como ser valientes y los sacrificios que cada quien hace para alcanzar lo que quiere y lo que ama, y a quienes ama. La aceptación de uno mismo y mostrarse al mundo tal y como es. La admiración, amor y respeto. Cómo se apoyan en sus sueños estás parejas para alcanzar sus metas tanto individuales como grupales.
Lo que estos personajes dan y sacrifican para poder estar con su persona especial; a quien aman más.
Shen siempre tuvo gente que lo apoyo en sus sueños y lo ánimo. Desde su familia, amigos, gente de su pueblo, mentores, compañeros de baile, y su pareja. 🌸🦋
Amo la tradición del baile del lago de los cisnes de la academia Laiyi. 🤍
Y también el como se toca el tema de los sueños y como seguirlos aún cuando la vida se sobrepone con lo que deberías hacer, porque "el arte no te lleva a ningún lado". Se vienen responsabilidades de adulto y como lidiar con ello. pero al final del día el como cada quien encuentra su camino y termina haciéndolo a su manera, pues los sueños al igual que el amor jamás se desvanecen.

Everyone is sooo nice and pure. I love how everyone loves Shen. And grandpa Chen and Ying really made me cry for 5 minutes straight. Overall this story is so fucking sweet. I fell in love with it. It's so refreshing. I'm glad I read this one.

{review for manhua, not novel]. This is pure, adorable, wholesome fluffy romance. And yet, it doesn't get boring either which is the usual trouble with something this sweet and cute. There's always plenty going on in the plot to keep you engaged, it's just not stressful or conflict driven. It's more about wanting to be the best at their chosen fields, and upcoming competitions and improvements to the craft.
This is also just beautiful. The art is stunning and such a pleasure to read the entire way through. The characterisation is consistent and you can always tell the people apart, even when they have similar colourings.
The two main characters are great individually, and together, and there's a really strong supporting cast to keep the relationships realistic and the world more full. The story touches a little on coming out/being gay, but these characters are lucky to be surrounded by incredibly supportive and understanding friends and family, so the whole thing can stay happy and heart-warming.
Overall, this is a really cosy read. The ballet is beautiful, the boxing is thrilling, the romance is adorably inevitable and sweet. The story ties up all the loose ends for the secondary characters, and just always leaves you feeling happy while you read.

He leído más de 840 libros en mi vida, un gran porcentaje de ellos siendo historias con representación LGBTQ+. Y aún así puedo decir con toda la confianza del mundo que ningún BL me había hecho sentir lo que este.
Jinyi y Shen penetraron mi corazón desde el momento uno. Su relación tan inocente, tan pura, tan genuina jamás dejará mi cabeza. Es amor puro; es la razón por la cuál se escriben un millón de historias de romance y se escriben un sinfín de canciones de este tema. Las mariposas que sentía eran únicas, cosa que ningún otro libro me había hecho sentir.
Hacía al final de este manhua yo era puras lágrimas de felicidad. Más allá del romance, la manera en la que se retrata el amor al arte, a los amigos, a la familia y al honor fue espectacular. Las ilustraciones de los bailes de ballet, las escenas de boxeo, los momentos en la zona rural donde todo es precioso. Este libro tiene mi corazón entero.
Mi lectura favorita de 2024 hands down. Es una absoluta belleza.

This was amazing!! Aside from the stunning art, the emotions and how the story unfolded for the mains and even the supporting characters were so beautiful!! I wish there was a hardcopy of this, I would buuuuy!!! Huhuhu!!
I love the unlikely pairing, a ballet dancer and a boxer, but the contrast really played out well for their circumstances and development. I love how a strong support system was portrayed here and how it can influence you and your dreams, but also how passion, hard work, and determination were still the foundation. ✨️✨️✨️
The supporting characters were all amazing additions!! They added but never took away! Plus the slow-burn romance here, I love how the author did it with so much respect and warmth. I was honestly okay with them being platonic because I love their relationship already, but of course, they were meant to also be each other's one and only. 😌🥰

Fue una historia muy bella, personal la recomendaría si necesitas algo que sea romántico, esperanzador y valiente. Cabe resaltar que nos enseña también a que no llegaremos a nada si nos seguimos comparando, cada persona es distinta y tiene un camino diferente, no te compares. Tampoco dejes que el miedo te paralice, si es normal tener miedo, pero no dejes que gobierne tu vida. Otro punto es que también es normal no tener un sueño que seguir desde pequeños, aveces solo tienes que seguir experimentando hasta que des con uno y no tiene que ser algo grande, solo tuyo. Incluso nos enseña cómo a veces la vida nos separa de nuestro sueño, pero más adelante si eso es lo que verdaderamente deseas, podrás volver a conectar; solo sigues avanzando

My one thing, and idk if this is the translation or if it's actually the pacing but, it gets kind of confusing at some point. Some of the nuances from mandarin don't get translated well into English i think. But such is the way the cookie crumbles.
As all chinese manhua goes, the art is phenomenal like truly do these people even sleep????? 150 (ish) chapters of flawless, consistently flawless, art.

I wish they could show the characters show more emotion tho and a little more variation in facial characteristics would be nice, especially cause there's 8 billion characters.

Que manhwa tan precioso, el más cozy que he leído las ilustraciones son preciosas me ha encantado la temática de un bailarín de ballet y un boxeador a mi los protagonistas me enamoraron con su hermosa historia de amor a primera vista además cómo que al principio no se caía bien pero luego surge el amor entre ellos y caí profundamente enamorada además está el tema de luchar por tus sueños de no dejar se debilitar por lo que diga la gente ya que los sueños se pueden hacer realidad además los amigos de nuestro pequeño cisne son adorables, increíbles me encantó esa amistad entre ellos muy linda y al final me quedé enamorada de esta historia

My criticism of this work would be the length and the sub stories it has within it, which make it long and somewhat monotonous. If that does not matter to you, then it is perfect. This story is beautiful not only because of the dose of innocent love, but also because it makes you reflect and has themes that are very deep including prejudices, kidnappings, dishonor, family problems, infidelity, long distance relationships, jealousy, determination and motivation. This makes it worth reading the 156 chapters. I completely recommend it.

No se, me gustó la pareja principal, son super sanos, comunicativos, románticos, son preciosos. Los personajes principales también son increíbles, pero por alguna razón el tiempo en el que transcurren los eventos se siente raro, como que hay muchos saltos de tiempo abruptos que me costaba entender por qué nos saltábamos tanto tiempo, me quedé con ganas de saber cómo fueron ciertas cosas y a veces sentía que habían historias de los personajes secundarios que se extendían mucho? es raro pero definitivamente lindo, lo recomiendo bastante

Los personajes principales también son increíbles, pero por alguna razón el tiempo en el que transcurren los eventos se siente raro, como que hay muchos saltos de tiempo abruptos que me costaba entender por qué nos saltábamos tanto tiempo, me quedé con ganas de saber cómo fueron ciertas cosas y a veces sentía que habían historias de los personajes secundarios que se extendían mucho? es raro pero definitivamente lindo, lo recomiendo bastante

this was so simple and lighthearted- I LOVED IT. i literally cried through the last 5 chapters because of how perfectly this story ended. this manga is focused on dreams and how love and support from others can help you go even farther. there was such a good friendship and found family- not to mention all the other characters got a chance the spotlight with their own dreams and romance. UGH THE ENDING WAS SO GOOD.

4.5 está muy lindooo lo leí en 2 noches pero tipo separadas como por dos semanas no sentía la necesidad de terminarlo pero puede que sea por razones personales en fin hoy me dió de nuevo por leer y encontré que no lo escribí así que la fecha sera aproximada, es lindo, el dibujo precioso y se lo recomendé a mi hermana, pero no lo compraría en físico (lo leí en digital) y no estoy segura de querer releerlo

Una de las historias más lindas que he leído, de verdad lo es todo para mí. Me encantó que explora el amor en todas su formas. Amor al arte, amor romántico, entre amigos, amor de familia. Sobre todo, lleno mi corazón de mucha felicidad que todos intentan seguir sus sueños y se ayudan entre ellos para conseguirlos, casi lloro solo recordando.

1. Cuando Song Lai abraza a Xin Song después de la presentación de ballet y se preocupa por ella tanto que le pregunta si le duelen los pies para que la cargue🥰
2. La frase de "Mira, envejecemos juntos"✨️
3. El fondo de pantalla de Junyi Sheng🤭 bien lindo bailando con el Lai Ai❤️🩹 solo me faltaron mas escenas de estos dos🥺
Por lo demás, todo bien, que buen manhua 💖
