Ivy Layne has had her nose stuck in a book since she first learned to decipher the English language. Sometime in her early teens, she stumbled across her first Romance, and the die was cast. Though she pretended to pay attention to her creative writing professors, she dreamed of writing steamy romance instead of literary fiction. These days, she’s neck deep in alpha heroes and the smart, sexy women who love them.

Married to her very own alpha hero (who rubs her back after a long day of typing, but also leaves his socks on the floor). Ivy lives in the mountains of North Carolina where she and her other half are having a blast raising two energetic little boys. Aside from her family, Ivy’s greatest loves are coffee and chocolate, preferably together.

It won't take you long to fall in love with Parker and Nash. This is part of the The Hearts of Sawyers Bend but can be read as a standalone. I recommend reading the previous books because of the inter-connecting characters. A second chance romance with plenty pf drama. One look at each other and they were in insta love. The only problem was it was at her wedding and she was marrying his brother. Talk about a complicated mess. Six years later they have a second chance. Well written and easy to read. Great characters and an entertaining story line. I read a free advance copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.

I just love the Sawyers and Sawyer’s Bend. Parker’s family was all messed up because of their cruel father. Unfortunately I fell this led to Parker marrying Tyler who was a spoiled brat who only thought of himself. I think Parker put herself back in a bad situation like with her father. I felt for Parker and Nash (Nash being Tyler’s older brother) when they saw each other for the first time at Parker and Tyler’s wedding and it was love at first sight. Nash was honorable and did nothing to try and entice Parker away from his brother. Then a few years later Nash found out all the horrible things his brother did to Parker when she filed for divorce. I think Tyler had been so spoiled by his mother most of his life, he could only think about himself. Something happens that sets Tyler off and you will never believe what happens. The story got really suspenseful where I couldn’t put the book down. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

I absolutely adore the world Ivy Layne has created in her books and I’ve been eagerly anticipating this next installment since the second I finished the last one. Right from page one it was like coming home and the story had my attention from beginning to the end. I’ve devoured it in every spare moment I’ve had and enjoyed every bit. Parker and Nash are complex and compelling and I loved delving into their story. Definitely a must read for anyone following the series but also a phenomenal self contained story.

Rebel Heart by Ivy Layne was a suspenseful and steamy romantic ride that captivated my heart from start to finish. Parker and Nash have a pretty complicated love story, but when they finally overcome the challenging obstacles and find a way to be together indeed, the sparks do fly! This is book four of The Hearts of Sawyers Bend Series but can be enjoyed as a stand-alone.

Joe Arden and Lucy Rivers narrate this audiobook and are both spot-on bringing Parker and Nash to life. Joe's performance of Nash was charming and protective which of course made him swoony and hard not to fall for. Lucy did a great job portraying all of Parker's vulnerabilities, past pain, and determination to start fresh and love Nash. Both narrators did a great job showcasing Nash and Parker's undeniable chemistry.

Overall, I enjoyed this audiobook! It was full of suspense, danger, spice, and of course a HEA that made my heart happy. I'm looking forward to more from Ivy Layne.

This is a great book! I was looking forward to Nash and Parker’s story and it does not disappoint. I love this group of characters; they fight hard for what matters most. This book is loaded with suspense, angst, drama, humor, steam, and romance. It’s gripping from the first page to the last and hard to put down. It’s always fun to revisit family and friends in the series along with all the twists and turns – they really make for an enjoyable read. This book can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the series in order to get the background on the rest of the family and the interactions that span each book.

Rebel Heart. This book was a winner! I was blown away by the story and couldn't put the book down. I was captivated by the drama and suspense of the Heartstone Manor. Parker finally realized she married the wrong brother. Even though she had a sense this was true, it wasn't until she found out about the cheating on her that Tyler did while married. She finally had enough when the hand started flying across her face. Nash, her brother-in-law, was not going to tolerate abuse. Parker went back to the Manor to honor the contract of her father, but Tyler also went back too and kept up the drama. Then things started happening to Parker that jeopardized her life. Her brother stepped up the security in hopes of keeping her safe but still things happened that couldn't be explained. Now we need to find out who is behind the accidents. The book was great and the series is fantastic. Looking for the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review of this book. This is the 4th story in the The Hearts of Sawyers Bend Series. We get Parker’s story and all the trouble that she finds herself in with getting her happy ever after. Parker falls in love and married at 21 to Tyler a spoiled man who only has family money and nothing to his own name. Being young girl she doesn’t realize she’s making a mistake. On her wedding day she meets her brother in law, Nash and they both have a strong connection and a kiss in a closet! Nash stays away and becomes a successful man on his own. Tyler ends up cheating and eventually hits Parker during their 6 years marriage. When she decides to leave Nash is there to offer help. These two should have ran off on her wedding day but Parker didn’t want a scandal. Parker ends back at Sawyers Bend with her siblings in the family mansion. She loves being back with them slowly figuring out who she is an adult getting a job and earning her own money. Nash and the Sawyers go into business and he ends up living at the mansion and things get interesting and heated between them and once Tyler ends up there due to some stipulation in the will do things go side ways. Parker’s life is in danger several time but they can not prove Tyler did it tI have him removed. Tyler refuses to sign the divorce and creates one problem after another and he becomes a mean man. Nash is the man Parker needs and wants and they find a way together. I love forward to finding out more about the murders in the other stories. Ivy Layne’s word building did what most books rarely convince me - love at first sight. I was hooked from the first moment Parker and Nash met. Unfortunately it was six years before and in the receiving line at her and his brother’s wedding. Once it became their time, there was no push and pull. As much as I loved them finally getting their chance, I was really drawn to Parker coming out of her polished shell to find herself.

Although their story doesn’t really advance the overall arc of who killed their father and made attempts on her brothers’ lives, I’d say this one is 75% relationship and growth and 25% suspense. I love seeing how this family is naturally being drawn together and bonding.

There’s still Finn and Savannah (up next), Darcy (a little more of her background is revealed to pique my interest), Sterling (a regularly featured character and introduced previously with the inn’s CFO, Forrest), Avery (I don’t remember her?), Brax (I really don’t remember him?!), and ultimately Ford (he’s been in jail way too long). I’m curious about their family friend and police chief West and if he’ll end up with Avery or Darcy or at least get his own story. I hope I didn’t miss someone but there are so many siblings and I want to get more answers.

Rebel Heart, by Ivy Layne (Hearts of Sawyer Bend book 4)

Rebel Heart is the story of Parker Sawyer. If you haven’t followed this series she is the daughter of Prentice Sawyer but has a different mother than Griffin, Ford, Tenn, Royal, and then their baby sister Sterling.
I always thought Parker was the snotty sister that was forced to live in the Sawyer home but this book told her story and boy I was wrong. This story had so many curveballs thrown it had me at the edge of my seat. I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough. It has it all the fight for true love, psychopath husband, and a whiny follower of a cousin that I wanted to throttle. At the end of it all Parker finds who she really is and gets her happy ending.
There is at least one book left for this family, Sterling’s story, and I am dying to know who killed Prentice!! I don’t know if there will be a book for Ford but I’d love to hear his story if there is one!

If you haven’t read any of Ivy’s books do it. I’ve read them all! Many of the characters intertwine throughout the other stories.

I’ve loved Ivy Laynes books for a long time and this one is amazing too.

Parker and Nash met for the first time when Parker was marrying Nash’s brother and it was love/lust at first sight/kiss.

This story is full of love and suspense like we grown to know in the Sawyers Bend series and previous of Ivy Laynes books.

This book is a 4* and not 5 for me because although it’s the same group of characters we meet the book doesn’t seem that connected to the previous 3 books in the series. This book doesn’t bring us closer to solving the mystery of who killed Prentice.

Rebel Heart

This time this about one of the female Sawyer's. It's a Love story starting six years previously on Parker's wedding day. Parker's husband has a brother called Nash and he arrived after the wedding and as soon as he shook Parker's hand he was a goner.
There are a lot of twists and turns in this story but apart from an amazing kiss during the wedding party they kept themselves from each other as much as possible until the day Parker decided to divorce her husband Tyler for breaking their vows by cheating with other women but final straw was the day he got Parker for the third time and this time Nash was there to see it happen. Circumstances put then together and they build on their new found relationship until the day Tyler was cut from all access to his mothers pampering and her money as well as all family homes. Parker had became a daughter to his mother and she could bare to see her so unhappy as Tyler refused to sign the divorce papers. Claudia Tyler's mum had offered him money to sign the papers but he still wouldn't sign the papers. Claudia left enough money for Parker and rest to Nash.
As Tyler had nowhere to go Bryce Parker's annoying Cousin invited home back to the Sawyer family home as according to Parker's dad's will all family members could stay at the family home and as Tyler was still legally married to Parker he was allowed to stay. Griffin the head of the family said there was no room as Nash had the last available room in the Manor. Tyler thought he could just stay with his wife til Parker declared no there was another solution. Tyler could stay in the guest room and Nash would stay with her in her suite. I was never so proud of Parker until that time when she realised that she loved Nash and that Tyler would never share her room again.

Tyler tried to kill Parker and Nash several times but mostly Parker first as he though his mum would welcome him back with open arms. Not a chance. Claudia had finally woken up to what her son had become and had private investigators involved checking what Tyler had been up too but once she found out he had hit Parker on three separate occasions that was enough for her. Parker was like a daughter she never had.

Tyler lured Parker, Sterling and Len Parker's bodyguard to the attic and leaps out of one of the far closets at the other end of the attic and hits both Len and Sterling in the back of their heads. Tyler threatens Parker and punches her in the back of the head and almost knocks her out. Parker plays as if she is til she was totally sure he had left. She went to the attic door to get help but can't. Instead Tyler sets the attic door on fire.
Bryce tells Griffen he can't find Parker or her bodyguard. Once they finally got found Sterling and Len were immediately taken to hospital in the security card while Griffen and his security went looking for Tyler. meanwhile in the attic Tyler shows up through the closet door and shoots Bryce and goes to shoot Parker when Hawk the head of security shoots Tyler. Ambulances had been called so they took Bryce and Tyler to hospital while Nash takes Parker in his car.

Sterling Len and Bryce recover while Tyler dies. Claudia blames herself at first. Parker invites her to Sawyer's Manor so she is not alone and both Claudia and Parker's Aunt Ophelia get along and keep each other company Bryce leaves to sail with one of his friends. Parker after six months of being asked to marry Nash wakes up and realises she didn't want to wait anymore as she loves him so much.

Fantastic edition to the Hearts of Sawyers Bed stories. Didn't want to put it down. was glad it was the chance of one of the girls meeting the love of their lives and not just the boys. Ivy Maybe draws you into each character whether it's to love it hate them. She also brings the love scenes to life and bring a blush to my cheeks at times. Looking forward to next book which I will start the next day as it's getting late now. Can't wait

Rebel Heart (The Hearts of Sawyers Bend Book 4) By Ivy Lane
Trigger Warning ~ Domestic violence

In this story we have a triangle of two brothers and one woman. Nash has strong feelings for his brother’s wife. Even though these books can be read as a stand -alone, it is highly recommended to read the series to understand the character the development of both The Sawyers and The Kingsley’s.

Nash, the more levelheaded bother successful coder, who typically buries himself in work and dates occasionally nothing serious, a good son and all-around good guy who meets Parker at an inopportune time. Nash’s brother Tyler a (self-centered narcissist) marries Parker Sawyer who he has instant attraction to, many regrets as he their meeting wasn’t until the wedding. Nash and Tyler are not your typical set of brothers, there is a lot of separation in the family. Nash has set his eyes on his brother’s wife an accidental interaction changes everything between the two, and sparks fly. Time moves forward 5 years Parker’s marriage is not the loving inseparable bond it should be, and she wants to leave (divorce) Tyler. She and Nash have crossed those lines of intimacy and as expected, Nash will not stop until he makes her his ….

Death has Parker and Nash in very close company which makes it hard not seduce his brother’s wife, he tries so hard to stay clear of Parker until Nash receives a call from his mother and all hell is unleashed (I will never tell ). Now that wheels are in motion to the first step to freedom. We are in a for a ride boys and girls with so many twists and turns.
Parker and family are also under strict confides of their murdered father’s will (Prentice Sawyer) she must be very mindful of her the moves she makes as her inheritance depends on it. Now that Parker has filed for divorce, we go from zero to 80 MPH – Tyler does what he does best being the royal pain in the asset he is, as he wants a piece of that inheritance! He will stop at nothing to duck, and dodge being served those papers. Parker is now in a phase of her life with starting over and trying to make it without leaning on her family, but the Sawyers stand together all cost. This suspenseful and steamy listen will have you on pins and needles as Parker tries navigating through this tough battle of will and determination to stand on her own. I do not want to give away too much of the story as it is truly a great listen. Join me on this journey of greed, deception, attempted murder, and love. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Narrators Joe Arden and Lucy Rivers are breath taking with raw emotion they brought to the characters portrayed. The author Ivy Lane has wonderful character development, and she pulls you in this story from the first chapter. – Suspense -Family Drama with Fiery Passionate Romance “The Hearts of Sawyer Bend “can be read as a Standalone but recommend reading in order. I was fortunate to receive a copy of this audiobook, and this is my own opinion of the story.

**Audiobook Review**

“Rebel Heart” is an action-packed and heartfelt story that has all kinds of plot twists that kept me listening as I fell in love with Nash and Parker’s second chance at love.

When Nash and Parker meet, it was almost an instant love for them. But one thing stood in their way, Parker was marrying Nash’s brother, Tyler. Nash and Tyler have never been on good terms and he is instantly not happy that his brother is marrying Parker. Fast forward six years later, Parker is ready to leave Tyler after too many lies. Nash comes to help her. Parker, however, needs to live on her father’s estate to fulfill the terms of his will so she can get her inheritance. But through a work connection, the two are brought back together. And Tyler is not happy about it.

This story pulled me in from the beginning and had so many twists and turns that I could not stop listening. It’s not a weird love triangle, it’s about two people finding each other at the wrong time under different circumstances. Nash is the good guy who you would want in your corner and will always have your back. I loved how he was instantly there for Parker and never tried to push her into anything she wasn’t emotionally ready for. I loved Parker from the beginning and how hard she worked to stand on her own two feet again after leaving Tyler. And her rebuilding her relationship with her family was special.

Joe Arden and Lucy Rivers were so great as Nash and Parker. Their characters are emotional and they did such an amazing job bringing all the events to life. Joe Arden was great as the growly protector and Lucy Rivers portrayed Parker perfectly.

“The day my brother got married was the worst day of my life.” - Nash

I listened to the audiobook, which was performed by, Joe Arden (Nash) and Lucy Rivers (Parker), and together they delivered a 🔥 performance that had me listening well into the night! 🫠

This is a second-chance romance with suspense, plot twists, angst, and steamy moments between two people who battle to defy fate.

Nash first meets Parker on her wedding day when she is about to marry his brother, the man she believes is her forever love. There is an instant attraction and a chaste exchange between Parker and Nash that neither can forget......

After a few years of marriage, Parker learns that her husband isn’t the man she thought he was and turns to Nash for help to return home to her family's safety at Sawyers Bend.

Will Parker find her one true love? Will Nash win the battle to do the right thing?

Well, I won't kiss and tell!! 😉

I confess I was a newbie to Ivy Layne’s work, but not anymore! Book 4 of the Hearts of Sawyers Bend series, Rebel Heart, has me hooked and burning up the pages of the other books in this fantastic series!

Having not read the earlier books in the series didn't hinder my reading/listening pleasure; however, other reviewers recommend starting at book 1 to fully immerse yourself with all of the characters that feature in the series.

Caution: This series is an addiction of the heart so get ready to “just one more chapter” your way into the night!

I received a free copy of this book as an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. I have been waiting impatiently for the latest installment of the Sawyer family saga. Parker, who previously is introduced as the prim and proper Sawyer Sister, officially enters the series as a strong woman starting over. Finding her strength in her newly rekindled family unit, Parker takes charge of her life and fights for her independence. Because things are never easy, the wrench in the plan is her ongoing feelings for her brother in law, Nash. Watching Ivy craft Parker’s journey, tie in the complications of Prentice’s will, and continue to develop the family as a whole was nothing short of a masterpiece. Parker is a perfect role model for young women and her relationship with Nash was realistic and heartwarming. This book was more of a standalone than the others, touched a bit less on the overall perils of the Sawyer family, but was still everything I hoped for any more. I’m off to wallow in my misery of waiting another year for the next book, but will be re-reading this one incessantly until then.

Ok, I gave you a preview in the very first book about this series and I just want to give an update on the books in this 4th book in the series since I’m not going to be able to read the 5th book till July 2023 😢. But!! All the books center around their father and his will to control all the Children even after his death.. THE FIRST book was about Griffen Sawyer and his first girlfriend and the young lady that was a friend of the family.. Hope.. which is who Griffen ended up together and marrying.. THE SECOND book was about Royal Sawyer and Daisy.. she is the town Bakery owner… THE THIRD book is about Tennessee Sawyer and Scarlett, a young lady that has 2 kids Austin and Thacther. This book is really funny how they meet and the reason sounding them falling for one another.. THE FOURTH book is about Parker Sawyer the Brother’s sister and a triangle between Tyler Kingsley and his Brother Nash Kingsley.. sooooo messed up and interesting. Kept me on my toes on this book… Can’t wait to read the last book.. and I pray all my questions are answered in the last book.. cause we still don’t know who Killed their Father Prentice and a ex-(Vanessa ) of one of the brothers, Ford Sawyer.. 🤗🥰

Another saga from Sawyers Bend

This time is a woman’s turn to find love. Parker is picture perfectly married to Tyler. They look like the “it” couple everyone wants to be. The wedding day was amazing for Parker. Going as planned, just as she knew it would. During the reception line, she finally met her now brother-in-law, Nash. When their hands touched, time stopped, lightening hit, her breath was suddenly gone, then they both pulled their hands away. She just needed to get away for a minute. A quick walk down the back hall to clear her head. All of the sudden an arm came out nowhere and pulled her into a closet. It was dark, but she could see who was holding her against him, it was him, Nash. He instantly starting kissing her, pouring all his desire into that kiss. She didn’t hesitate to throw her arms his neck and passionately kiss him back. They finally broke apart and caught their breath. Nash looked at her & asked her to run away with him, right now, at her wedding reception to his brother. She knew what she wanted to do….

Ivy Layne what have you done with this book?! This. Book! I was so craving a walk back into Sawyers Bend and didn’t even realize how badly until I started reading Rebel Heart. This might be my favorite book of Ivy’s so far! She went a completely different route with Nash and Parker meeting and ending up together and I loved every second of it. Nash is completely swoon worthy. Parker is endearing and so kind. Then there’s Tyler who is just the worst. The steam, the drama, the suspense I felt everything. I always appreciate Ivy’s books because each one covers a member of a family, so if you loved one member you still get to see them throughout the current book you’re reading. They’re each standalone books, but you would definitely want to read them all, at least in the current series to understand the background of what’s happening. Which I highly recommend because Ivy Laynes books are just amazing! She has been one of my go to authors for years and I live for her words.

When an outwardly gilded life loses its shine.
When the charming, handsome man who swept you off your feet turns out to be not so charming after all.
When breaking free will put you in danger.
When you realise you might have married the wrong brother.

Parker Sawyer, like her siblings, is living under the terms of her father’s will at Heart Manor. Her husband Tyler, a trust fund baby who never grew up, is continuing his own hedonistic lifestyle. Tyler needs Parker, not just for appearances but to keep the money flowing.
Her unlikely accomplice to help her escape is Tyler’s brother Nash. A man she barely knows, but whose kiss on the day of her wedding was like a thunderbolt.

Circumstances put them together at Heart Manor.
Parker’s life and those of others are in danger.
Will she ever be safe again?
A fulfilling job and a new love might be the catalyst for contentment, but it also brings evil.

You’ll have to read Rebel Heart to find out more.

Parker was your typical "perfect on the outside but you can't get a read on what's in her head" type of woman. In the prior books, we had a clue that she was dealing with something she obviously kept from her family but she was an expert at being vague in her admissions and deflecting attention away from herself. We finally got a close and personal look at her with this book and I was completely charmed by her vulnerability and quiet resolve. Nash was ever the hero by not only seeing through Parker's facade to the woman she hid from the world, but his persistence and conviction that they belonged together despite all odds won me over. His consideration of Parker and commitment to her endeared me to him and made this an incredible love story. Added to the intrigue and crazy hot chemistry, I classify this book in the finger-licking category! Mmm, mmm, good!.

This is a great story that has all the elements of a book you could possibly want. It’s got great romance, with wonderful chemistry, a complex plot that builds the suspense down to the wire, and well-written characters that you want to know personally and see succeed. Ms Layne does a masterful job of introducing Nash and Parker as star-crossed lovers, and then lets them go for awhile, as she builds other parts of the story. Then she brings them back together and it’s hot and solid (for the most part) the rest of the way. I loved how we get to see characters from previous books, but don’t feel like they take over the story, simply add to it. Tyler, the soon-to-be ex-husband is such a good bad guy. I was continually thinking “watch out” as I held my breath on what would happen next. It’s a fabulous story. Don’t miss it.

Yet another wonderful book from Ivy Layne! Oh, the tangled web that Sawyers Bend weaves. For those of you following the series, Parker's story is fabulously blended into the series. For those who don't follow the series, you can definitely pick this book up with ease right in the middle of the series. I think we can all agree that Layne does a wonderful job with character development, beautiful plot lines, suspense, as well as cleanly closing up the plot in the end. I wondered how Parker who I previously considered to be a character left out in the fog would be developed as the series continued. I was pleasantly surprised to see the character not only come to light, but seeing where Layne left her crumb trails to the development of the character all along.

Overall, would highly recommend the book! Fabulous read! Couldn't put it down!.

This is an author I truly love to read. If you haven’t read her The Winter’s Saga you need to, it’s amazing. I’ve read it more than once. Her new series, The Hearts of Sawyer’s Bend is amazing. These are beautifully written, long reads that you will fall in love with. You start reading slower when you near the end because you don’t want the story to be over. Ivy has, once again, meticulously created a new complicated family you will root for and love. This story follows Nash and Parker. Poor Parker has been through tough times, but once she’s left her miserable excuse of an ex, she finds herself in forbidden territory. You can’t help but root for this couple and their story is awesome. Well done Ivy 🥰.

I felt in love with this author from her Billionaire Series, and this series just continues to cement my love for her books.
In this installment of the Sawyers Bead Saga, we follow Parker who is married to Tyler has now left him and filed for divorce, and her new relationship with his brother Nash who has been in love with Parker since the day he met her at her wedding to his brother.
Like in her other installments of this series follows events that keep the suspense and danger throughout the story, we still don’t know who killed their Prentice, but we still get glimpses of the other characters specially Hope and her pregnancy, Tenn and relationship with Scarlets kids but most of all we get to see glimpses of how the Sawyers siblings care for each other.
I can’t wait for the next book that follows the temperamental Finn.

i did my best with this series, but seriously

I know these books are supposed to be light reading and a little bit of racy entertainment but I’ve had enough of plot holes and double standards to last me a long while.

*mild spoilers ahead*

All of this family’s problems could have been solved with a 100 hidden cameras set up throughout the mansion. Can’t prove who tried to kill you? Don’t worry we’ve got a camera. Can’t prove who shoved you in the dumbwaiter? Don’t worry we’ve got a camera!

And seriously? Forrest ‘betrayed’ Sterling by using her to get into the mansion? He already had a job at the Inn. He would have gotten in eventually. The only difference between him and Scarlett is that Scarlett is a woman and can thus be inexplicably forgiven for any kind of subterfuge or lying.

It book picks up from the previous book. We are met with the story of the next Sawyer sibling Parker. Parker whose brother-in-law kissed her at her wedding and begged her to run off with him. Well now Nash is worried for Parker’s safety as her marriage takes a nose dive. Once Parker decides to file for divorce, Nash is waiting in the wings for a signal from Parker. This signal come on night after she misses her plane, and once Nash has had her in his bed he will not give up on having her forever. After a way to be with her at Heartstone Manor falls in his lap, he will do anything to make this deal. Sadly Prentice Sawyer gets in the way. Who knew spouses were entitled to room and board at the manor? … and Tyler, Parker’s husband, is back to win.

Parker’s story May be the best one yet. It has suspense and drama that keeps you from putting it down. Parker’s character grows from a person who puts up with anything to standing up for herself and her family. Her husband Tyler is a total jerk…(using pg terms). Nash is an all around good guy who knows his faults and tries to be the better brother. Until he decides enough is enough.
Mixed in all the other Sawyers is a definite plus.

Overall, this is a very intriguing story that flowed off the pages. I couldn’t put the book down.

Rebel Heart is the 4th book in the series and while it can be read as a standalone, it's easier to understand the family dynamics when read in order. The book is off to a slow start but once all the characters are under one roof, things get deadly serious very quickly. There are a few hot scenes, but I found Rebel Heart not quite as steamy as some other books by this author. Nash is a great guy and very determined, while Parker has quite a bit of growing to do before they find their very well-deserved HEA.

4.8 stars!! I should have known better. I thought I could dip my toe into this book and still move a room around. Ha, jokes on me. The room is in chaos, but the book is done.

In this book, we get Parker and Nash. Parker is the Sawyer in this story and you root for her the whole time. Nash has been in her life but from a distance, for a good reason. Both characters are strong and relatable. The writing is fantastic and the story pulls you in so fast. Every time I finish a book by this author, I get sad because I don't know when the next one is coming out. Lol.

When this book was downloaded in my Kindle, I could wait to read the next chapter of Hearts of Sawyers bend and Ivy Layne did not disappoint. This is the story of forbidden love,Nash and Parker’s story of could have been and was real. Parker found her backbone and escaped her terrible marriage with Nash there to sweep her off her feet and take her to the manor where she would be safe. I loved the way Nash finagled his way to stay there. But the manor can mean other dangers and with twists and danger lurking around everywhere, Ivy has given her readers another wonderful book that I couldn’t put down.
