Intemperance #5

Circles Collide

Rate this book
The fifth book in Al Steiner's Intemperance series, the iconic narrative that follows the members of the 80s heavy metal band Intemperance as well as their friends, family, and enemies. In this edition, Matt Tisdale and Jake Kingsley are both booked as solo artists at the same music festival. At first, both refuse to play in the same venue with the other, but circumstances and finances intrude and compel the bitter enemies to give it a go. Can it work? In addition, several new characters, including a rather cool airplane, are introduced and several old relationships are put to the test. There will be at least one more book in the series after this one.

This book keeps it rolling and moves the main characters into their late 30s. Well written with plenty of rock and roll, this is not the place to start if you have not read any of the previous volumes. If you have not read any other Alan Steiner, you should. He is worth your time and money!

I'm so invested in this story I have a hard time remembering to sleep & eat regularly. Simply put, it's a serious page-turner.
