Came for the recipes, stayed for the knowledge! I really loved the first half of the book remarking on the countless studies on kids’ eating habits, reminding me of how I hope to shape my kiddos’ relationship with food, and my responsibility of forming that narrative and relationship.

The recipes are all simple, nothing out of the ordinary or anything I haven’t stumbled upon before, but it’s a beautifully laid out book with ample pictures, charts, and great insight.

We really liked these to make as snacks for a little girl!
We loved the pear breakfast bites and the beetroot and salmon muffins!

Info on toddler feeding is good however I already know most of it from reading about Ellyn Satter's division of responsibility method. Recipes make up a small proportion of the book and I'm probably not going to attempt many of them just because they're too trendy and don't sound that appealing to me never mind my 3 year old. Beetroot and grated fennel sandwich?
