Welcome to Slow Falling This small book may simply be a few pages to you, but to me, this book is full of my own memories that play like a movie over and over in my head and in my heart. I have taken my love and pain and condensed it into these pages for you and I hope that as you read, you feel every single thing that I felt, from the deep twists and turns in your stomach to the giddy elation and breathless laughs. I hope you feel each memory the way I did, sweet and painful and that when you close your eyes, you can see them play out right in front of you, the way I still can, every single time. Slow Falling follows the journeys of love that I have been on. Some of them are full of innocence, full of laughter, and full of hurt. Nevertheless, each journey had love, and isn't that why we are all here? To love? Slow falling is an open journal of things that have both happened to me and things I have done to others. A compilation of memories, music, and feelings all written down in the hope of guiding some of you through your own rocky days and sleepless nights. For the soft-hearted, for the people who love easy, for those of you have put your walls up after having them knocked down, this is for you. This book is about expressing the daunting fears of the heart and being open to every shred of pain and love that comes with it. It took a lot of vulnerability for me to finally put this together, so I hope each page is worth it. I hope this collection of stories and poems helps you find yourself in your journey of love and loss, wherever you may be in that journey.
