Kudos to John and Peter for another great mix of articles about obscure and celebrated pop culture films, PBOs, digests, comics, and pulps. It’s hard to choose favorites from this issue’s features—all were entertaining and edifying.
There's always something to unearth in this magazine. Every time I am finished with one issue, I know I have a few more books added to my To Read pile. Biggest discovery for me in this issue was James McKimmey, an author I had never heard of before but who sounds immensely readable. There is also a massive round table discussion on ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD's novelization. I couldn't stand the book but really enjoyed all that the contributors (including Kim Newman) had to add to it. And an in depth look at various comic book versions of classic Sci Fi and Fantasy movies. Plus tons of other reviews. As always a big Thumbs Up.
