Conner Jagger was the boy I always wanted. But we’re not the same people anymore, and I don’t know if I can trust him with my heart. She was the girl that got away. So when Kennedy Lowe turns up broken and bruised, I‘m determined to fix things and finally claim the girl I’ve always loved.
He’s unrelenting. I’ll tease her.
Overprotective. Tempt her.
In the end, he‘ll wear me down. In the end, I’ll make her mine.
She might be the broken girl from the Heights, and I might be the guy with the world at his feet, but when someone hurts the people I love...
I won’t rest until they pay.
This boxset contains both Torment Her and Temper him. It's a dark high school romance and the third duet in the Rebels at Sterling Prep series. If obsessive, loveable, over-the-top alpha holes aren't your thing, you probably won't like this book.
Conner is the final duet in the Rebels at Sterling Prep series.
Torment Her is book five the in Rebels at Sterling Prep and book one in Conner's duet.
There is a small prelude of what's to come in Conner and Kenny's story in Trust Him (the previous book) and it set the stage perfectly.
Connor is always seen is the fun and happy one, with brothers like Cole & Ace that's not surprising. But there is more to Connor than we have seen in the previous books.
Kenny and Connor were best friends and for Connor, she's the one that got away. This book very much brings their history to light and is very addictive to read. Easy to binge read and keeps you hooked.

Temper Him book five the in Rebels at Sterling Prep and book two in Conner's duet.
This book definitely takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions with Kenny and Conner. Their story is not easy and definitely doesn't pull any punches.
I really enjoyed this series and how all the stories tie in together. With each book we dive more and more into the Jagger's lives.
Highly recommend the audiobooks for the series also. The narration is fantastic.
Wow I just loved Connor & Kennedy’s story but damn what was wrong with Warren, it can’t just be the Charlie thing as it seems he knew all the players from that warehouse. K went through too much trauma and Connor was just so lost when he couldn’t do anything. I love the fact we are still emerged in all 6 of their lives as I love Ace, Cole, Remi and Hadley also. Looks like Gravestone is the next books so we understand what Hadley is saved from but I’m thinking Mia isn’t happy with that choice and hopefully Bexley has changed as he sounded so much better than he had been with Remi. Let’s see what this next series brings.
It’s very raw but I feel it does a great job of displaying raw emotion of traumatized young people of all classes. It demonstrates hardship, love, hatred sadness and happiness all in one book. I think some of the raw parts were very deep and if violence towards women, rape, abuse are a trigger then maybe you shouldn’t read this. I could’ve done with out some of the risqué sex scenes between certain characters and the punishment from their partners but overall it did a good job making me feel all of their trauma, strength and resilience to keep on going! It kept me on my toes that is for sure!
I was looking forward to Conners story, but K is ruining it for me! I’m 21% into the book, I’ll update my review when finished. But with Kennedy I just can’t, she’s blaming Conner for HER choices, she made a deliberate move and is blaming Conner for respecting her wishes, how was he supposed to know M would turn abusive? Really Conner deserves better and I’d hoped for a heroine I could root for, Kenney isn’t it and I just feel sorry for Conner.
Also I feel like there’s been some major changes that seem inconsistent with previous character development, and what happened to Remi and Hadleys friendship? It’s all Hadley Hadley now, and while I love her as a character I miss Remis inclusion.
Unfortunately I could not finish this, no update to be had.
