He loves Christmas on the ranch. She dreads all the fake holiday cheer. Will Christmas derail their chance at love?
Tate Baker is a handsome cowboy who loves Christmas. He’s bound and determined to help his mom and five brothers enjoy the season—the first Christmas on the ranch without their father.
Then he rescues a beautiful young woman from an avalanche. She has fair skin, blond hair, and eyes like an angel. And all his plans are thrown into disarray.
Noelle is a reporter who doesn’t do Christmas. She’ll tell you it’s because the holiday is too far removed from the real meaning of Christmas these days. But really, she’s hiding from the bad memories of a particular Christmas past. One that keeps her guilt-ridden and alone, with no family to help her.
She’s stuck at the Baker ranch for Christmas. And Tate and his family are driving her crazy trying to get her to join in on the holiday activities.
Tate is falling fast for the Christmas angel he’s rescued. But Noelle is anxious to get away.
Can he help her overcome the past—before she slips away?
Book three in the series brings Tate and Noelle's story. The author brings a strong cast of characters centering on Tate and Noelle. It's a sweet romance with a bit of drama and anxiety, a strong connection and a new and growing love. They have a few issues a to deal with along the way. It's well written with perfectly painted scenes and is a wonderful story. Loved and recommend this book/series.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Cowboy & Christmas Kisses is the third book in the Baker Brothers of Copper Creek series. Natalie Dean has came up with another story that will show the close family love that a Mom and her 6 sons have. They make welcome anyone that shows up and that is good as in book one Ian rescued Jessica and now she is engaged to him. She still lives with them to keep her safe. Then there is Cal. He had started dating Ruby, his best friend Travis sister. They are there often and consider themselves almost family as they grew up close to each other. Cal has just asked Ruby to marry him. Brock is grumpy and hard to get along with since his wife left him near a year ago. Anyone that talks about marriage he tries to talk them out of it. He said that he and Madison was so fascinated that they never discussed their differences before marriage. He wanted to live on the ranch and have a family. Madison wanted to travel and enjoy life. Neither would change so now he grieves over his loss.
Travis and Tate go down the canyon and drive into town as it is about a week before Christmas and another snow storm is coming in that could close off their way to Cooper Creek. On the way back a car in front of them runs off the road and into a hillside. Tate and Travis pull the young woman out just in time before an avalanche cuts the canyon off from Copper Creek and covers their vehicles. They start walking home, Tate carrying the young woman. She had her head cut and needed stitches but they knew there was no way they were getting to a doctor. So Ian sews it up for her as he has sewed up places on the animals. A couple of days later she wakes up and starts talking. Noelle is a reporter and hates Christmas with a passion. She will not tell them the truth about her anger about Christmas. Blames it on getting too commercial etc. Tate tries to get her to participate with them in their traditions and he starts falling in love. Brock tells Tate it won't work out with them as they are just like he and Madison was. You can't change a person. But Tate wants to try. He tells her he will change his attitude about Christmas for her. She tells him he is trying to change her and that it just won't work out. Tate just can't give up on Noelle. But Noelle is determine to go back to her regular life in the city. Now what will Tate do?

Having read the first two in the series, this one was a bit harder to get through. While this gave Hallmark vibes in the sense everything was centered around Christmas, it was a bit too much at times. It was almost as if Tate's entire personality was Christmas and the two couldn't be together because of Noelle's past and Tate's obsession with the holiday. Since all these stories in the series are quick reads the relationships move a bit fast, but I felt that the couple really didn't know each other enough for Tate to say he was in love with her already. I get there was a connection, but it just seemed that it was a bit much. Although Tate realizes he was pushing her away by trying to change her too quickly, I just felt this relationship was a bit too forced and something that wouldn't last long term. So far, this is my least favorite relationship of the series, but I still plan to finish the rest.

This is another good installment of the Baker Brothers series. Tate has rescued a beautiful woman from the avalanche that closes the route into town. That woman is Noelle. The Bakers usually celebrate Christmas in an over the top way but Noelle is a loner that doesn’t celebrate Christmas at all. Because their father passed away just after Christmas the year before it is difficult to get everyone on board to continue their traditions. Noelle agrees to join the group after they all concede. Tate falls fast and hard for Noelle but she is hesitant to let her heart experience anything but pain. What will happen when the roads are clear and Noelle leaves for home?
Noelle, an only child, lost her parents at a young age as the result of a tragic automobile accident. As a result she no longer celebrates Christmas. Tate is part of a large ranching family who's father passed away at Christmas time a year ago. Tate's family loves Christmas and always celebrated in a big way. But this year is different and the family is having a difficult time carrying on family traditions without their father. Noelle is stranded on the ranch by an avalanch, but can she fit in with this large rambunctious family, can Tate and Noelle find a way to compromise on their Christmas celebrations and accept their love for each other? I loved this book, it is very well written. I received an advance copy from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review.
First read by this author & I'm not impressed. Tate falls in love with Noelle based only on her good looks. It certainly wasn't her charming personality because she didn't have one. She hates Christmas; he loves it; & she's unwilling to change her mind or beliefs - even to the point of not allowing her future children to believe in Santa. She blamed herself for her parents deaths when she was a child. She should have had counseling about it. So, she breaks up with Tate because their beliefs are too different. Yet, we're expected to believe she suddenly changed her mind at the end of the book?
Beautiful story for the season. Rescued from an accident Noelle ends up at the home of one hunk of a cowboy. One problem he is really into Christmas and she is not. These two go round and round and I love Tate. Both of these characters have issue that they must deal with and I enjoyed reading how they dealt with it all. It is a very good full of emotion and heartwarming. I highly recommend the book it will put a smile on your face. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Brock keeps making my heart ache and this book wasn’t even about him! Celebrating the first Christmas after the family patriarch died was hitting everyone in different ways. Add in a rescued Christmas angel named Noelle, who was more like a Grinch, and seriously hurt feelings and misunderstandings were rippling through the family. Tate is the ideal cowboy, hot, smart, kind and joyful. An excellent read.
Liz Baker deserves all accolades as the matriarch of the Baker family. I can’t imagine trying to herd 6 boys. I’m going to admit I had a hard time warming up to Noelle and her drama. My heart went out to Tate, but I did eventually come to understand her better. Natalie Dean does an excellent job of drawing you into her stories and before you know it you have read much longer than you intended. I look forward to reading the next book.
Book 3 in the Baker Brothers Series from the author. A reporter gets stuck in a snow bank near the Baker Ranch and is rescued by 2 brothers with Tate in the lead. Her name is Noelle so you can see the assumption that she is all about Christmas like them but she is totally against most of the traditions (except the outreach ones which tells all about the heart). I had a good time but found most of it predictable.
Cowboys & Christmas Kisses is a sweet, heartwarming romance. both Tate and Noelle have some issues they need to work through but they have awesome chemistry. There is just enough Christmas, kisses, angst and drama to keep the reader engaged. I read this one straight through! If you like clean romance, give this one a try.
Another great book in this series on the Baker Brothers of Copper Creek. This book tells of a cowboy who rescues a woman who had crashed her car coming through a valley at the same time as an avalanche took place. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
this is a wonderful story tate and his brother rescue noelle when she is in a car wreak and then an avalance. he loves christmas but she does not, can they help each other and the rest of the family she has to stay with then till the roads are cleared if you like cowboys and Christmas you will want to read this book i was given a copy of the book but this is an honest review
Tate saves as young lady from an accident and an avalanche. His whole family espically Brock can see his interest in her. Yep another brother is bitten. Only problem is Noelle doesn't celebrate Christmas. State's favorite time. Can they get past this? Oh the surprise ending came that I was expecting. Not saying what but it is good. Can't wait for the next book.
Great story about Tate and Noel. Noel was in a snow avalanche. Travis and Tate happened to be fought in the same snow avalanche. They managed to get out no found Noel in her car knocked our,. They managed to get her out of the car. She was taken to the ranch and Liz assisted to care for her. Mote to come in this story, enjoy.
Noelle is quite an interesting character. Tate has a lot patience for a girl like her.
Tate seems to fall in love easily. Even though he hadn't done it before. Noelle has a lot of hangups but the worst one was not likingvthe holiday Tate loved most. Thankfully, she decided that did indeed loved Tate and set out to show him.
This young woman hates Christmas and all the commercialism that goes with it. But even more her parents died in a car wreck 2 days before Christmas when she was 7. Now that makes sense. But there was more. Tate and his family love Christmas. Tate lost his dad right after Christmas last year. You can’t put the book down. Enjoy.
She gets stuck in an avalanche and he rescues her. It’s instant attraction but she’s not interested. It’s Christmas time and he’s a huge fan of the holiday and she’s against celebrating it. Can they compromise as they are stuck on the ranch until the road is opened up. How long does it take to fall in love?
This story reads like a super sweet Hallmark movie. It's good and also clean, and there are some points made about Christmas which I agreed with from the heroine's pov. This story makes more mention of God, but I still wouldn't really classify it as inspirational. So if you enjoy Hallmark movies and cowboy romance, you'd probably enjoy this book.
I am loving this series! The Baker brothers definitely have their twists and turns as do the women they fall in love with but that’s what makes a great story! If you haven’t read this series yet, it’s a must read!
Enjoyed reading about Tate. He loved Christmas. He saves Noelle from an avalanche and starts to fall for her but she don't do Christmas. They have a lot to work out to find love.
This book is full of romance, more so than the previous two in this series. The other two had a lot more action. He's the last brother expected to fall in love at first sight but it is exactly what he does.
I believe this is the first book I have read by this author. It was an enjoyable story taking place during the Christmas holidays. The characters were intriguing, and the book started out in an exciting way.
Tate & Noelle are polar opposites when it comes to the Christmas celebration. He wants to go all out but she doesn't celebrate it. He has patience, she has a runaway attitude. I enjoyed how it all worked out.
What a lighthearted story built around Christmas. The characters are so easy to connect with and you feel the emotions just like them. What better way to read a good book and enjoy every page.
The way the whole family welcomed a stranger into their home was inspiring. Amazing what a little care and concern can to to help work through issues in life.
