This one was pretty okay the thing that made me rate it a 3 star was I HATED!!! how Rafe called Storm kid.. I HATE HATE!! that nickname for any romance book. It's annoying.

Rafe spots a car on the road and looks to see who's stranded when his dog Jack follows a sound they run into another dog who shows then were her owner is. Deep in the snow and on the verge of almost dying is Storm who is a photographer and another plan. These two have high sexual tension but Storm is keeping a secert on why she's up there even if Rafe kinda knows but he wants to own Storm.

The Spice lordddd IT WAS HAWT!!!! THE AUTHOR knows how to write somw spicy scenes and that Anal scene Storm gave Rafe she loved to play with his hole 🥵🥵🥵
But there is drama and I wanted to shake Rafe for how he treated Storm hate sex never looked so good. But still I hates how he kept pushing her away until she left. He should have begged more.

This honestly had a lot of potential. I like the plot, I liked the characters, I liked the Indigenous representation. For a novella, it was a pretty well-rounded story. That being said, the writing was just…not great.

On the same page the characters would go from happy to sad, with no proper transition from one emotion to the other. This definitely could have used a few more reads throughs because there were just some scenes that didn’t flow well, but then the rest of the book would be good, it was a little choppy basically. Also, this was insta love, and I’m someone who loves that most of the time tbh, here not so much. I did like how everything played out tho.

It’s a novella so I always recommend reading those.

Ranger Danger is exactly what I needed and I really liked it 😍😍

It's a fast paced, insta-lust/love read with a scarred possessive Hero, a lot of steam, and a bit of angst that makes everything more interesting.
I can honestly say I couldn't put it down!
And obviously i fell for Rafe 😍
I liked Storm too but not her lies.

In the end it's really a good reading,
and i'm definitely gonna keep an eye on L.A Wayward next works.

I didn't find this book dark, but that's because I wallow happily in the pitch black. I actually found it to be quite a feel good story, and I enjoyed reading it.

This book is very heavy on the steam, with less focus on the story - but the steam was 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶, and the story that was there was good.

If ya'll don't hear from me for a few days, it'll be because I've gotten lost in the woods hunting for a Ranger.

Whew cualquier día puedo perderme si es que se promete que Rafe me encontrará porque dang tuvo todo el estereotipo que me fascina, de esos que dices yummy. This is age gap romance my favorite trope and is about Rafe an ex military and now park renger, who one night save Storm Donovan during a snowstorm, deciding to bring her with him in he's cabin until the storm ends.

These two have the biggest sexual chemistry ever! From page one to the last I feel as someone flooded me with hot water 🥵
Storm is one young girl who know what she want from the beginning and Rafe is definitely the man for here.
Rafe in other hand can be a little bit grumpy ,but he for sure is one gentle teddy bear, who is so caring toward here.
I love how they in the end unties they secrets and get they deserved happy end.

Gosh where do I start?! I love a good smutty novella and this one sure as hell delivered! Where can I find myself a sexy park ranger like Rafe? I loved reading every second of Rafe’s and Storm’s passionate encounter. Honestly wish the book was longer but I will take what L.A. Wayward gives me haha! Also, did anyone else get Jason Mamoa vibes from Rafe or is it just me?

Anyways, only point of critique is that I felt the ending was a bit rushed (without spoiling too much). PRE-ORDER THIS BOOK NOW!

Storm is found unconscious and prone in the snow-covered mountains. Rafe, a park ranger and former military, saves her. While in his home, their attraction quickly grows, heated and instant. She is a Donovan, young daughter to her father’s pipelining business. There is more to their meeting than Storm is revealing, more to her simply honing her skills and taking pictures of wildlife.

A fast-pace, age-gap story that is more spice than story. Character development is good. Rafe, older (38, in fact) and vital, has found his place in life, peace and simply lacking real companionship, other than his dog. He is caring under the surface, rough around the edges. Storm, just shy of 21, is confident while submissive loving to yield to Rafe’s roughness. In each other, they find a match to their kinks. Their attraction feels authentic even as it developed so quickly and explosively in the visually stimulating, snow-bound backdrop.

The spice is high. If you’re looking for heat, this book brings it, even draws it out. And so for me, this is more erotica than plot although some story could be found. And while I enjoyed the spice, I found myself not as engaged in the lesser balance of story, wanting more complexity, even some darkness. (It was not at all dark to me despite the “warnings.”) Those desiring progressive pace, lots of spice, and great characters might try this book.

This was my first book by L.A Wayward but it will not be my last! This is a super steamy age-gap romance with a sexy, possessive, dirty talking ex-military alpha man. To say this book was HOT would be an understatement.

"She's pure like the snow outside, while I'm a raging storm, destroying everyone in his path."

The chemistry between Rafe and Storm was off the charts and had me sweating from the get go! It checked all the boxes age-gap, forced proximity, intsa-lust/love, tension with lies and deceit, emotionally gripping, kinky AF! If jaded, broody, damaged and scarred alpha's who are convinced they don't deserve love do it for you then do yourself a favour, and read this sexy as sin book and fall involve with Rafe and Storm. Ugh so hot, this one will definitely be getting a re read!

I received this ARC from GMB PR, Ranger Danger is the first book I've read from L.A Wayward and I'm looking forward to reading her other books! This is an age gap romance that follows Rafe a former member of the military turned park ranger who finds Storm Donovan during a snowstorm. With no way of getting back down the mountains to the rest of civilisation Rafe takes Storm into his cabin until the roads clear up.

Straight off the bat there is intense sexual chemistry between the two, despite the age gap they are able to overcome this and spend the few days they have together exploring one another. Storm is an absolute firecracker, even for her young age she knows what she wants, and what she wants is Rafe regardless of how big and bad he tries to present himself to be. However the two share secrets that can either damage the quick bond they’ve developed or strengthen their love for one another. Read to find out!!

Although this isn't a full length novel we learn so much about the two characters in the short time frame that they are together which I really liked as it can often be rushed in novellas. Each chapter had amazing spicy scenes whilst still having a focus on the overarching plot of the book. I just wish we could’ve explored the characters more as a couple had this been longer. Nevertheless I feel like all bases were covered in terms of a well fleshed out plot and character development within a short time frame. I’m not really fan of instalove in general, it only took two days for Rafe and Storm to fall for one another which is probably the only critique I have for this book, if this story had taken place over a longer period of time then I would’ve been ok with that.

Really loved how gentle and caring Rafe actually was (aside from being rough sexually) considering he tried to come across as being intimidating. His time in the military had lead him to develop PTSD and seeing a male character like him being vulnerable at times was great as he wanted to overcome this and possibly have a future with Storm without scaring her away. Storms eagerness to try things sexually was interesting too, I loved her confidence, the way she became much more independent and strong willed by the end of the book was another thing I enjoyed seeing.

This book does have trigger warnings; it touches on PTSD and substance abuse, so please keep that in mind. If you like age-gap romances, I highly suggest you read this book. I can't wait to read more from L.A Wayward.

I wasn't even that far into the book and I was already laughing at Rafe's dialogue. Amazing way to start this book. L.A. Wayward I love your humour. How you wrote these characters was stunning and a pleasure to read.

Rafe, Park Ranger finds Storm in the snow during a snowstorm and saves her life. Storm is a photographer who is trying to escape her life. When she wakes up it doesn't take long for both of them to realize the chemistry between them. But he saved her from the storm but can he save her from himself? Rafe has enough baggage to scare anyone away will he scare her away too?

Storm has the gift of seeing Rafe's true nature every dirty forbidden part of him. She sees past his darkness and sees the real Rafe. Rafe is everything Strom has been dreaming about and he has so much to teach her 😉
Rafe has the ability to bring all her darkest desires to life. Lust, hunger, lies, truth, love this book has it all.

I absolutely adored this couple from start to finish, their love was so emotional and spicy so naturally I couldn't get enough of them.

I just need to start off by saying how much I appreciate GIVE ME BOOKS & L.A. Wayward for being able to read this early. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! This book was everything! I stayed up all night just to finish it because I couldn’t got to sleep without finding out the ending. I was hooked right front the start!

Sexy, Strong, ex-military, Alpha Male Park Ranger to the rescue! Yes Please! Being Trapped with said man until the storm passes….YES PLEASE! I love Rafe & Storm together from the very start! Together they are raw, hot, steamy, explorative, and kinky. So much spiced wrapped up in this book. The ending for me…. It was a rollercoaster for me. I was balling one minute bc my heart was breaking for them but then those tears were Happy. That Epilogue gave me all the feels. It was perfect!

This book has it all! Age Gap, Spice (woooooo that shower scene was intense), instant lust, love, overcoming their dark pasts, and more. 100% recommend this book, but please read the triggers. I will defiantly be looking forward to more for L.A. Wayward. Im thinking I need to purchase Make It Burn now!

Well, what can I say about this intense fast pace novella from L.A Wayward?

Rafe is a park ranger and finds Storm in the snow unconscious. They both come from completely different backgrounds, while one of them doesn't want to talk about their past and the other keeps secrets - you'll definitely be flipping through those pages quickly to find out everything about them. Oh, and of course these two have INSANE sexual chemistry from the get go, and the smut just keeps coming in the best way! I mean, once you read this book you'll get this, the SHOWER SCENE! That was definitely one of the hottest scenes I've read in a long time!

This is a great story from L.A Wayward, I only wish it was long so I could get even more of the characters! I can't wait to read more!

Ranger Danger by L.A. Wayward is an insta lust/love steamy forced proximity, age-gap romance story that had me hooked from start to finish.
I adored the grumpy Rafe and photographer Storm, their chemistry is off the charts, and the sexual tension between them is sizzling.
As a snowstorm rages outside, the couple spends days getting to know each other sexually and emotionally. Their backstories are heartbreaking and made me tear up.
But when the storm is over and secrets get out, will everything they have built in those two days be enough?

Ranger Danger was such a well-written novella with a little suspense, raw emotions, swoony moments, and lots of steam. Every lover of age-gap romance will like this story!

Quick steamy read

Spice with a side of story but the story that was there was pretty good. However, this book was very much about the steam. And the steam was pretty…steamy. Age gap, forced proximity, just the makings of that perfect quick read.

I enjoyed that we did get to know the main characters a bit. The MMC is, of course, an alpha but he’s like a teddy bear. We did delve into his past a bit so we learned why he was the way he was. The FMC had her own problems as well and maybe that was part of their instalove story.

This is an easy book to finish in one sitting but I would not have complained if it had been a bit longer.

Ranger Danger is a fast burn, age gap long novella filled with tons of spice, but don’t let its length fool you—Storm & Rafe’s story does not feel rushed at all. LA gives us well written characters whose backstories do not get lost in the intense sexual attraction between them. While Ranger Danger focus heavily that explosive chemistry, it also touches on hard topics like PTSD and addiction. It’s not your typical love story, but is so worth reading.

This is an ARC review. Well holy hell.. if I could combine the timeline and intensity of a Hallmark romance movie and the spicy of a smutty book you would get Ranger Danger by L.A. Wayward. I will definitely add this author to my authors to watch for new books. It had age gap, hero, close proximity, and lovers to soulmates. I mean it checked all boxes and if that wasn't enough. THE FREAKIN SHOWER SCENE 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 I can say no spicy I've read this year had a scene like that which was hot and fleshing at the same time. Missed the last star due to wanting a little more plot but RECOMMENDED.

Oh i love this steamy insta love read. Rafe a ranger of a beautiful mountain side. is about to go home seeking safety as a snow storm is on its way. But,he sees a lone car without the owner near by. He is angered because it can be dangerous if you don’t know what you are doing. as he was searching for the driver, he finds a woman unconscious by snow and her camera is broken. He must see if she is alive and get her to safety in a warm environment. anyways, i love this, I am happy to find this new author and will be looking forward to read her books.
