In this book, readers learn what it means to be a motivating leader in the contemporary world and how to do it. It introduces the ALIGHT leadership model. Abundance, limberness, inspiration, grand design, health, and tribe are all represented by the acronym ALIGHT. The book’s writers’ proposal for the ALIGHT model is based on their interviews with eight CEOs from various industries. They investigated the viewpoints and comments of those leaders on their leadership practices and organized them according to the ALIGHT model. Their framework walks leaders through six basics that may help them align the motivations of themselves and their teams and elevate their performance to a whole new level. They focus on what makes up their approach as a concrete and useful leadership style by dissecting those six resources into 18 key elements. This book is for all executives and leaders who want to lead in a way that benefits themselves, their team, their company, and society as a whole.
