Bracken Ridge Arizona, where the Rebels M.C. rule and the only thing they ride or die for more than their club is their women, this is Rubble’s story

Rubble:

When I first laid eyes on her I thought she was an angel.

One I shouldn’t try and corrupt. One I should leave well alone.

But I’d never been very good at staying away from things that I shouldn’t, it only made me want her more.

I pursued her. Taking her. Making her my ol’ lady and we left my violent past behind.

Or so I thought.

Old threats I thought were long forgotten come back to haunt me and endanger everything I hold dear.

Protecting the ones I love isn’t a threat, it’s a promise, and it’s one I’m willing to die for.

Lucy:

I knew he was the one the first time our eyes met that night across the club.

He was everything that I shouldn’t be attracted to.

Rugged. Dangerous. Mysterious. Those three things spelled trouble.

Worst of all; he belonged to a notorious motorcycle gang the Phoenix Fury, one I shouldn’t get involved in, but I did. And we fell in love.

But like all fairy tales, there’s always a villain, someone who wants to take the things most precious to you away.

It seems our fight is just beginning and there’s nowhere left to run.

I’ll stand by him. I’ll always be his woman until the bitter end, until I take my last breath.

NOTE: This book is book 5 in a series but is written as a stand-alone with no cliff hanger and a HEA. Recommended for mature readers only has adult content. Bracken Ridge Rebels rule...enter at own risk!

My first thought when I started reading this book was what happened. Then I realized this was the past and Rubble belonged to a different club. I did not like this new club one bit.

I did however love Rubble and Lucy. She is a smart mouth Southern girl with a huge personality.

“You know I can never stay mad at you, Sparkles.”

Rubble is a good guy who got mixed up in a bad situation. There connection is fiery hot. There is also a few shocking surprises. So grab a copy and get ready for a wild ride.

Bones is the comic relief and I’m so glad his story is next. I think he has a lot more depth than we’ve seen so far and that lady lawyer is gonna give him heck.

When I was approved for this ARC, I read Steel (Bracken Ridge Rebels M.C. #1) first to get an understanding of the motorcycle club and the world I was about to enter. I hopped over to Rubble after Steel and this book honestly blew me away! I absolutely loved it and thought that Mackenzy did a great job of telling Lucy and Rubble's story from the past and present day.

Lucy and Rubble are absolutely perfect for each other in every way. From the moment they met, you could see sparks fly and just knew this couple was going to be a fun one to read about. They had great banter in the club and it continued as their relationship developed in the first half of the book. When you see them in present day, you can still see that their connection is strong and they're even closer than they were before. My favorite thing about them as a pairing is that they faced all of their issues together. They relied on one another for strength and trusted that they could do it together. I was in love with them the whole time.

Lucy is the best heroine. She had me laughing out loud and multiple times I was saying, "That's my girl!" to something Lucy was saying. She really was so fun, fierce, confident, and knew what she wanted. Lucy doesn't let anyone tell her what to do, especially Rubble, and I loved it. She annoyed the hell out of Steel, which I loved seeing, but you could tell he loves her like a sister. I enjoyed that Lucy didn't put aside what she believed in for Rubble. She had some firm beliefs on some of his habits and set boundaries with him. He either needed to make changes or she was going to have to walk away. We love a boundary setting queen.

Rubble, my M.C. king 😍 I absolutely love this man. He might actually be the best partner. He owned up to his mistakes and made actual changes when Lucy set boundaries. He cared that his partner wasn't happy and wanted to be a better person for her. Rubble was absolutely head over heels in love with Lucy, which I loved. When men fall first, it's the best, and boy does Rubble fall. He doesn't hide his love for Lucy and he could care less if his brothers tease him for it. I'm not a mom, but this man had me melting when he affirmed that being a mom is hard and he has an easy job as dad. I wrote some really unhinged reactions to this as a note in my ARC (it's on my Instagram if you want to see), so I can only imagine how actual moms will feel. This man is just amazing and I died a little when he said "Lucy is my world."

Lucy and Rubble are so hot together. From the minute they met, you could feel their chemistry. There's a mirror scene in this book that just so very delicious 🥵 I also really enjoyed the facetime scene. If you read it, then you know what I mean. These two couldn't keep their hands off of each other and I LOVED it.

Mackenzy, if you're reading this, please can we get a Cash/Deanna book? An age gap MC romance is something I need in my life. Just the idea of the prez of the New Orleans chapter, who is best friends with the Bracken Ridge prez, falling for his best friend's daughter has me absolutely unhinged. Hutch won't like it, but I will 😏 Also, I can't say exactly why, but I think Nitro and Summer would be a great pairing. Oh, and a second chance romance with Smokey and Jamie?? Yeah, I'm going to need that too, please!

Thank you to Mackenzy and Peachy Keen Author Services for the ARC!

Rubble belongs to the notorious bike gang The Phoenix Fury and its one that isn't exactly on the up and up. When he meets Lucy, he knows he's too corrupt for her, but can't seem to stay away.

I absolutely loved Rubble's character. He's a tough biker, but he's also incredibly sweet and everything you want in a man. The way he treats Lucy was exactly what you want in a relationship. Lucy was a very sweet character and she's everything Rubble isn't. She just compliments him so well.

The plot was fun, and I loved that it was fast paced. Since this is farther in the series, the author didn't need to do much world building/scene setting, which helped get the readers to the heart of the story.

Rubble and Lucy’s story was action packed, suspenseful, thrilling and utterly entertaining. I absolutely loved their whirlwind journey of finding love and acceptance. Lucy with her sassiness, Rubble with his possessiveness and the undeniable love they have for each other captured my heart.

Really well written story that will keep you riveted to your seat, gripping your kindle tightly and gushing with love. Filled with drama, danger, violence, passion and super steamy moments, this is one amazing story not to miss.

Mackenzy Fox went all out with Rubble and Lucy's book. Not only did she create two characters who knew how to recognize their connection, but proved just how strong and just how willing they were to risk it all to be together and protect each other. Yet know how to respect each other's boundaries and when they need to communicate. I loved how Rubble always respected and made sure to tell Lucy how beautiful she was. Proving that underneath all that tough exterior and patches was a sweet man whose only dream was to find his place in the world and by Lucy's side. And Lucy proves to be a strong woman unafraid to speak her mind. Who loves to take charge in everyday life yet enjoys when a man takes full charge in the bedroom.

Rubble and Lucy are a different kind of blend of crazy in love. The book begins 6 years before the present day. We get to learn how exactly it is that they met, which turns out to be in a strip club called the Apple Pie. Where Lucy was celebrating her breakup and Rubble his birthday with his MC. From the moment their eyes met at the Apple Pie, there was an undeniable attraction. One they admitted to wanting to explore. They are both aware that Rubble's involvement with The Phoenix Fury MC was dangerous and could end up causing problems. Knowing this, they both continue to see each other and their attraction becomes explosive. Fast forward a bit and Rubble ends up going through something that forces him to take into perspective if being in the MC is worth losing his "Sparkles", his freedom, or his life.

Let's fast forward to 6 years now. We find out that Lucy and Rubble have now established their lives in a town called Bracken Ridge with the help of the Bracken Ridge Rebels MC, a legit and non-one percenter MC. With their help, they create their own business and learn what it means to truly have a family that is willing to protect them. Where they respect and protect their women and family, which The Phoenix Fury MC didn't. New problems arise when they find out that someone is trying to retaliate against the old members of The Phoenix Fury. They must try and figure out who is behind it all and what is happening while protecting their little family

I wish that I could give this book more than five stars, it was so amazing. I loved the story of Rubble and his Sparkles. Rubble isn’t a typical biker, in that the biker brotherhood isn’t something that he grew up with - instead it’s just something he sort of fell into that helped to save him. Unfortunately for Rubble his first club, The Fury, aren’t really a brotherhood and are more like a poorly patched together criminal enterprise that has a few moral and smart members. As usual the author makes you fall for new secondary characters and crave additional books for them! I won’t name names so as to avoid spoilers - but there’s some clear favorites by the end of the book. Lucy is an awesome character. Thank goodness for a tough, smart, mouthy, and hilarious female lead who handles Rubble and some of his club brothers when they get out of line. Lucy perfectly called Rubble out on his baloney and he honestly changed his entire world for her. It’s a warm and fantastic romance full of action, humor, and the steam factor is intense. My only complaint it that I want more books in this world asap!!

Sacrifices For Freedom

Colt's storyline, book 4 in the series, continuously brought up Rubble and Lucy and their backstory from 6 years ago and leading up to how the Phoenix Fury MC is now on the hunt for him.

Rubble & Lucy's storyline begins 6 years prior; giving their backstory especially his leading up to him leaving his MC to join the Bracken Ridge Rebels MC to present day with the Phoenix Fury hunting him for a debt owed. From an outlaw club that left him permanently disabled to working for a life free from them and trying to create a family with Lucy.

Their love for each other is truly a sweet romance in which both sacrifice for each other. Closures, happily ever after, and snippets of other storylines to come are riddled throughout.

Holy steam! This book starts off with a bang with our love interests meeting in a strip club! What does our heroine do? Show up a stripper and tease the man to an inch of his life!

I freaking loved Lucy and how she was willing to walk away when she realized Rubble wasn’t good for her, only for him to fight for a life with her by making himself better.

The first half of the book is set 6 years into the past which then introduces the drama of the second half.

I loved the side characters! And the way Lucy found her long lost brother? Epic! I can’t wait to read the spin-offs and see some more of these guys get their happily ever after.

Give me more please!

Rubble… he has been a side character that I haven’t put to much attention on. So to get his book was double. I love the Bracken Ridge boys but was not sure I would love Rubble and Lucy… But boy was I wrong!!! To get there backstory and how they ended up where they are. It was really good!
How Mackenzy lifts the subject of Lucy and Rubbles journey to pregnancy in a good way, the sex (ohh the sex) and of course a fight and touble…
Well to sum it up. Rubble is yet another Bracken Ridge boy to love!

Rubble is the fifth book in the Ridge Rebels MC.
They say that behind every good man, there’s a queen by his side. Lock just got out of a two year relationship. She just want to have fun. Rubble is celebrating his birthday with his brothers and bumps into Lucy. Sassy and hot. His hooked with just one smile. After an accident that leaves Rubbles almost dead. He walks away from her. He realizes that a world with out Lucy has no meaning. Together they start a new life, or so it seems. When his past catches up with them. Hell breaks loose. Now he has a set of new family that will protect him and Lucy with their last breath. Loyalty is everything. Lucy walks with Rubble into the chaos. No southern woman lets her man alone.

Rubble book 5 ( Bracken Ridge Rebels MC)

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel. Part one is gritty, raw, full of deception, mistrust and violence. When Rubble and Lucy cross paths their attraction is immediate and they form a bond. Treachery and doubt leaves Rubble no choice but to take Lucy and leave, to start again. Part two is about the good life they live, the strong brotherhood they’ve found, their new family, that is until the past rears it’s ugly head and threatens to take it all away. 100% recommend this book to everyone ❤️ it’s definitely a 5 star read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rubble and Lucy are the perfect for each other. They had a chance meeting at a club one night and are together for awhile, when something goes wrong on a drop for his MC club. Rubble is hurt and in the hospital. As he recovers he is able to leave the Fury MC and moves to another town to eventually join up with another MC group. Rubble and Lucy find their way back together and deal with old MC business together. Rubble and Lucy are opposites that attract each other.
Mafia, drug use, opposites attract. Would recommend.

The first thing I noticed about this book was how effortlessly these characters fit together, how the way they spoke was to complete the other and damn did I not want it to end.

Lucy is sassy and smart and knows what she wants and fights for it, Rubble is hardened but at the same time open and protective and every aspect of their relationship was goals. They fought, they loved and most importantly they did what was right for each other! Their scenes together were so hot and spicy I loved their connection.

This series keeps getting better and better and I want to devour every man that is written about. One of my favourite series to come back too and guess who’s next.

I received this as an advanced copy, and I am so glad I did.

The wait is over for Lucy and Rubbles story! I have loved Lucy since first reading about her in Steels book. Lucy is truly a firecrackers which is why Rubble calls her sparkles. Rubble well, I wanted to wrap him in my arms and hug that man. Rubbles' past was deep and black, but that man came out on top. Lucy and Rubbles connection was intense, but holy smokes, it was hot

Now I won't say much more, but what a f*cking twist. I literally reread it to make sure it was what I read. Can't wait to see how that plays out.

Now, the countdown is on till Bones book is out.

Rubble is book 5 in Bracken Ridge Rebels M.C. Series. This is Rubble & Lucy story is told in 2 part which surprised me. The first part tells us their past and the second part is their current life. Their journey is incredible and definitely one you want to go on. The fact that Rubble and Lucy will go through everything and must fight for so much. But in the end, they will find their HEA.

Rubble has many incredible characters. Mackenzy Fox does remarkable job with storyline and the characters. There is many twisted and turns through out the book. I love Rubble from page 1. I would definitely recommend this book and this series.

Rubble is Daddy!

Lucy and Rubble knew that being together was trouble from the start. Rubble's club was in over its head with all the shady deals the Prez was doing behind the brothers backs. After an accident almost ends his life, Rubble decides to get out while the gettin's good. What they don't realize is that its not as good as they think. And soon the other shoe will drop. Mackenzy's MC books aren't just club bunnies, getting high, and fighting. There is always a story. It has grit and spice and characters you will fall in love with!

I went into this book completely blind. I had not read any of th books in this series.
With that said. I loved the back story between Lucy and Rubble. This book was gripping a full of a couple who needed on another. Saying I loved this book is just a fraction of the way I felt about it.

I read this book as an ARC reader.

The book starts off a tiny bit confusing but please bear with it, I swear it's worth it.

Rubble isn't your regular biker. He's a good guy who gets mixed up in a bad situation. This story is unique and I absolutely loved it. His and Lucy's chemistry was explosive and it's impossible to not like both of them, even though Lucy is an absolute smart-mouthed woman and Rubble sometimes comes off as the bad guy, even if he's not.

This book keeps you on the edge of your seat all along and is impossible to put down, whether it's because of the many twists and shocks in the story, or whether it's because of the talent Mackenzy has of griping you into the story.

Don't go in expecting an average biker romance, because this is nothing like it. Expect an absolutely crazy ride that you're bound to love.
