The Metaverse: What Will It Be? How will it work?

There is something interesting about it that companies like META (before Facebook), Microsoft and others are betting on it.

Today many of us still do not understand concepts such as cryptocurrencies and some are already investing in lands in the metaverse, and in other worlds and special ships in that same metaverse.

This little book gives us some ideas of what it is and possible investments not in cryptocurrencies but in NFT (Non Fundable Tokens) that are used in games and perhaps in present and future metaverses.

You have to know and learn about everything, because if you have small children they are already living this universe, very far from the one we live in.

And you have to learn not to lose money, in the two or three times that I have wanted to put money in this, I have always lost. will i learn

Good overview of metaverse

I enjoyed how the author took time to break down the meaning/story of metaverse and differentiate it from VR and AR by highlighting that Metaverse has the ability to capsulate both of the technologies in it.

The high-level overview of how metaverse can disrupt certain industries with examples was a nice touch and made the content relative to the day-to-day activity.

As a person with limited legal background, I am excited to see how the topics raised about licenses, copyright etc. within the metaverse will be handled.

The breakdown at the end was extremely meaningful and made this purchase worthwhile!

I wish the author had a section on how newbies (like me) can get their feet wet in the vast ocean of metaverse.

- This is a very updated book about Metaverse, NFTs, and cryptos, written after Mark Zuckerberg's announcement of rebranding Facebook into Meta, thus spreading the concept of metaverse globally.

- I recommend this book for beginners in the field, who are eager in getting the latest updates of the topics, and have little knowledge about it (like me).

- The course of the book is short, precise, and informative, suitable for fast readers.

I used to think the metaverse was basically the same as virtual reality. I even remember there’s some show or maybe anime where people use a VR headset to dive into a full-on world, while in real life they’re just lying in bed. What the metaverse actually is kind of disappointed me. But back to VR, I found a really cool project https://braindancevr.com/es . Might not be for everyone, but it’s done super well. And from what I’m seeing, 18+ VR games like this are getting more and more popular.
