As a one-time OOPs employee, Ingrid Lawson has seen plenty of paranormal accidents. But witnessing and experiencing are two different things, and she's perfectly fine being a plain ol' human. So when her ex-boss Nina schleps her around to estate sales, where she purchases two of the butt-ugliest gargoyles in existence to decorate her hedge maze . . . what happens next is stone-cold cuckoo. Suddenly, Ingrid's beloved career as an animal therapist is on hold as Nina, Wanda, Marty, and the OOPs gang help her navigate a rocky new life as a nocturnal paranormal with big horns, bigger ears, and an aversion to sunlight. Oh, and there's the inconvenient matter of attraction to the man who turned her . . . who's so familiar . . . And did we mention the screeching harpies hellbent on getting their hands on her? It's all hands on deck to keep Ingrid alive until the danger passes, but throw in an old enemy they never saw coming, and her case just may be the hardest yet!

Wow!!! This book is another awesome Accidental book. In this quick read the ladies of OOPS have to help one of their own when Ingrid accidentally gets scratched by Nina’s new gargoyle and turns into a gargoyle. This book has a ton of story packed into a smaller book. Many of our favorite characters come to help and it’s so nice to read about the gang. Honestly after 20 books I feel like I am part of the OOPS family ❤️❤️❤️
I grabbed this novella as I have read all the books in the Accidental series. This time, Ingrid, an animal therapist, is turned into a gargoyle. She is not alone, however, as Griff- a gorgeous male- has also been turned. They must navigate their new situation with the help of the OOPs crew. Unfortunately, being a female gargoyle is rare, so Ingrid must also avoid the harpies who are hunting her. Cassidy really does an interesting job of bringing in so many of the other people who have been touched by the paranormal kindness of the OOPs girls from previous books. That's pretty tough considering how short this read is. If I have any criticism, it is that this story deserved to be developed as a full novel rather than novella. So many issues were dealt with in the shortest of fashion. The reader has to do a lot to keep up and fill in missing pieces. The only other thing which is all too common in these is the immediacy and instant attraction between the men and women brought together. It is all too convenient. There wasn't even much courtship in this read.
The Accidental Gargoyle is book 21 in the Accidentally Paranormal Series. It’s cute, quirky, and packed full of non-stop action. This is a short novella and without giving away the whole plot, I’ll say that Ingrid and Griff are polar opposites that come together to make a great couple. The dire circumstances with which they both must face, the supportive OOPs family, and all their rescue pets make for a very enjoyable and exciting journey. As with each book in the Accidental Series the family of characters has grown and the community rallies together. This is an adventure not to be missed in this series.
If this is your first time picking up a book in the Accidentally Paranormal Series then know that there will be a lot of characters that play a part in this story, but each have had their own stories. The main characters Ingrid and Griff are forging a relationship in this tale, so it’s okay to jump into the series as long as you don’t mind missing background on the other characters. Dakota Cassidy does a great job of giving new readers just enough information to keep the story moving and entice readers to try previous books.
The Accidental Gargoyle" is the 21st book in the Accidentally Paranormal Series.
It is a charming and entertaining novella that focuses on Griff and Ingrid's budding relationship. Carl, a lovable character, seems to have developed a crush in this storyline, adding a touch of humor.
Ingrid takes her accidental transformation in stride until she discovers she is special and becomes the target of a hunt. Fortunately, OOPS comes to her rescue. The camaraderie among the characters is fantastic, and the story keeps the reader smiling throughout.
Ingrid, a lovable character, faces mystery, suspense, romantic interests, and a twist in her favor. Griff, an awesome character, adds charm and humor to the story.
Ingrid has been a part of the Oops family for some time, witnessing crazy events and holding their secrets. Becoming a gargoyle was unexpected, but the family stands by her side. As the danger escalates, Ingrid finds herself next to the most handsome gargoyle she has ever seen.
I received this book as an ARC for an honest and unbiased review. I truly love this series. Nina is amazing I just love the way that she takes care of the people that she loves. Ingrid has been schlepping around all day with Nina going to estate sale after estate sale until they end the day buying two ugly gargoyles and then after Nina goes inside Ingrid accidently breaks off the ones finger and so she has to go get crazy glue. Ingrid returns from buying the crazy glue feeling really stiff and then she hears yelling and instead of calling for Nina goes t0wards the fighting to find two hot guys fighting by the fountain. Ingrid has seen her fair share of accidents goddess of love and half cougar but she never thought it would happen to her. This book was awesome I could not put it down and I read it in two days, this book is so entertaining and Dakota Cassidy is amazing.
The ladies at OOPS have a new accidental case and it is one of their own~ Ingrid is one of the only humans in the OOPS circle. When Nina purchases two gargoyle statues for her maze, the unthinkable happens…Ingrid breaks one of the fingers and cuts herself on it. Voila~ She is turning into one. The only problem is…many will hunt her for her heart~ Now that harpies and some others from the ladies' past are trying to abduct her…in the middle of a new romance…will they be able to save their newest additions?
The Accidental Gargoyle is a quick and adorable addition to the accidentals series and like the others it can be read stand alone. When Ingrid is accidentally turned into a gargoyle the Oops team takes her under their care and gets her through the madness and danger that comes with each turn and if she gets to spend a little quality time with a gorgeous guy along the way so much the better. I truly loved this installment.
This one felt a bit shorter than the norm, but honestly I didn’t check. I think I just enjoyed the story so much that I need more details. I’ve always enjoyed the character of Ingrid and I’m glad so many others made for a return appearance. It’s like catching up with old friends. I don’t want to spoil it, but a beloved character also gets their own love interest and that was super cute.
What an intriguing and imaginative scenario! Being transformed into a gargoyle would be a wild adventure, especially with friends by your side to help you navigate the challenges. Discovering that you're a rare female gargoyle and being hunted for your heart adds a thrilling twist to the tale. This was a captivating fantasy story full of suspense, friendship, and self-discovery.

I loved the story - another light, fun read. However, there were a number of spelling and grammatical errors that were quite distracting. I'm waiting for the next book, but I hope more effort is put into proofing it before the final copy is made.
Loved seeing some of our old favorites roll into this one!! Every cameo that wasn't Darnell or Arch just warmed my heart...not that I don't love those two but they pop up all the time so it isn't as magical
Imagine being turned into a gargoyle accidentally. Imagine having friends to help you cope. Imagine learning that you are a rare female gargoyle and that someone is hunting you for your heart. Follow the tale and get caught up in the fantasy.
My heart is breaking now that it’s all over. I loved this series, heart filling, beautiful, kind, sexy, magical, fun. I laughed and cried, stayed up late and woke up early. Headed to see what else Dakota Cassidy has to offer.
omg you will never be disappointed with Dakota Cassidy's book especially the accidental series they are the best . I cant wait until the next one comes out
This was a great last one (if it is...which I think so). Everyone ends up almost as a supernatural being, so they should all be around for a long time, happily ever afters all over.
Ingrid was helping Nina bring in too but ugly statues. When she was getting ready to leave she did a high five to one of them sitting there and broke his finger off. she couldn’t tell Nina what she had done so she went to go buy some crazy glue. Then everything changes. Her life is thrown into chaos. Cute book
