Excellent guide for those who wish to up their game (pun intended), set their foot in the gaming industry or know their industry better.

I picked this up to better understand the development of a medium I loved when I was younger and for my child.

Although, this book was not what I expected (my bad), it has one of the best insider information I have ever read, not only in the gaming industry but across the board. Some of the tips by the author apply to all careers and creative-commercial projects.

The breakdown of different roles and levels of the game industry, the details about the projects and the emphasis on creativity were awesome.

Mind you, this is more about the careers in games - typical day of someone in a specific role in the industry, tasks, responsibilities, the steps in the creation of the game etc.

All very well explained. Kudos.
