Join Cee Bowerman and the Texas Kings family for the last installment in the Texas Kings MC series.
Clem Forrester is the funny brother. The prankster. The one you call when you need help. The last single man in his club.
Over the last few years, he’s watched all of his brothers, the ones that share his blood and the ones that share his loyalty, find love with the strong and beautiful women who have come into their lives and stolen their heart. They’ve formed lifetime bonds, created families, and settled down into married life. Clem is happy for each of his brothers and wishes them all the happiness they deserve.
The women his brothers have fallen for set the bar high. He wants the same things - family, happiness, love, and devotion from a strong woman like the ones that surround him, but he can’t seem to find her in Rojo, TX. Just when he’s ready to pull up stakes and start fresh in a new town, a beautiful woman appears out of nowhere and knocks him off his feet.
Kim is running from a bad decision and settles in Rojo where no one would ever think to look for her. Unable to work in her chosen profession, she takes a job as a bartender in a local club that’s owned by the Texas Kings MC. Her move to Rojo isn’t permanent, but after a chance meeting with her grandma’s hot neighbor, she might just want to stay.
Connected by relationships that have spanned years and miles, Clem and Kim will have to overcome obstacles that are thrown in their path. Through gunfire and blood, their relationship is forged, and Clem realizes that Kim is the strong woman he’s been searching for.
Join Cee Bowerman for the final book in the Texas Kings MC series - but know that the families you’ve come to love don’t end here. Follow the Rojo, TX series to keep up with all of your favorites until the second generation of Knights, Kings, and Conners start in 2023!
When I started reading Cee's books The Texas Kings I feel in love with this crazy ass family. But Clem he was my favorite.
At the opening of this book my heart dropped and tears so many damn tears. I put the book down. Picking it back up again because I needed to know Clem and Kim story. They are prefect for each other. I not going to say much because it would give away the ending and spoil it for those who have not read. Cee I was so mad with you at the start of the book but I should have had faith. Thank you thank you for such a wonderful beautiful story. 💜💙💜💙💜💙💜💙
I’ve been looking forward to this book, basically from the beginning. And I liked it. I think Kim is definitely the girl for him. But this book felt really rushed. There was a lot of parts where it just skipped ahead months at a time. And we didn’t really get much time with Kim and Clem getting to know each other.
The sex was sort of the same. We got one scene, and it was ok, but mostly it was vague and rushed through. And all the other ones were fade to black or just a hint hint, nudge nudge kind of deal.
I liked everything that happened. But I wish we got more of the in betweens.
It was just a tiny bit anticlimactic after all the wait plus all the important shit that happened Just in this book alone.
What a way to end a series! This was amazing and I just absolutely loved reading this series. Clem is just amazing and I love the Texas Kings. I can't see see what's next. Bickers, love, family and of course some action.
When Cee closes the door on a series, she really slams it shut and breaks the window! Holy spoons! The revelations in this book, they surprise you and make you hurt.
Clem is the last Forrester to be single. He's watched all his family and friends find their partners. Watched them grow the family tree. When he meets his one, the drama is full on.
Spoiler alert!!! Clem is NOT dead! I repeat, CLEM IS NOT DEAD!
Laughter, tears, drama this book has it all. Clem and Kim are amazing and I loved seeing how all the families have grown. Please See take us back to Rojo soon.
I'm sad that this one is the last book in the series, it's been a crazy ride. It's nice to see that the author has plans for the pack of kids that are around. I will say that Clem is a character that was always around, I didn't hate him, but he wasn't one of my favorites either, sort of ambivalent about him. So with that said I was a bit upset with how the book opened, Clem's funeral. WTF!! And it wasn't like it was 50-60 years in the future, no it was in the present time line. From the funeral we went back to the where things started.
I liked Kim from the start, sure she was in a bit of trouble, but it wasn't her fault, she was trying to survive it. And if a girl's in trouble like this being around the Kings and their tribe of people are just who you need.
I liked how Kim and Clem met, they clicked instantly and I liked being in on the joke that Clem wasn't aware was going on. When Kim's past did come out, it came out in the perfect way to the perfect people to help her out. I loved the connection that Kim had to the Forrester's that she wasn't aware of. Once everyone was working towards helping Kim with her trouble things were easy.
I loved how most of the girls pranked Clem by siccing all the kids on him, calling him Daddy while Kim was there, all mad because they didn't get to met her yet. It seemed to set the tone and Kim wasn't phased by it.
The drama at the end was brutal. Such a blood bath with so many of our favorites getting hurt and hurt bad. At this point I couldn't turn the page fast enough. There was the rush to get a hold of everyone, to get them safe, to get people to the hospital who's loved ones were there, a bunch of them touch and go. Once things were locked down, then a plan had to be put in place to make sure that this threat never came back to them again. I was shocked when it was Summer, of all people, who came up with the best plan and honestly it was what this person deserved.
Once things were settled down we ended right where we started at that damn funeral, which ended up being a bit funny, but I think if I was Kim, I would be pissed too.

I gotta say that Mrs. Bowerman really knows how to go out with a bang! This was certainly an emotional roller-coaster of a story from beginning to end, and although I hate that this is the last book of this series, it was definitely the perfect ending to such an amazing series! I'm really looking forward to the upcoming stories and series from this author, and have no doubt that they'll be fantastic as well. This is one of the very few series that I have read that it didn't take me reading the first couple of chapters in the newest book to remember the characters and what was previously going on in the series. I loved all of the characters, the quirky humor, suspense, camaraderie, and most of all how this unconventional family always stood together and loved each other unconditionally. Trust me, it's not exactly easy to do with such a large family-blood or not. Lol! If you haven't already read this and the other series by this author, I would highly recommend that you start with the Texas Knights MC, then the Texas Kings MC, Connor Brothers Construction, and Rojo, Texas series.' They're all absolutely fantastic stories, and you definitely won't be disappointed! There's quite a bit of character crossover between all of them, which just means that you get even more of these awesome characters! I hope you come to love all of them as much as I have! I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.
“Marry me and I promise to make you happy every day of our lives. I’ll give you all the babies you want and I”ll honor and love you until I take my last breath. Then I’ll wait for you in the afterlife so I can spend eternity with you in my arms”
Wooooooowwww! I’ve never read a sentence like that! Such a romantic book with a little twist it’ll surprise you but it’s romantic and funny! It’s been a while since I read a book from this author and I didn’t enjoy them so much but this book is a romantic book with good sex scenes and very funny scenes! My last MC book was a big shit and I didn’t even review it, I was really angry, I just need it a biker book like this one. So goood! Safe, romantic and funny, There’s a kidnapping experience but it’s in the past,

When I started this book, I put it back down not wanting to read of Clems death. So I stopped reading. I then went to the back of the book to check the ending, and so I began again. This book is a consolidation of a great story of characters and their lives. A must read.
I read this with laughter and tears. I had complete trust, but man, I was worried with that Prologue at the beginning! Excellent book Excellent series !!
We have come to the end of the Texas Kings MC series. Its one series that breaks my heart to see it finished but it was finished in style. This is Clems books. Clem the joker, Clem the wild one, Clem the prankster, Clem who watched as one by one each of his loved ones fell... into love with their soul mate. Clem, who never wanted to settle down then Clem who wanted what his siblings had. This book is going to bring out a huge range of emotions in you. Some will even have you questioning the sanity of Cee Bowerman and will make you want to hurl something at her for writing what she did! It will give you your What in the ever loving!?!?!?!?! moments. It will give you laughter, it will give you a bucket of tears but most of all, it will give you a fitting finale that does justice to the Texas Kings MC and shows you what an amazing storyteller Cee Bowerman is. I am sad to see the end of this series but I know its not the end of the Forresters and all that they encompass. Bring on the next generations!!
I enjoyed this book. I liked Clem and Kim together, and I liked that both of them recognises something special in the other almost immediately. I did feel like we didn't get to see the build-up of their relationship because after their first two times together, the book jumps ahead two months and Kim tells her sister that she's in love.
It was great that nobody batted an eye at Kim having lied to them about her name/identity and the whole Forrester and Kings family immediately jumped in to help her (I know, I didn't expect anything less). If you haven't been reading the series in order then the names become overwhelming and difficult to keep track of. I have only read selected books in the series so it was a wee bit confusing for me at times.
The author as usual throws in drama with a bad guy who is after Kim and there is no proper resolution of this issue. We don't know what happened after The Big Showdown and it feels very unsatisfying because we didn't get to see that the villain got what he deserved. I also thought that the attack made no sense because what was Lenny trying to accomplish? If he wanted the evidence back then why is he not targeting Kim? instead he's attacking so many people and creating more enemies.
I know nothing about American or Texan laws but I felt that the jail term for Kim's parents seemed excessive for what they'd done -- growing weed in their greenhouse. It's not a hard drug like heroin and if they were not selling or distributing, but only growing for their own consumption, surely it wasn't a serious crime deserving of so much jail time? This part puzzled me and I also wondered why the Forresters hadn't had someone look into this earlier .
Kim also alludes to the fact that she was raped during her time in captivity but doesn't seem to have any trauma or negative after-effects from all that she experienced. It seemed odd and made her story less believable.
This was another book that was more about family than MC and there was zero club action. No "church", no clubhouse, barely even any riding. It could actually be just a contemporary romance, it isn't actually an MC romance.
Waiting for this book was sort of how I used to wait for Christmas when I was a little girl. When December 25th rolled around I couldn’t wait to open the presents that were under the tree. I would start ripping them open right away and then would slow down when I saw the pile was getting low, but ultimately would be too anxious to know what was in those packages to stop myself from finishing.
This is how I felt reading Clem. I knew it was the last book, and I tried to only read a chapter here and then I would come back, but it was fruitless!! I was gone at word one!!
Clem needed a special woman and Kim was perfect for him. She is smart, funny and strong. However most importantly she is soulmate, and thankfully he sees that before he moved away. But, like all the King women, she comes with complications and Clem and the Kings don’t fail to step up to the plate to protect her and insure their happiness.
I cried and laughed and when it was over I yelled “No, no it can’t be the end!! There has to be someone she missed!” This might be the end of these Knights and Kings but I have no doubt with the hundreds of offspring running around, they will live on in Cee Bowerman’s mind and the pages she writes for years to come!
Disappointed in this book for Clem, however if you you have read this series the clans of Martha and Smokey and their sons and daughter Jenna and their extended families then you have to read this book for yourself to formulate your opinion. I personally did not like this storyline because angst was forced upon me as the reader, a true fan to this series and characters, in the prologue unfortunately. In the first chapter of the book, setting a tone of uncertainty. Being that critical thinker I kept thinking how could this happen? When would this happen? So as I read, the worst outcome was top of mind. I didn’t enjoy their romance, the Clem and Kim show. A second mention, is that these guys (former military types) are so good about threats and danger why would they not think that this setup could be a trap? Kim told the clan over and over how her ex (the villain) was awful, horrible, and extremely dangerous. She wanted to run again to protect the clan from Larry’s antics. There is a foreword from the author to trust her to do the right thing because readers may have some choice words for her. I am just disappointed with this book.
Liked the cameo from another author, thought that was rather funny! Although, I have to say Elaine Paige as the inspiration for Lani's name was a little... odd as a choice?!
I liked Clem... have to say, I have done in all the books that I have in which he has appeared. I liked Kim too.
I think that the last few chapters were almost too rushed. I felt a little cheated when we had been given that start. And I would've really really liked a post-epilogue for a .
Annnnd... I would've really liked a massively hugely long epilogue rather than that rather abrupt ending... but, I liked it as a whole!
I have laughed, I have cried, I've swore and broke my heart. Then I've swore some more! OMG! I have loved clem and with every book I've read I have loved him a little bit more. I'm so happy to see him find his Martha xx This book is so well written i could not put it down. There will be tears and there will be heart break, but omg! The prologue scared the crap out of me but I 100% recommend this book with all my heart. I loved the Texas Kings, and I can not wait for the next Generation. Thank you Cee for giving us the kings to love and laugh and cry with and over. I'm so sad that this series is over but can not wait for more in the rojo and Tempests books, and the secound generation of kings, knights and conners and rojo series. Awesome book from an awesome writer.
Clem is the final book in the Texas Kings MC series and follows Clem as he meets the granddaughter of his arch nemesis next door neighbour, who has some secrets of her own and a past that is not far behind her.
I was disappointed when I found out that Clem’s book was the last one in the series as I had fallen in love with him over the first few books of the series. However, they say you save the best until last and in my opinion this was the best book of the series. I loved the story in this book, I absolutely, totally and utterly enjoyed it and found myself engrossed right from the prologue. I loved the characters and for a few moments I really disliked Cee Bowerman but I hung in there and it was totally worth it.
I would recommend not only this book but the entire series.
This book had me all over the place emotionally. I laughed, got reacquainted with old friends, parts of it were suspenseful, and I cried, like ugly cried when my book boyfriend, Clem got hurt. I have loved every character, and all of the couples, but Clem has always been my favorite Forrester. I have been rooting for him to find his Martha. I almost stopped reading it when the book started off with his eulogy. I'm so glad that I read the book. Actually I read it straight through in a few hours. I just couldn't put it down . I highly recommend this book and all of the books in this series. I'm so sad this was the last book, but I will be waiting for the second generation and their stories.
Now I remember watching a TiK ToK of Cee saying how devastated she was over one of Lani Lynn Vale books, and I can hands down understand Cee's reaction, because I had the same reaction when I downloaded and started reading Clem.
This book had me tied up in knots, but I composed myself after my WTF Cee moment, and let me just say that Cee absolutely smashed the ending for the TKMC series.
Cee brought all our beloved characters into this fairwell, and gave us a whole new batch of baby charicters I am dying to read about when and if Cee graces our Kindles with them.
Clem and Kim's story is epic its full of action, laughter, great banter and hot scenes, and tears at the start and end.
Be prepared. Do not start reading this book unless you are somewhere you can literally bust out laughing. I started reading this when I couldn't sleep at 2am lying in bed next to my husband. I tried to hold in the laughing as best as I could. I failed. Totally woke my husband up who thought I was nuts until I made him read the first chapter in the middle of the night. He laughed so hard he woke my kids up who had to know what was so funny. So now my kids want to set Roman candles off and no one got any sleep for the rest of the night as every aspect of the first chapter had to be discussed at length. Five stars for just the first chapter. The rest was just a bonus.
Loved this series since day one. Everyone finding their person and Clem feels it’s just not in it for him in his hometown anymore. But a surprise, the neighbor who he doesn’t get along with, has a granddaughter staying with her and he realizes he has found his one for him. But she has some very bad people after her. With the help of the Kings and the rest of the crew, they help her and her family, but not before chaos erupts and people are seriously injured. You’ll laugh, cry, and maybe even scream some while reading. But you won’t want to miss this book. Can’t wait to see the rest of the books from Rojo and what the next generation has to bring.
I gotta admit that I was freaking the fuck out. Here I am thinking wtf! I know sometimes one of the characters has to take one for the team in order to cause enough drama but NOT MY FAVORITE DAMN CHARACTER 😖 thank God shit worked out. Only caused me a couple more grey hairs than I started with 😡 That being said…where the fuck do you come up with some of this shit? MANNNNN when Brenda went up there talking about him lifting one of her pig tails and making fart noises because he said it looked like the hair on horses behind…I peed a little 🤣🤣🤣🤣 please never stop writing these stories🙏🏻 I could spend the rest of my life being entertained by them.
Girl, u scared the pants off me with that eulogy in the prologue! I was so freaked out I had to read chapters 13 thru 15, BEFORE I could complete the prologue and continue reading naturally.
Luckily, I’m one of those people that read books over and over again, so I never care if I know what’s gonna happen. It doesn’t get ruined for me to know the ending. My enjoyment the first time or the tenth is still at its highest! Thank you!!!
I don’t think I can put into words just how much I love Clem’s story. My heart is full. My eyes are a little swollen from crying. My sides hurt a little from laughing. I have ALL the feels for Clem and Kim’s story. I will admit that the prologue made me nervous, but knowing Clem and knowing that Cee Bowerman wouldn’t hurt us like that, I set it aside and kept my faith. So. Worth. It. I’m going to savor this a little and then go back and reread all of the Kings books. ❤️
I honestly loved every book in this series but it’s no secret that I’ve been beside myself waiting for Clem’s story to be told. And oh what a story it was! Drama, heartache and, of course, lots of laughs. I wish the story could have gone on but all good things must end. I’ll be content with acre’s other series’ until the next gen books start coming - I’m totally invested in the Tempests and the Tenillo crew - and lord knows the Rojo books will feed that bit of my soul that wants to catch a glimpse of my favs.
Clem’s story was long awaited and was exceptional. Filled with the craziness that Clem is known for along with all the feels. It a good book with some very anxious moments. The outcome of those moments will change lives. There is also a romance blossoming throughout the story. Oh, and birds play a role too. I am going to enjoy this book lots of times as I reread it. Highly recommend. It can be a standalone but full enjoyment comes by reading the series and adopting all the characters. No cliffhanger, HEA for some, and no cheating. Enjoy
So, I’m going to have words with this author. As I read the prologue I was so sad that I delayed reading the book! I really was upset that I would read a chapter, put it down, then read a chapter. I was literally grieving. I absolutely adored Clem and it was only fitting that he has the last say. This book is truly about family, whether by blood or by choice. It was about overcoming and survival, reunions, and HEA. This is one that I will definitely read several times again.
